The food and service were both 5 star superlative. The route to the bathroom was a little crowded but that didnt matter much. Decor was very well done. Aquariums were beautiful and how appropriate for a fish restaurant!
The 6oz filet that I was charged for, was a 4oz filet and I believe it was cut out of another type of meat...it did not taste like a filet and had began to shrink.... a true tenderloin filet has no fat, so a Medium Rare, would be the same size as it was going on the grill. I can not believe the integrity of some companies, handing out $3 a pound beef...probably teres major, and charging for a $9 a pound beef tenderloin. If I am wrong, correct me, but I have been a corporate chef for 20 years and the quality/taste speaks for itself. Our server only offered bread once, forgot extra dressings and was very slow to refill any beverages and it was 45 minutes for our entrees.... We drove an hour and a half to meet friends there. Was not worth the trip at all.
Never had a disappointing meal here. Beats all others . Service is super. Quality abounds. Exceptional display of food on plates. Reg Austin and wife, Gladys Cliff
Great time even though our salads were still frozen.
Always enjoy our night out at Mystic Fish!
As usual, the food was delicious. The hogfish is excellent with a wonderful sauce. My husband had shrimp and scallops on linguine with a great sauce. Our waiter, John, was very good. He even ran out to the parking lot to return the credit card my husband had forgotten. It's the restaurant we usually take our guests to.
Great service and great food.
Brian the server was very attentive
We have dined with you on two prior occasions and enjoyed the meal very much. We brought friends visiting from out of the area and they said when they return we must eat here again.
Excellent service - many great food choices - reasonable prices. Thanks
Birthday dinner was spectacular as always. Mellissa our server was great and the food was spot on!
Excellent food ... excellent value. Sorry it took us so many years to discover this great restaurant. Will definitely come back next winter if I'm down again.
BTW my rack of Lamb was superb and hubby raved for the next couple of days about his short ribs.
Mystic Fish never fails. It always has the best food, service and value. I highly recommend even if you have to drive an hour...well worth it.
This place is simply awesome, if you haven't had there Hog Fish or Bermuda Fish Chowder you are missing something large in your life.
Great menu. Small plates and standards! Love the smaller portion desserts.
Great fresh fish and we love the paella. good drinks too
Terrific as usual.
We had our spirits down when we saw a restaurant is in a strip. Mall. This was immediately forgotten when we got inside. Excellent ambience. Great cocktails. Must have Small dishes: octopus, artichoke hearts with crab, lobster snail style. Had Chilean seabus for main - was excellent. Serie was extremely efficient and friendly, with good advice on choices. Definitely a place to visit while in the area.
We always have a good meal here. A constant winner. Boullibase is a awesome time after time.
The food and service is exceptional. Highly recommend the Mystic Fish!
Always great food and service. You can never go wrong...such a great variety to choose from . As a health conscious person, the food is not over seasoned and you can taste the real flavor of the item. Portion sizes are spot on for me which leaves me felling completely satisfied. We absolutely recommend this place😊
We had vegans, sometimes if they cannot find something them can order a baked potato or plain lettuce salad.
It would be nice if you had those.
We eat here frequently. Food is consistently good. However this was the first time we found the atmosphere very distracting. Several noisy tables. This made for a very disappointing environment. Service attentive but a little slow. Maybe this noisy crowd was because it was a Friday. Normally we eat on Sundays.
I love Mystic Fish. The salmon is my favorite. Great service and management
Mystic Fish is our favorite restaurant. The food is consistently great! Highly recommend this neighborhood gem.
Delicious food and noteworthy interior design. Waitstaff was attentive, knowledgeable and very professional. Restaurant owner was on site, checking in on tables to ensure dining experience was memorable. Surpassed our expectations. Would definitely recommend Mystic Fish
This is my in-laws favorite restaurant so we try to take them there every time we visit Florida. However last year when we went, the place was so cold it was miserable. This time I went prepared with fleece and scarf. Surprise, surprise they no longer keep it at walk-in freezer temperature. The fish is very fresh and the presentations are excellent. Would highly recommend this restaurant.
As always Mystic Fish was great. My favorite place to eat in Palm Harbor.
Excellent cuisine. The seafood is so good that we have yet to try any meat or poultry dinners. The preparation is unique and I have yet to be even mildly disappointed in the dinner serving. Creative, healthy and very accommodating t my wife's gluten free dietary restrictions.
Knowledgeable, friendly wait staff (Drew) who was very attentive to our needs. Even though the restaurant was crowded, Drew made us feel like her only customer.
While there are other good seafood restaurants in the Central gulf Coast area there is only one Mystic Fish.
So impressed that we’re going back again before we leave Florida! Highly recommended
Our table of four enjoyed a wonderful meal. As always all the servers and wait staff are terrific. A great place to come for any occassion
Wonderful meal. Great for both seafood and meat dishes. Wait staff is very attentive. Go to this restaurant if you can.
A regular on our restaurant rotation. Had family with us this time and everyone had a great meal. From Cocktails to desert, Mystic Fish did not disappoint. Great service. Never had a bad meal here.
Manager and hostess were very accommodating when we increased our party to 5 at the last minute. Food was fantastic. Smoked trout appetizer was generous and beautifully presented. Garlic butter with delicious rolls were served as well. Manager/owner? stopped by our table and also greeted us at the front door. Decor is super creative and welcoming. No bad seat in the house.
Food was good, a little pricey and I would have liked my Rack of Lamb to be a little more seasoned, but, I would go back. It was my 70th B/D and was surprised nothing was offered.
Love Mystic Fish as always. My favorite restarunt.
We always look forward to mystic Fish and join friends there often. However this time, a waiter we have never before had serve us, was stressing urgency in ordering by 5:10 or we wouldn’t get the early dining rates. This has never been an issue before.
When he took the dessert order he immediately brought the bill before dessert even arrived. No offering of another drink or coffee.
When one of our guests quietly and respectfully spoke with him to relate her disapproval at getting the bill so early, he took offence, was very rude to her and left before she finished speaking. I thought at this point a manager would come over but obviously he did not relay our concerns.
This won’t stop us from enjoying Mystic Fish on a regular basis but we will never be served by this waiter again.
Always good food! Love the fact that they have small plates because I can't eat a full meal. The stuffed artichokes and the seared scallops were awesome!
Never had a subpar meal here until this time. Ordered the chicken with lemon caper sauce and there were no capers on it. Waitress did bring some capers out when I told her about it. Sea bass was really thin and over cooked. It was like they sliced it in half when usually you get a nice thick portion
Waitress was told and hostess came over and presented us with dining certificates to use on a future visit...very nice touch.
We will definitely go back as I am sure it was just an off night in the kitchen.
It was Helen's birthday and we went specifically for the Hogfish, which had been highly recommended. They had no Hogfish on this occasion, but the menus is extensive. She had the Bouiliabais (sp) and it was spectacular. I had Salmon, which was exquisite. Each had a glass of a very nice Riesling, a cappacino and a regular coffee. Came to $72 plus tip, which I thought was very reasonable. Will go there again.
