- TTimPortland / Oregon •1 review4.0Dined on Nov 9, 2024Thai Carnation had some yummy Curries for us today on this cold and damp day. We asked for our curries to be medium-hot and the server brought out an assortment t of chilies so we could spice it exactly how we wanted. We started off with an appetizer of Chicken Satay. The chicken was sparse on some of the skewers but the peanut sauce was amazing. I probably could have eaten another order of Satay but decided to save room for my curry dish. I had the massaman curry while my friend had the red curry. Both were excellent and a good portion of meat was added. Everything tasted fresh prepared and delicious.More infoThai CarnationPrice: Moderate• Thai• Gresham / Troutdale•4.3

Discover Troutdale
If you’re looking for good ole American food, Troutdale is the place to be. With beer as a signature beverage of the area, pub delicacies abound. Hamburgers and sandwiches piled high with sliced meats or specially prepared fried chicken are musts. You can also find many establishments selling dishes made only with fresh, locally grown ingredients. Residents say that tasting from food carts selling a variety of unique dishes is also a must-try. If you need to satisfy an international cuisine craving, Asian fare, like you'll find at the Vietnamese and Thai restaurants are quite trendy. Sample a bowl of Vietnamese noodle soup or a plate of Vietnamese fish sauce wings.
