Favorite sushi restaurant in the suburbs, amazing food and great atmosphere. The wait staff is amazing and always accommodating.

We are semi regulars at Nabuki, meaning we go once a month or so. We found on this trip, the service was not it's usual top notch. We sat in the bar and it was not packed, but it was busy. We were sat immediately, waited about 5-10 minutes for someone to take our drink order. We then ordered a couple of apps, which one came out quickly, and one did not...The waiter came back and asked "if he could get us anything else" and we told him that our other app didn't come out and that we would like to order dinner. He took our order, entered it into the system, and 3 minutes later our 2nd app came out...clearly, he didn't enter it the first time. This was minor glitch and we were enjoying the slower pace, it was just unusual for Nabuki. There was a Chicago Bulls player sitting in the bar and it appears the staff was a bit star struck by his presence, which may have been enough to throw the staff off their normal game....All in all, the food was it's normal great, prices are what you expect, and the atmosphere is very upbeat. We will continue to visit Nabuki, and I will recommend it accordingly.

Overrun with noisy children for dinner hour. Would not recommend for adult dinner!

We’ve been going to Nabuki regularly for years. Current hostess staff service level is poor. They act like we have never been there.

I understand there was a mix-up regarding your preferred seating in the bar area. When your guests arrived ahead of you, our host seated them in the dining room since there were no specific notes in your reservation indicating a seating preference. Had we known, we would have been more than happy to accommodate you in the bar. We're always happy to make note of preferences for future visits to ensure everything goes smoothly.
