Great place to bring kids. Our boys love steak and the kid's meal was perfect!

We went for steak, steak is our jam... here are the things I loved: It's cozy and on the quieter side. You must get the Tabasco Onion Rings. Prices are better than most nice dinners in Park City. We got the 14 oz strip and it was ok. We will try something else next time. It was on the tougher side comparatively and was seasoned with rosemary which was unexpected. We like rosemary ok so it wasn't horrible and would have been fine if the cut was more tender I think. Overall the steak was a little bland, I had to ask for A1. Did come on a very hot plate and we'd asked for charred and got it, which sometimes is a challenge. Anyho... we would come back and try a different offering, they had quite a few interesting choices. tbd... and thanks for a good dinner out. We enjoyed.

Our family of 5 went to this restaurant for Christmas Day - we all wanted steak and there were no reservations to be had in the more well known steak houses. We were so happy with our choice!! The food was delicious - we had calamari and ahi tuna to start then we all had steaks - four filet mignons and a NY strip steak. All excellent! Get the Tabasco onion rings as well! To top off a great experience they were running a buy 1 get 1 free deal (must be because the restaurant is newer?) so we got quite a bit of a deal on the meal. Whole highly recommend if you are staying in The Canyons area.

Horrible experience. Walk in and smell the sewage more than the food. Ordered drinks but couldn't get what we wanted because they were out of mint and Strawberry puree. Ordered dinner but out of Crab cakes, second option was a ribeye but out of that as well. Keep in mind all this was told to us after our waiter took our order to the kitchen so he had no clue before hand. We received our crab stuffed mushrooms and all 4 of us felt something was bad in them and could not finish even one. Worst experience we have had in 20+ years.

Nice comfortable restaurant but our food not so good. : ( Would never order crab cakes or steak from here. I wish I would've taken photos of the crab cakes. : (

The food was good, alittle loud for our group. Please check to make sure your check is right as we thought we might have missed the 2 for one entrees that were advertised.

I think this is THE WORST restaurant in Park City! We were so disappointed. The food was horrible! Our group had the blue crab mushrooms, FISHY...The BBQ shrimp, okay...wedge salad, basic...the chicken and biscuits, undercooked...the brisket cheeseburger, plain... the lemon chicken, HORRIBLE! This restaurant does not even know how to make a basic berre blanc sauce! Their sauce is like a tasteless gravy. To top everything off, they charged us a a mandatory 20% gratuity. There are so many great restaurants in Park City and this is NOT one of them. I'll go to McDonald's before I go here again!

I am a local and have visit here quite often.
We enjoy taking advantage of the off season specials but on this visit a automatic grutuity of 20% was added to our bill. We were a party of 3 and our nice young waiter was just learning how to become a waiter. Forcing a customer in a small party to pay for the hard work a server would receive in a large paty order is unacceptable and very arrogant.

Let the customer decide !

I picked this for a first date. We were able to have a great conversation and spent 2 hours chatting over dinner.

The food was wonderful and portions generous.

Overall, a great place!

We were pretty disappointed with this place, unfortunately. Waiter said he would bring bread, and the kids kept asking about it. Found out near the end of our meal that the bread was still rising. Very weird that they didn't have it baked before opening. The food was lukewarm but the plates were very hot. Not sure how that even happens. Shrimp was over cooked and chewy. I had sent a special request when booking that this was an early Fathers Day celebration and asked if there was anything they could do to make it special, and our experience was actually the opposite. Based on the prices, I'd have expected a lot better and I'm confident I could have made the same food at home, a whole lot tastier for a lot less money.

This is our second time in this place, funny that was the same table and the same waiter, Joel, who attend us. The steaks were great and the service very good. Myrtle Rose see you next year when we return for ski!!

I like Myrtle Rose. Good, solid comfort food, moderately priced. Myrtle Rose is a compromise between bar food and Park City's high-end restaurants. Comfortable and moderately priced. You can watch sports at the bar. Quieter than Maxwell's (a very good sports bar that also caters to families) which is next door and owns Myrtle Rose.

Food an service were lovely - filet and crab cakes both excellent. Restaurant is very pretty and romantic...minus the basketball on tv (so inappropriate for the ambiance) and the screaming kids (please do not bring small children here...try the pizza place next door).

It was just OK. The salad and French onion soup were very good. The warm bread was terrible. The steak was very fair at best. The service did not match a steak house level. Staff needs to be trained at a higher level.

The restaurant was overpriced. The server was either too busy to take care of our table or complacent enough to know that he would get a tip regardless of the attention our table received. The one pound potato was more like a 1/4 lb. and when it showed up, it did not melt the butter. The red trout was so overcooked that the topping created a crust. The only thing different I would have done is complained right then, especially since the cost of the fish was outrageous. The steak was overcooked and the waiter brought my glass of champagne and brought the bottle of wine prior to bringing my husband's glass of champagne. It was really a very expensive meal for low quality food and service. I really would not recommend this place to anyone.

It was good, food was a little different but still tasty! Joel was phenomenal, he was attentive and knowledgeable! Couldn't of had a better waiter! We didn't know what we wanted so we asked for his advice on what to get and he gave details about the food that left my mouth watering. Overall it was a great experience, would recommend!!

My wife, two kids and I were skiing at Canyons for a few days and wanted a decent meal at a good price. We'd already had a few meals at pricier restaurants in Pk City and wanted something a bit scaled back I hadn't heard of Myrtle Rose but after reviewing the menu online I thought we'd give it a try. It was AWESOME! Great variety on the menu. My 11 yr. old ordered the Mac & Cheese while I had the Maryland crab cakes, my son had the chicken and biscuits and wife enjoyed a unique acorn squash dish. We all loved our food! Dessert was great too. The real surprise and was our server Joel. He was terrific! We could tell from the beginning that he is a "foodie" at heart and would recommend slight tweaks to dishes based on our preferences. Joel made the meal experience extra special. We highly recommend Myrtle Rose!

Food quality rates right up there with better known "steak houses"Picked a good night to go. Was seated in quiet booth, our server was attentive and pleasant. Been to all of the other steak places in PC and would recommend Myrtle Rose over most of them.

Myrtle Rose provides a relaxed but elegant atmosphere for people who would rather not dine in a sports bar, microbrewery, or family restaurant. It's a nice reprieve from the crowded, louder options that are readily available at Kimball Jct.

Very slow service. The restaurant seems to be part of a second one next door, called Maxwells. Should have know we picked the wrong side when we walked in...Maxwells was packed and had a waiting list to get in, Myrtle's was empty, no dinners? A few people at the bar waiting for a table to open at Maxwells. Save yourself the inadequate experience of Myrtle's and go to Maxwells instead.

This restaurant has a good vibe and lots of potential. Unfortunately there is a lot of incompetence of staff and management.
It seemed like there were sufficient amount of staff but poorly utilized. Everything seemed disorganized and things went wrong on all the tables around us.
Besides the service shortfall, it was alright. The food was decent and the prices seemed fair. Nothing outstanding but good.

Our second time, and unfortunately much worse. The steaks we good but the side dishes were served cold. Really hard to justify the Ruth's Chris price for Carl's Jr. service. I can't place all the blame on the servers. Only 2 servers for the entire restaurant on New Year's Eve, plus a bus boy who couldn't even refill a glass of water. I cannot remember the last time I was served water with no ice.
