Myron's at Alon Town Center Ratings and Reviews
Great Experience! French onion soup was phenomenal! A little too much marbling in the steak for my liking, but still cooked to perfection. Jalapeño mac n cheese was so tasty as well. Great service and very professional. Highly recommend for special occasions. It can get pricey, but worth it.
The play got over sooner than we expected so we were about an hour early for our reservation. But the bar was open and it was happy hour so we did not mind a bit. I had the flirtini and it was awesome.
It didn't seem like that long before the maitre d' escorted us to our table. There was plenty of room and we were comfortable. We ordered everything from filet mignon to scallops to crab and it was all excellent.
Very nice place.
Great restaurant! Service was prompt and very knowledgeable of the menu. Our waiter was very attentive.
The food was very good! The filet was cooked to perfection. We also ordered the pork chops which were to die for. Super tender and flavorful. The shrimp Myron was also exceptional.
I highly recommend this restaurant!
Patrick, the manager, took us to our table and a bottle of Blue Eyed Boy Shiraz was on the table. Our server, Vanessa, was very informative about the specials. She provided great service and checked on us throughout the meal. The filets were like butter with great sides. Great evening.
I really do like this place but the last two times I have been there I feel that I am being served a steak that is subpar (a bit toothy). I believe that Myrons needs to take a look at the quality of steak it is getting from it's purveyor, not bad but really for the money it could be better.
From the first hello at the door to the final goodbye, the staff's attention was impressive! Our server, Gus, was extremely courteous, efficient and helpful with suggestions. We were celebrating a birthday, so we received a complimentary chocolate cake that was so enormous that even with two sharing, we brought half home and enjoyed it the next day--it was spectacular. The filet, on the other hand, although cooked perfectly to order, was somewhat lacking in flavor as were our shrimp. They weren't bad--merely bland, and for the price, that was a disappointment. We split an enormous baked potato and enjoyed every bite of that. We will be back, but hope the food is as good as the ambiance and service next time.
Food was great, only issue was water was spilled when glass was knocked over by waitstaff. The service after the spill was good, but the glass was knocked over right when we got our salads but since we switch tables due to the water all over the table we didn’t get our salads :( other than that food was great, little pricey but worth it!
Great service - just formal enough but also down to earth. Husband had scallops and I had the Salmon- both fabulous. The Potatoes Myronnaise are usually absolutely wonderful but this night, they were not so great. Our waiter quickly replaced them with potatoes au gratin. Fresh spinach was delicious. Yum, yum.
While visiting my daughter in San Antonio we wanted to take them out to a nice restaurant. Myron’s exceeded our expectations. The food was amazing, melt in your mouth steak and lamb. Great service, Charlie was such a gentleman and very charming. Just what we needed for a wonderful night! Thank you!
We visited Myron's for our anniversary and it was wonderful. Steven provided excellent service and the food was outstanding. This is a perfect place for a celebration or just a nice evening out. My husband and I both had the Filet, cooked perfectly and very tasty. The garlic mashed potatoes were a good side dish choice. I highly recommend Myron's!
Very nice steak place. Date nite for my wife and I. The bone in filet was cooked to perfection at medium rare, same for my wife's ribeye. Chris provided for exceptional service, not overbearing, but right there when needed. Great recommendations and honest on particular topics. My only complaint is the lack of a corkage fee for bringing in my own wine. When I called earlier to check I was told that it was a state of Texas thing for restaurants with a full service bar, however, there are other restaurants that allow it. I do understand that at 2.5-3x retail it drives a good deal of profit, but allowing for clients with cellars, even if it was only 1 or 2 bottles and all others off their wine list, would make for better customer service.
Server was very good and made our dining experience a great experience. My steak had a very strange almost game taste and was surprisingly tuff and cooked med well when I order med. The sides we're very good. Waiter did offer to give me somethings else in which I received when my husband was done eating. I ordered pork chops which had a great flavor but again a little tuff. The waiter was very accommodating. I was disappointed that a manger didn't come over to recognize that I had food I was unhappy with and was very surprised that nothing was offered to me for my food I didn't like and the fact I ate dinner by myself. The server was very pleasant and I would recommend him
