Anthony, our server was the best. The food just wasn't up to the usual high quality. The duck breast was a little dry and bland and the portion was small. It just wasn't up to par.
The three of us went to Mystic Fish for Father’s Day. It is one of my husband’s favorite restaurants and he asks to go there often. We had the most delicious meal! Pot stickers, lobster escargot, Hog Fish, Scallops, different salads and at least one dessert each! There was no food on any of the plates. Excellent waitress, comfortable table, not noisy, and it just doesn’t get any better than that. I have a feeling we will be going there even more often now after that meal!
Delicious food done right! Largest bowl of huge steamed mussels I have ever seen
Excellent ribeye and crab crusted Black grouper special. Wish they had more side options but the food and service were both very good. Reasonable wine prices and big selection
The food as always was Excellent. MUST have is the mussels in leek and chorizo both. I have it every time I go. My wife's crab crusted Grouper was excellent. Our server April was attentive and could not be more helpful.
Excellent as always we had two couples with us who never dined here before and they all raved about the food.
The steak tartare was bland and not seasoned very well. The escargot was good and the petite sirloin was good but a little over cooked.
This place is very consistent. Service, ambiance, cocktails and food are always on spot! Dine here frequently and have always been pleased.
When it comes to fish restaurants you will not find one any better then Mystic Fish. The food is the very best and the employees couldn't be more attentive to their guests. You should give it a try.
Food is usually on par and we are frequent customers. Our last visit however, the seafood boullibaise did not smell good and I got a couple of bad mussels in the batch. I have ordered this meal several times and have never had a problem. Unfortunately however, when I reported the problem to management I was asked if I wanted more mussels or another meal. At this point I was no longer hungry and did not wish for another meal or more mussels. I found it surprising more was not done as far as replacing the bad meal. Perhaps a comp for the meal or even an offer for a dessert or something. I am too shy in person to be pushy so I paid full price for the meal and went on my way.
Service was very poor with the waitress visiting the table once after meal arrived. Could not get a refill on our drinks, could not get a second place setting- food was just average - overall poor - will not dine there again
Wonderful food, great restaurant, nice people! One of our favorite restaurants!
We enjoyed the atmosphere, our waiter Pete was very helpful and the food a delight. A very special evening for us!
My 67th birthday and one of my very most favorite local restaurants are a winning combination. We love Mystic Fish.
We enjoy the food. The Bison filet and the Hogfish for excellent! Great service very attentive definitely will go back.
Mystic Fish is one of my favorite local restaurants. The food is always right on and this time, they did not disappoint. I had the Hog Fish, my nephew had the Sea Bass and my brother had the boulliabase . All were excellent, as usual.
The service was attentive. Noise level on the high side, but hard to change that as it is such a popular spot and is always crowded.
We have dined here many times, always experienced a great evening..Food is great!! Our last visit our waitress must have been having a off night, she was short of being rude, not attentive, never came back to ask how our dinners were, we had to ask water, ..felt like we were inconvenience to her!!
She has been there a long time!!
All that being said, we will return, and will be asking for a different server!
Exceptional service and attention!! Tara was our server!!
Make a reservation and have your table ready!
Before we went to dinner at Mystic Fish we stopped next store at the Pint and Brew for some outstanding craft beers.
The food and service was top notch at Mystic Fish. We were a party of four and everyone enjoyed their meal. They also featured some cold water oysters from the pacific north west. A real treat.
We have never been disappointed when visiting Mystic Fish! The food, drinks, servers ...all excellent! We love the authentic Bermuda Fish Chowder, the lamb, short ribs...Heck we love it all! We cannot wait to go again!
As indicated everything was/is outstanding with Mystic Fish.
Mystic Fish is a consistently great restaurant. Good variety of choices.
I had been to this restaurant many years ago and it was very good, and decided to try it again. Most of the dishes we had, Steak Tartar, Grilled Shrimp, and Grilled Sea Scallops were superb. Not so much the Lobster in Escargot Sauce. The lobster pieces were very small and the sauce separated leaving butter on top and the other ingredients on the bottom where the sauce should have been emulsified. As far as our reservation for 6:30pm, we were seated right away and our server Keith, came over right away, we ordered drinks, got bread and butter, placed our order, and that was it. Even though he was right next to us, we were basically ignored! Tried several times to get his attention to no avail, so much so that another server saw our dilemma and asked if she could help/get us what we needed. And then he noticed us again. The issue was he was devoting his time to a 10 Top party. We waited over 40 minutes for Grilled Fish which usually is cooked in 3 to 4 minutes. We wouldn't have cared so much but we had concert tickets. As it was we barely got to our seats and the lights went up on the show. He apologized profusely and took our drinks off the bill, which was a soda and a bottle of Pellegrino Water to make up for the snafu. That and the quality of the three dishes I mentioned would make us return to try it again.
Introduced friends to the restaurant and they loved it.
Food Good, Hard to get a reservation. A nice place to go, service good.
The seafood is always fantastic and this is my very favorite restaurant when I visit Florida about 6 times a year. However, I was thrilled on this trip to find a Buddha Bowl on the menu! Although I eat fish at times I am mostly a vegetarian. I tried the Buddha Bowl and it was delicious! Even if you are not a vegetarian, you will live this delicious mix of vegetables and grains.
Dinner was outstanding as usual out of 6 guests 5 had the Hogfish, which is the best always👍👍
Mystic Fish as always served expertly served excellently prepared cuisine. Time of wait between order and service was, however, a bit lengthy. This delay was, nevertheless, worth the wait.
Mystic was spot on as usual.
Food was good, service was good. On guest was young intern who enjoyed the wonderful options to choose from.
Mystic Fish is our go to restaurant for special occasions and out of town guests. The food is deliciously prepared and the presentation is outstanding. The wait staff is professional and helpful.
The early evening reservation was right in the busy period for this old haunt; clearly the place to be for the local retirees, (early bird specials). However, that made no difference to our visit with excellent and attentive service, excellent food and reasonable prices. Great place for a special occasion. If you have not been to Mystic Fish for a while like us, try it again. You will be pleasantly surprised.
Mystic Fish in Palm Harbor has an early menu that has a great variety of entrees that comes with salad or soup, and 2 sides, plus fresh rolls with a wonderful garlic butter. Their fish and pasta are specials ever day prepared in several different ways. There is always something new and delicious to choose from in fact sometimes/often it's hard to decide.
We had a great meal and service was excellent
We had ravioli with shrimp and scallops, which had a porcini mushroom sauce. It was fabulous.
Always a great meal and a great experience.
Great waiter very attentive and on point
Food was tasty as well
Always wonderful experience. Service is exceptional and food is delicious.
Excellent as always.
The food and service is always excellent . I object to being dictated how many words I must write. My first sentence adequately sums up my view.
