Myron's Prime Steak House
🤢🤢🤢This was the second chance we gave eating a Myron’s in 4 months and again all our meals were terrible but 1 persons. Would not recommend and diffentley is not worth the pricey meals.
Josh is the best bartender in town. Attentive, remembers your preferences for food & drink. They manager is SUPER accommodating and they appreciate your patronage. We love the staff here.
Great steaks and lobster, great service, looking forward to going back and trying the king crab legs.
We used to live in NB and frequented Myron’s...we were back for a visit and it did not disappoint!! Wait staff even remembered us!!! Yes it is pricey..but a nice special occasion place...
Great good as always and service was great as well.
The Chateaubriand was delightful. They have a good wine selection as well. I really like the privacy their layout offers to each table.
Great food and great atmosphere with outstanding service
Excellent food, a bit priceier that than a Ruth Chris Steakhouse. Make sure you get the Shrimp Myron it’s amazing.
Great food and atmosphere ((pricey, but worth it for the quality)).
We were waited on by Lyric and she was very personable and attentive.
Very enjoyable. Quiet, great, "professional" service. Outstanding beef and salmon. Easily the best steaks without going to San Antonio or Austin. An enormous wine list. Our 3rd visit. Not a place you every day or every week. Prices are upscale, but a very good value.
We made reservations for NYE dinner with another couple. We have been to this location before with mixed reviews,
Our waiter brought us our wine and when he went to open it, a quarter of it spilled on the table and partially on my spouse. No worries, accidents happen, but I had to pay for wine that was soaked up into the tablecloth. All of the food came out together and looked great, however my medium rare large filet was well done. It’s my own fault for not sending it back, but I didn’t want to hold up dinner for everyone else. I guess that’s my fault, but it was just a tough hockey puck of a filet.
Besides the wine and the steak, it was a nice expensive dinner. We are unsure if we will be back to change our minds and chalk it up to it being NYE and busy or if it is just hit or miss.
Our New Year’s Eve dinner was excellent! The food and service were outstanding! The only complaint was that the four of us we were a little cramped in our booth.
Four couples in our group had a tremendous meal, great service, and an overall excellent time spending our New Year’s eve meal at Myron’s steakhouse. I would recommend it again and again
Best place in town for special occasions and excellent steaks.
Good steak cooked perfectly, but did not like the atmosphere, seemed old and musty, good steak but pricey for sure, but that was to be expected, all items are ala cart.
Since it was 3:30 pm, we were some of the only diners there. The food was awesome. I had a chocolate martini which was delicious.
Steak was sub-par for $40 and $10 baked potato was cold . Not worth $300 for dinner of four.
Everything was nice. Only issue was with the tuna. It was full of cartilage. Also very cold. Steaks, sides and drinks, however, were delicious.
Great food and great service!
This place is spot on every time. 👍
For a great dinner with that special someone, or a wonderful atmosphere to entertain customers.
Always a great experience when we have Stephen as o
Great service, food was excellent would come back next year a little pricey but was good
Wonderful for birthdays, anniversaries, and Mother's Day. My husband fell off a curb across the street coming to Myron's for his 73rd birthday celebrations. The management took good care of him with his very injured nose and found a radiologist in house that examined him, marvelous Dr. Swearingen. Despite his injuries, he still enjoyed his steak dinner.
Good quality food in a quiet but overly dark environment. Second time my wife and I have eaten at Myron's Steak House. The biggest down side is VERY limited parking.
Great service and the food was outstanding. Wes was a fantastic server.
Steven & Mason made our 31 anniversary a great occasion along with the excellent food as always!!
Pros: Easy parking. 5 minute wait to be shown to requested booth (which could have been 30 seconds. See below). Good menu choices. Great cocktails. Ordered surf & turf and salad and sides. Best steak we have had in ages. Extra touches like waiter cracking and removing meat from crab legs table side. Service was good.
Cons: Warm bread was served that was a day old and tasted of grocery aisle hoagie rolls. Expected far better given how good the other foods were. Hostess was absent when we arrived - but the owner was at the podium. Still, he had us wait tapping our feet until the young woman came back from other duties. About 5 minutes. Menus had finger stains from previous diners.
Other diners were dressed VERY casually. No dress code to speak of.
Will go back, but with lower expectations.
Our server Wes was professional and fun. He gave us some history of the restaurant and it’s location. All servers should know more about the building and it’s unique background.
Outstanding as usual. Thank you
Myron's was so accommodating. I mistakenly put "4 people" for our reservation instead of "5 people." The host said they were completely full, but they found us a table. The food was great and our steaks were perfectly cooked. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.
You must get the bourbon bacon scallops appetizer. They are to die for! Love this place. Great food!
We had been wanting to try Myrons for quite some time and after finally making the time, we were unfortunately not very impressed. The building smelled like mildew. The wine and water glasses were dirty and old. My wife literally cleaned them in front of the waiting staff who did nothing about it. The steak was just ok... When you spend $300 on dinner you expect the steak to have good flavor and premium cut. The food lacked flavor and didn't seem fresh. The lobster had an unusual fishy taste. I don't get to take my wife out to a nice dinner due to schedule as often as I would like, and I won't be going back to Myron's the next time I do.
Great food, excellent service. Good value for a great steak and wine.
It was our first visit. We both had steak. It was unbelievable. The sides were good too. Price is up there so if you go with another couple, split the bill.
Myron’s is always amazing!
We had a reservation @6, got there early and we were seated immediately. The wait staff was attentive without hovering over us. I had the Ahi Tuna, the menu said it was medallions but it was a good sized steak. My friend had the filet and shrimp, he said it was perfectly cooked and delicious. While everything was pricey, it was worth every penny. Will definitely be going back.
Our steak was over cooked. Other than that the food was good but not outstanding.
Top quality. Our favorite New Braunfels restaurant
Salads are horrible. Dressing nasty. Steak no taste
