Myron's at Alon Town Center Ratings and Reviews
Service was good until we had to wait a good 5 minutes for wine after our meal was served.
Cesar salad was better than most, but not exceptional.
Filet and T-bone were good, but again not exceptional.
I thought the Myron's in New Braunfels and J-Prime were better,
When we spend a couple of hundred bucks on a 2 person meal, with one glass of wine, we expect it to be exceptional all around.
Have been here more than once...great experience every Tim. Food is outstanding...nicely prepared...nice sized portions! I had the rack of lamb...my wife, the filet topped with shrimp. Our server, Elizabeth, was knowledgeable...warm...and efficient! Love this place!
The atmosphere is lacking and for the cost I would expect a higher standard of service,ie. waiter/host to pull chair for female and place napkin in lap.
The steak was tender, yet lacked flavor. The Mac and cheese is a must. The red snapper was fishy smelling.
For us, we will stick with some of the other steak restaurants at the same price point.
Great Experience! French onion soup was phenomenal! A little too much marbling in the steak for my liking, but still cooked to perfection. Jalapeño mac n cheese was so tasty as well. Great service and very professional. Highly recommend for special occasions. It can get pricey, but worth it.
The play got over sooner than we expected so we were about an hour early for our reservation. But the bar was open and it was happy hour so we did not mind a bit. I had the flirtini and it was awesome.
It didn't seem like that long before the maitre d' escorted us to our table. There was plenty of room and we were comfortable. We ordered everything from filet mignon to scallops to crab and it was all excellent.
Very nice place.
Great restaurant! Service was prompt and very knowledgeable of the menu. Our waiter was very attentive.
The food was very good! The filet was cooked to perfection. We also ordered the pork chops which were to die for. Super tender and flavorful. The shrimp Myron was also exceptional.
I highly recommend this restaurant!
Patrick, the manager, took us to our table and a bottle of Blue Eyed Boy Shiraz was on the table. Our server, Vanessa, was very informative about the specials. She provided great service and checked on us throughout the meal. The filets were like butter with great sides. Great evening.
I really do like this place but the last two times I have been there I feel that I am being served a steak that is subpar (a bit toothy). I believe that Myrons needs to take a look at the quality of steak it is getting from it's purveyor, not bad but really for the money it could be better.
From the first hello at the door to the final goodbye, the staff's attention was impressive! Our server, Gus, was extremely courteous, efficient and helpful with suggestions. We were celebrating a birthday, so we received a complimentary chocolate cake that was so enormous that even with two sharing, we brought half home and enjoyed it the next day--it was spectacular. The filet, on the other hand, although cooked perfectly to order, was somewhat lacking in flavor as were our shrimp. They weren't bad--merely bland, and for the price, that was a disappointment. We split an enormous baked potato and enjoyed every bite of that. We will be back, but hope the food is as good as the ambiance and service next time.
