Mystic Fish Ratings and Reviews
We were there for our 25th anniversary, and we’re not disappointed. The portions were not overwhelming but were a reasonable size. They are pricey in the evening, but the Early Bird is a good value. Since this was a special occasion we decided to go all the way with the later dinner. We had a better selection then, and our food was delicious. Their Fish Chowder is outstanding.
This restaurant has served Palm Harbor and neighboring communities for many years.
We have visited numerous times due to it's consistency, professionalism, outstanding food quality and overall comfort. There are no mediocre selections on the menu. We are happy to recommend with great enthusiasm!
The place for amazing seafood. The dishes prepared here are fabulous. Everything has its own unique flavors. The Chilean sea bass never disappoints. They also have paella, rack of lamb, steaks, oysters raw and baked. The food is artfully prepared and the pairings are wonderful.
Thomas was our server and he was Awesome! He was very friendly and knowledgeable with his recommendations, based on our preferences. Each course was exceptional! They even threw in a surprise dessert since we noted it was our Anniversary when we booked the reservation through open table! We would highly recommend!! Thank You Trinity and Cullen
Our server was terribly rude, like we were inconveniencing her. I was with my family and my 88 year old grandmother who had a few questions and was given quick and sharp answers. It was our first visit and unfortunately probably our last. A shame because food was pretty good.
My dinner was very good. My wife got the cod which was over cooked and tough. We know that Mystic Fish is a popular place and generally very busy but the noise level makes it impossible to carry on a Normal conversation. Ou4 server was capable but not very friendly. Hostess staff always has an attitude.
Our experience was extremely enjoyable. If the seating, service, and food we experienced at our reserved booth for 2, were the same throughout the restaurant, they could charge twice as much for their wonderful food and service. Across the small room, however, it was noisy, dark, and crammed. Time was 5 pm on a February weeknight. I wish this restaurant were in my town!
This was my fourth visit but a first for my brother & his friend. It was every bit as enjoyable as my first 3 visits. I love Mystic Fish so much that whenever any of my friends from Michigan come to visit I'm going to take them there. The prices are very reasonable & everything I've tried in all 4 visits has been excellent. I'm so glad my sister took me there to celebrate my birthday because I might not have known about it otherwise.
Mystic Fish is consistently good ... from Richard at the front door greeting guests, to the servers
who remember you like extra anchovies on your Caesar salad, to the quality of the ingredients in the innovative dishes, to the inviting presentation of the food in general ... the ambience is welcoming, there is a feeling of hospitality and because of all of these factors, Mystic Fish is our local favorite!
Mystic Fish never fails to please. An oasis in a desert of mediocre dining experiences. The food is always creative and interesting, the service is attentive without being overbearing and the atmosphere is busy without without being intrusive. Long may it stay in business.
