It is with great sadness that I let you know that Myriad will not be coming back to the block this time.
I have enjoyed my time as owner and chef, chief in charge of all things fun and ambassador of joy to our amazing regulars who became family to us these last six years.
I cannot express how much all of your support for the past almost six years and particularly this past year has meant to me. I am beyond grateful, for the joy and fun you all brought to me and my team at Myriad, the support you showed for my small business and my team and for the really wonderful interactions I have had with all of you.
Thank you to my staff-couldn’t have done it without all of you. I love you all. Thank you to my investors- it all started with you. Thank you to my family-blood and chosen-you lift me up and keep me strong. Thank you to my community neighbors- I was blessed to be in your company.

Nice spot right in the heart of the mission. Beer and wine list only. The shashushka was super delish!
So happy this neighborhood gem is open with outdoor seating. Great brunch bites, drinks and beer selection. Service with a smile! Go here, book ahead and get to enjoy the ambiance of the Mission while eating some delish food.
Food was fine. The wait was absurd. We waited 90 minutes for our food.
An easy place to gather with friends
We really enjoyed our meal, but wish the appetizer nibble we ordered (the seasoned popcorn - awesome!) had come a little sooner (like with the beer), rather than just seconds before we got our mains.
Still, the food was plentiful and delicious, and a reasonably good value.
Also, just a little annoyed that they separate out the SF mandate as a 5% surcharge (taxable, too) instead of just rolling it into the total menu price (which is allowed). That lets them keep the menu prices looking lower than they really are.
Food and service were very good. Located in the heart of a fun area of the City, I would definitely return here and recommend the place to others.
Overall good stuff during restaurant week. Deviled egg was delicious.
Host never smiled or said hello when I first checked in. Service was a bit slow but he was very nice. Had the goat cheese biscuits and Challah french toast. Both were a bit dry for my liking but the lamb sandwich was awesome. I would go back and try some of their other dishes.
Great service and tasty food. Thank you!
Went for lunch. Menu is varied. Had the grits and they were perfect - butternut squash, mushrooms, kale, peas and fresh corn on creamy grits in a little cast iron pan. So good. Little bit of Portland in SF. Really good food and will be back for more. Parking available two blocks away on 21st. Nice!
All plates were delicious and served to temp. Myriad’s brunch continues to be among the best in the city.
Our waiter was very attentive, the food was delicious and presented nicely. Will definitely be back!
Myriad always delivers - such a pleasant place for brunch or supper and food is always delicious.
Great neighborhood Gem!
Everything was great. Food, ambiance, service. We'll be back.
Poor ventilation, we left smelling like food
Lovely team made us feel super welcome with rambunctious 2 year old. Very tasty food. Just a super cozy experience all around.
Great service and very accommodating for gluten free options. Thank you for taking care of us!
Nice assortment of dishes - both small and large plantes and great desserts. Service was good as well.
I highly recommmend Myriad Gastropub.
Was really good food but just nothing exceptional. Service was great—booze float for dessert hit the spot. Was just a little pricey for what is pretty typical mission fare.
Good food served by friendly, considerate and competent people. Casual and pleasant atmosphere.
Just a solid place to go to for lunch/brunch. Service was great. Food awesome. No complaints
The food was great and the staff were friendly and didn’t make us feel rushed. I was a little surprised at how quiet it was. On the plus side it made it not noisy but it made it lack a little in atmosphere. I hope other nights it is busier, it deserves to be!
We were in the Mission and trusted our fellow Yelpers. The food was outstanding. From the grilled peaches with goat cheese and hazelnut to the cochinita pibil. All really really good. Moderate SF prices and a little noisy, but the food and the outrageously good service made it a great meal. We absolutely recommend going!!!
I have no idea why this place isn't busier for brunch! The food is excellent, particularly the cheesy grits with petite vegetables (topped with a perfectly poached egg). Great coffee, great service, a smaller menu that still has something for everyone. Most importantly, for any and all New Jersey transplants, THEY HAVE TAYLOR HAM*. They slice it thinly and fry it until it's a bit crisp and it is magical. This is my favorite place to go for brunch, lunch, or dinner pre-movie at Alamo.
* Taylor ham, aka pork roll, it somewhere between Canadian bacon and spam, and it is delicious.
Amazing service and food! Atmosphere is casual but everything else is superb. My friend and I enjoyed the deviled eggs, peaches with goat cheese, braised pork with pappardelle pasta, arugula salad and almond butter cake on coconut milk.
My first impression when I walked in was not the greatest and that is the reason I will most likely not return. The hostess didn't greet me. He only looked at me over his reading glasses and he then reacted when I greeted him. That alone made me feel unwelcome and was hoping the food would make up for it. The food was ok and the service was good until it became busy. We had to wait for our check a good 20 minutes.
Evening Adrian, Thank you for taking your time to give us your feed back. I am so sorry that you felt unwelcomed here and that your experience was not what it should have been. We certainly never want that to be the case. I have shared your feed back with my staff and we will of course strive to do better. We always want to give our customers a warm and friendly experience with delicious food and proper service. Sincerely Trish Tracey chef/owner Myriad Gastropub
I had a solo birthday dining experience and had a wonderful time eating the food here. I love the $6 happy hour menu. There is nothing I would change except one small thing. In the great shrimp and grits I would use some of the Louisiana sausage meat crumbled atop the grits to provide a little texture.
A nice hidden gem. Hard to call it a Gastropub since there isn't that big of a beer selection. The IPA I got was good though. The surrounding area isn't the best, but this place stands out as being much nicer. The atmosphere was nice and I will definitely be coming back
We were a party of four. Three of us had the salmon, one had the veggie skillet. Excellent meal all round. Our wait staff was wonderful and attentive. We’ll definitely return.
What a great spot! Great menu with classic options but interesting options for foodies. My soup was to die for and my friends all scarfed their burgers. Homemade Lemonades and ginger soda made to order was a nice touch and dessert is worth the calories - the ricotta cades and dulce de leche cake was to die for.
Absolutely loved the food, our server, and the chef/owner. Loved the home vibe. Will definitely be back. Food was incredible.
This is one of those places that I don't want to yelp about because then everyone knows it's good. I have tried almost everything on their menu and nothing fails. Their wine list is fantastic and the service is great. I especially love the bartender. I forget her name, but she really is the best.
The food was very bland.
Hi Zach, I just wanted to reach out to say how sorry I am that you had such a negative experience with us at Myriad. I certainly take your review to heart and will work with my kitchen crew on our seasoning and consistency. I appreciate your feedback and will follow through with my team. Trish Tracey Chef/owner Myriad Gastropub
The food was fine, but nothing even remotely special. The prices are nowhere close to worth it for the food, at least not for the brunch my friends and I had.
Mediocre experience. Would not recommend.
I have eaten here several times, usually with friends, sometimes alone, and each time the dining experience is exquisite. The food is outstanding, the cocktails and wine wonderful, and it is obvious that a lot of care is taken in preparation, presentation, and service. I have dined here with friends ranging from their 20s to their 70s and each time the experience was so good for them, that they returned with other friends. Good for brunch, good for lunch, good for dinner. The only complaint I have is that the noise level is fairly high.
We have been to Myriad a few times, and really like the food and the relative value, although in the past the desserts were not on par with the main courses. This time around, although my salmon was expertly done, the sauce the salmon sat in was way too salty. My husband's steak, although flavorful, was very rare rather than medium rare. As usual, the lamb sandwich was terrific. Dessert, other than the butter- scotch pudding, was pretty meh -- the chocolate cake was pretty but dry, and the time before, the dulce de leche dessert which was very sweet without much other dimension. The noise level was deafening, so much so that we switched places so we did not have to talk cross table to our dinner companions; that only sort of helped. Overall, some of the dishes are excellent and worth sticking with - the lamb sandwich, the parpardelle pasta with pork cheek , the cochinita pibil. We may have had an off night for the steak and the salmon. I'd go back again, maybe on a less crowded night .
Here's the deal. I go to a restaurant to eat. If I walk out hungry and have to go home and have a sandwich then I haven't had a good experience, which is a word the restaurant industry likes to use instead of marketing good food at a reasonable price. Gastropub charged $63 (not including tip) for two glasses of wine and to lunch meals (no appetizers). Call me old fashioned, but for that kind of money, I expect to have my hunger satisfied.
We had a group of 8 for brunch at 12 noon for my wife's birthday. I liked the fact that we could actually make a reservation for a large group. The restuarant was pretty big for the city so they actually could have accommodated a larger group. The hostess was great they allowed us to store some birthday cupcakes the food was good and not overly priced and the location is very convenient, close to BART and MUNI.
The hostess was frustrating to deal with - she didn't seem to understand that I had a reservation or what my name was, then kept making silly mistakes. We wished we could have tipped the very nice man who brought our food and not the waitress/hostess.
I was very impressed with every dish and the service. Deviled eggs, crispy Brussels, chicken liver pate, and the Mexican braised pork dish were all great. Not so impressed by the cocktails but the beer selection is solid. Seriously a great restaurant.
