Seafood | Chebeague Island, Maine

Once nothing more than a small takeout shack, Cooks Lobster House in Bailey Island has grown in proportion so much that it was once featured in a national ad campaign for Visa. The newly renovated and expanded space offers a selection of great foods and great, friendly service. Cooks Lobster House hosts live weekend entertainment out on the deck for an added casual and welcoming vibe.

A raw bar displays chilled lobster claw, shrimp cocktail and a chilled seafood medley whereas the kitchen serves up Maine lobster stew, Haddock sandwiches, a porter house pork chop and a 14 oz. rib eye. Cooks Lobster House also has vegetarian options such as the vegetarian ravioli. Make sure to ask about any available weekly specials or features.

Seafood | Chebeague Island, Maine

Estes Lobster House is a seasonal seafood restaurant. Located right on the edge of the ocean, the restaurant has a unique catchphrase to tell diners exactly how to find it: "Follow Route 123 until you reach the sea!". It's true, Este's Lobster House is the last thing diners will find before the road ends at an island. As mentioned above, Este's is a seasonal restaurant so diners need to check before if coming here near the beginning or end of the off-season.

Obviously, lobster is the big draw here and there are a variety of ways to enjoy it. For appetizers, diners can order the fresh lobster dip in a creamy Newburg sauce, lobster stew or a cheesy lobster quesadilla. For main courses, there is a lobster Newburg pizza, lobster Caesar salad, lobster tacos, lazy lobster tails, lobster & scallop casserole and even lobster mac & cheese.
