Myron's Prime Steak House
Side dishes were fantastic, Brussel Sprouts augratin, and Jalapeno mac n cheese, While both steaks were Good... My MR was more Medium... Deserts were delicious. The young man who was our server was Great. sorry cant remember his name.
We went to celebrate our anniversary and had a delightful time! Food was outstanding, prices were worth the food, service was great!
My favorite steakhouse in Texas, I recommend it to everyone
The food was delicious, especially the filet. It's a beautiful restaurant, very intimate with a lot of character left over from the old theater. Staff was very helpful and polite.
Didn't live up to expectations based on previous visits. Sat in a different part of restaurant, kinda blah. Food is good, but over priced. Can't recommend it based on this last visit.
Overall, a great experience on our 18th anniversary. Here are some opportunities that should be considered:
1. Establishment needs a makeover. Curtains and paint need to be updated. It currently reflects a mid 90s, early 2000 steakhouse vs. a 2018 steakhouse.
2. Flow of restaurant is not conducive to egress. You have to enter the bar area and leave the bar if your table is to the left of host/hostess station. Open space concept should be examined.
3. Host/hostess station should pre-plan with logistics for those celebrating anniversaries. We were seated at a four top and was surrounded by a ten top of males who were slightly loud and belligerent. Next time, staff should group anniversaries together in one section, birthdays in one section, and all others without reservations intermixed.
4. Dress code should be encouraged. No flip-flops, shorts, or T-shirts allowed. Collared shirt should be the minimum requirement. If reservations are encouraged, why not a dress code?
4. Other than that, Steven was exceptional! He was well versed with the specials a d outgoing. We took advantage of one of the specials and it was phenomenal.
Food was amazing and the service excellent, will come again
My wife and I received a gift certificate for Myron's. We went to celebrate our birthdays. We don't eat a lot of beef but we decided on the 28oz Tbone and split it along with 2 sides. The food was excellent, the best steak I've ever eaten and the sides were just as great. The place is quiet and we really enjoyed ourselves. Our waiter Steven Nichols was fantastic, very efficient and made sure we had everything we needed. We will be going again soon and taking our boys and their wives.
Always enjoy the special treat of dining at Myron’s
Hard to see menu! No children’s menu!
Jacob was a fantastic server! We had a wonderful meal!
The food was just ok. It was not what I was expecting from a Steakhouse (Restaurant) of this caliber. My steak had the texture of a $7.00 aged steak, verry tough for a rib eye. The Lobster was just okay. My wife liked the quail, the stuffed tomatoes I liked she thought they disappointing. The bread was great when we got it hot. The first loaf was brought out to us at room temp.
One of the best steaks were ever had! Creme brulee was great. Love going there!
Myron's never fails to impress in food, ambiance, and service. Our meals are always enjoyable. We took our NYC friend there on Monday and the food was, as expected, superb. Wes, the server, was attentive, but not intrusive. Just right. Everything was perfect until about 2/3 of the way through our meal when a table of 6 or 8 was seated right next to our cozy booth. Until we left we had to strain to hear each other speak. They were that loud. Not just "energetic" as mentioned above: Boisterous. Definitely put a damper on what had been a really enjoyable meal and visit. My usual karma is that a family with at least one screaming child is always seated next to us. I guess karma decided to switch it up that night.
We started with an Old Fashion, and escargot. Both were great. We shared a steak and each got a wedge salad. I twas plenty of food. We got the jalapeño Mac and cheese for a side and it was amazing.
Very nice waiter, and staff was attentive.
The food was awesome but our service was not very good. I’ve eaten at this location before with the same results. San Antonio location is so much better.
Great food! Best steak we have ever had. Quiet, elegant, and great service.
Wonderful dining experience. Waiter was attentive but maintained distance to give privacy. Excellent scallops and ribeye!
The table we were sat at had dirty linens from the previous guests. The server was nice, but not very experienced and appeared to be too busy to give the service we expected. The food was all very good, but one steak was ordered medium rare and arrived medium well.
We had a wonderful meal with a great atmosphere. Came away extremely satisfied.
First time there, it was Great. will definitely be back.
As usual, the cuisine was exceptional. The one thing I will say is the waiter needed to be a little more personable. It seemed when he found out one of us did not drink it seemed he became a little aloof [maybe just my perception].
Took my wife here for her birthday. We were coming to the area for a short getaway and found Myron's. The atmosphere was great, service was very good and the food was delicious. The food I thought was a little pricey for the meals we got, but would still come back ag as in.
The food is always a treat. Comfort food side dishes that are amazing. The steaks are always done to perfection. The wait staff is attentive and charming.
Excellent steaks & service! A great birthday dinner for my husband!
Steak was tuff, and I believe the cheesecake was spoiled.
got very hill ,It had to be the cake ,my husband din"t get sick ,he din"t have dessert.
For the money ? not a good value ,had better steaks and probably for less
This is the second time we have been here. It is a wonderful place, great service, and the food has always been top notch. It is expensive but if you are looking for the perfect dining experience that is both memorable and exquisite, this place will definitely fit the bill! It was a tad noisy this time around but it was a specific table that was loud and rambunctious and we do not hold that against the establishment...rather, it was rude people that were selfish and caused other diners to miss out on the perfect dining experience because of their noise level. Aside from that situation, everything else was completely perfect. Highly recommend the establishment for anyone that is wishing to create a wonderful dining memory with those you love and care about.
My wife and I both went there for the first time loved everything We ate.
Outstanding as usual
Food was amazing. Restaurant was a little bit noisy, but overall the whole experience was great.
Food was delicious, service not up to par with our particular Waiter, but will go back again.
We celebrated our 54th wedding anniversary wanted someplace special and Myrons was our choice. It was a bit too noisy but the château Briand was delicious.
I always get the pork chops. Best I've ever had. Always have one to take home as they are huge. My husband had filet and garlic shrimp. He enjoyed it. They brought a piece of cakevwith candles to halo celebrate our anniversary.
Parts of the restaurant are quite romantic. I found out on this trip that other parts are not. The dining room we were seated in was akin to a ballroom at Holiday Inn. Aside from that, everything was flawless. Just as it should be at the price range. It's not inexpensive, nor outrageous. Overall, a fair value.
My husband & I decided to try Myron’s for our anniversary dinner. We are new to the area so we wanted to try something local. We both enjoy steak which was the best part of the meal. The steak was cooked to perfection and was delicious, however, the presentation of the steak on the plate was lacking making me apprehensive to trust it was good. Basically they slapped it on a plate and served it. No garnish, butter, nothing with it. To start we were served a slab of iceberg lettuce with vinaigrette poured on it. Really?! The chef couldn’t put together a seasonal salad with greens and maybe a few tomatoes or something? Disappointing. For a side we chose broccoli and it came just as it said...steamed. The broccoli still had bite to it so this was good. To end the meal, we had creme brûlée which was delicious and garnished properly with fresh berries and mint. For the prices they charge it’s not worth the money though.
This is the second time we have visited Myrons. Food is excellent, and all fresh and scratch cooked. The Steaks are very good, offering a bone in filet, delicious. We also love the wine selections. It's always nice to have a few Amarone's to choose from. The bread and butter given is delicious, and the butter is salted perfectly. The soups, were spot on (French onion and roasted poblano chowder. The Scallops, spot on. The Salads were very nice, love the fresh cracked pepper. Steaks were a perfect rare!!! Thanks, thats ofter over cooked. The sides, Baked potato (Mine and it was great!!), Garlic mash which was very very good, almost a french mash. Green beens were very nice. The Asparagus was good, the hollandaise was ok, I like mine with the lemony zing, and a touch of salt. Was it a bad hollandaise, no, just not great. We finished with creme burette, also nice with hints of vanilla bean..
Will I eat here again, Yes. The atmosphere is really nice and quiet and low key. We had a great time and were very fat and happy when leaving. Thanks for the great meal and experience.
First time here. Very disappointed. Restaurant was so dark we had to get our phones out to read the menu. Our Steaks were overdone and chicken had no seasoning. Chocolate cake was extremely dry. Waiter was wonderful though and wine was good.
6oz filet with crab cake, steak was great crab cake was very low in quality very little crab this raised the price by $12. Then the waiter encouraged us to take home chocolate cake for my birthday tenting it was a gift. Once home I realized we were charged $10 for the cake. Dinner for two with one cocktail each and one glass of wine each with the “free” cake and tip $218. I wouldn’t be so upset had the crab cake actually had some crab in it.
The steaks at Myron’s are top notch! Both my husband and I dined on medium rare filets cooked to literal perfection and my lobster tail was succulent, tender and delicious. For dessert, we enjoyed the best bread pudding imaginable. The service was outstanding and the ambiance was relaxed and warm. We will definitely be back!
The food and service at Myron's is always impeccable.
