Great place but the food was just ok
Disappointing for all the hype. Everything lacked seasoning except chili dishes. Some strange flavours too. Maybe just not my cup of tea. Average wine is overpriced. Way too noisy and congested.
Got stood up for a business meeting there, so had to eat for two. Service was slow, but friendly. Waited fairly long to get noticed. The place was packed after one. Interesting menu, but food is nothing special. The pork belly buns were good, the Indonesian rice dish was very good, but my drink tested like it was watered down - have no point of reference to judge what they had in mind. For fusion food I’ve had much better meals, but if you want something unusual or want to share with your friends than this place is good. It’s an upgraded dining experience overall
Menu has changed - more limited selection. Our last dish did not arrive for an hour - by that time we were all finished and asked to cancel it but it materialised.....the waitress offered to box it but we were leaving the next day so couldn't do that so most of it was wasted. Quite disappointed in that. The food just did not seem to have the same zip that it used to so we are a bit disappointed.....
Food was outstanding as usual. We did end up ordering way too much food, even after asking the server about the portion sizes for the items we selected.
Way too noisy for any kind of conversation. Not enough side dish options. Service was good, but obviously trying to hustle us out.
So much food! They recommend 2-3 dishes per person but I'd recommend starting with less. Lots of great vegetarian options. Drinks and dessert are ok; the focus is on the food. Some dishes were light on flavor. Going the many dishes route also makes for an expensive meal. Service was great and the ambience is fun as well.
It was great!!! The service and the food are amazing.
This was delicious. The staff were super helpful and friendly, and I enjoyed everything I ate or drank immensely.
Outstanding service, friendly staff. Interesting and delicious food.
The food was SO good, and there were choices for vegetarians. The service was a little
lively atmosphere, food was interesting and delicious,
The food was an incredible experience and our server, Sirae, made the occasion even more special. Run, don’t walk here, you will not regret it!
Lunch on Mother's Day. Service was great, food was delicious and imaginative, though a bit too oily (we had noodles, carrots, mussels) to our taste, but we'll be back. One notable quality: though the crowd was large and full of energy, it was easy to have a quiet conversation.
Took my mom in for Mother’s Day because I wanted to do something different from the typical buffets. So Dim Sum was perfect. The pork belly bao was great. Probably the best potstickers we’ve ever had. And words can’t describe how amazing the wild boar Dan Dan noodles were. Very nice place. Will definitely be returning
Everything about this meal was amazingly delicious!!!! Our waitress remembered us from a previous visit and even sent us over a dish she wanted us to try on the house!!!! The cocktails were delicious as well !!! We Love Myers and Chang!!!!!!
DELICIOUS! From start to finish. We loved everything we had (pineapple fried rice, egg banh mi, edamame dumplings, pork belly, pork dumplings, spring rolls, snap pea salad). All amazing! The service was also impeccable and everyone is super friendly. Cannot wait to go back.
Waited a while for table, then waited a while for food. But...food was exceptional
Server are professionals and top knotch
We (three) left the restaurant thinking the food was "interesting", which I believe is not necessarily a compliment.
The food was was tasty and creative, but it did not constitute a pleasant meal. The dishes that we ordered (six) did not have the feeling of a meal, rather a mix of dishes that did not blend well. (And I'm a fan of Turkish "meze" restaurants.)
The order in which the food was served was off putting. THe main dish came first, then later the veg dishes and later still, what we would have considered an appetizer, followed by our second "main dish."
The vegetable side dishes were excellent, btw.
THe waitress was borderline unpleasant - curt, unfriendly. The service was not attentive. We tried for the longest time to get a waitress's attention to decline dessert and get the bill, as we were bumping up against a 2 hr parking spot limit. There were many wait staff in the dining room, but no one was paying any attention to us.
Wait staff should be trained to guide first-time customers through the menu and through the ordering. And having the food served "as it comes out of the kitchen", in whatever order it happens to be, is not pleasant dining, since the menu offers a mix of appetizers, sides and main dishes.
Lastly, we wanted to come for an early lunch but the booking website showed no availability until 1:30. When we arrived at 1:30, there were numerous empty tables. Can you possibly tighten up your reservation system?
I took a friend to celebrate a special occasion. We shared the green papaya salad, green fried rice, and beef and broccoli. Loved the spicy salad and the marinade on beef. Hard to hear because of noise level. I would perhaps try to sit outside next time.
This was our first time here & the experience was wonderful. The hostess was very friendly & welcoming. Our server was great too because she really knew the food & helped us make some decisions. Food was very flavorful & delicious & portions were good. Can’t wait to come back.
We live the food and friendly environment
We loved Myers and Change:
They have a lot of menu options for people with dietary restrictions which was great!
I highly recommend the Pork and Pineapple rice dish, pork & chive dumplings, and ginger bok choy.
The service was a little slow but they also seemed pretty busy and the server was nice!
Great food and service. Can be very busy, make a reservation! Congrats to Karen who was recently named Beard Foundation Best Chef in the Northeast, she's earned it at M&C.
Really enjoyed our experience at Myers + Chang. Food was excellent. Staff was super friendly and extremely helpful. Concept was cool and execution of the concept is spot on. Great brunch spot, would love to check out the dinner as well!
We were greeted very warmly by a number of people who work there.
That was noticed and appreciated.
The food was very good; unique and very flavorful. I wish the dishes hadn’t come so quickly; next time we wouldn’t order everything at once.
I wasn’t that impressed with the table that we had; it was very close to the diners next to us and to the kitchen.
Overall we were happy with the service and the food.
Very cute spot, great for dates. Food was good but not amazing. Loved that they had a full seperate gluten free menu.
An amazing waitress, fun food, and great ambiance!!
The staff were sincere and very helpful with menu selections, & we did not feel rushed. It was an amazing experience to share each delicious plate of food. Can't wait to return!
This is the best restaurant in Boston ! Karen is the nicest and greatest chef !
Food was sublime!
Great food. Needs full liquor license.
It was a Birthday celebration. I had high expectations and was a little disappointed. We ordered about 10 different dishes and everything tasted the same. A little bland, greasy and spicy. Too bad! I was hoping for better. Next time!
We were a group of 7 celebrating a birthday with Dim Sum. Excellent food and service!
Amazing as always!
One of the four dishes was really good- the rest were edible, but definitely not good. Overpriced for the size and quality of the food, pretty bad service, tables are really cramped. This is the second time we've been there and both times they forgot one of the dishes we ordered. I understand the concept of small plates coming out as they're ready, but to eat a couple bites and then wait 15 minutes and then get a couple more bites and then wait 15 minutes again isn't really conducive to sharing plates with a date and enjoying a few different things that make up a cohesive meal.
Amazing food. The dishes were all outstanding. Mussels, green rice, papaya salad, every dish was better than the previous one.
service was fantastic.... the dim sum style brunch did not wow for the price and sizes of the dishes. We were a party of four and it was not
conveyed that the dumplings and other small items came in 3 pieces, we would of added an extra so we could all try.
