Myron's at Alon Town Center Ratings and Reviews
Great evening, John the waiter did an outstanding job. Since Myron's had provided us one entre on the house the expense was tolerable. Proper seating minimized the noise . The food was excellent. We've been here before and the restaurant keeps getting better & better each time.
The steak here is absolutely phenomenal. I tried both the Kansas City Strip and the Filet (cooked medium well). Both cuts were juicy and had great flavor. It isn't often that I don't need to add steak sauce to restaurant steaks. Myron's is definitely on the "short list" and I would recommend this restaurant for any steak-lovers out there.
We went to Myron’s for Valentines Day. We waited for a server for too long, but once he introduced himself, he was good. The food was expensive and way too rich - everything tasted like it was doused in butter. Decent time but we will not be back. Over $200 bill and we didn’t splurge!
This was our first time to Myron’s, but it definitely won’t be the last! We both left saying it is our new favorite restaurant and can’t wait to go back for the Shrimp Myron. The bread pudding was to die for and the cheesecake was in a class by itself.
In addition to the delicious food, we can’t say enough good things about the entire staff. This is definitely a gem in the San Antonio food scene!!
I am a Myrons fan and have been there MANY times and for whatever reason, it was not up to par this night. My Bone in Ribeye and my wife's filet came out over cooked, dry and tasteless. Upon telling the Server, he said it was because there was no to little fat????
What the heck happened Myrons...do disappointed.
Well the service was awesome... The servers were very polite but I had to crack some jokes Cuz I wanted smiles all the time... When the talked to us they smiled and looked happy but when they waited in their corners they looked like secret service agents lol... the cut of beef was great! Only problem was it was lacking spices, I thought it was just me but my wife thought the same.... She must've gotten used to my steaks... The price was high but I enjoyed the service lol the one guy offered to show me to the bathroom lol told him I'm a big boy just point me the way! Lol but the service was great! Food was okay but I would go here again though
Not inexpensive by any means, but the food was very good and the service was excellent. Not one of those places that makes up for unimaginative cooking by having enormous and wasteful (waistfull) portions. A number of unusual, creative cocktails and a very adequate wine list. Knowledgeable, attentive and pleasant server.
My husband ordered a NY strip that was full of grissel. I don’t know why he didn’t send it back. It’s the second time one of us disliked our steak. Could it be the provider is not a top Texas purveyor? The rest of our party enjoyed their meal. Guess we won’t return any time soon. Too bad. We never had a bad meal in New Braunfels.
It was awesome! Went for my daughter's BMT graduation. She was so impressed on how Jacob shelled her crab for her, she gave him an extra $10 tip. The scene is dark, so you may have to use your cell phone flashlight to read the menu, but it was still a great experience. The waiters and everyone was very attentive and appeared to enjoy their jobs!! This place is not for children! Or at least its only for very well-manner children. They do not have a children's menu, but they do cather to well-mannered kids, like giving you and extra plate to share food and a cup with lid and straw. But this place is very quiet, very romantic and for those special occasions. Please, please do not bring loud or children who tend to cry.
We made reservations which is highly recommended. But we got there just as they where opening, so there wasnt a wait.
The food was delicious. The steak was very tendered. Even when I took some home and reheated it later..it was still tender. If I lived in Texas, I would definitely go again!
