Earls Kitchen + Bar - Boston - Prudential Center
We are inspired by Taiwanese soul food and Southeast Asian street food, all done with a great deal of care. It is a personal, sometimes loose interpretation, to be sure, but our criteria are simple: everything we make must be fresh, delicious, and addictive. We are passionate about sharing our love of this food with you.
Lunch: Monday - Friday: 11:30am - 5:00pm;
Dinner: Sunday - Thursday 5:00pm - 10:00pm
Friday + Saturday: 5:00pm - 11:00pm
We do NOT recommend parking in the lot directly across East Berkeley Street, as cars have been towed.
Cheap Date Night Menus Mon & Tues 5:00-10pm. Dinner for 2...$45!!!
Vibrant and bustling atmosphere...the open kitchen churns out endless small plates with stunning depth of flavor and real personality. Not to be missed.
This restaurant was a lot of fun; it has a great vibe and delicious cocktails. The food was just okay. My husband loved his choices, but mine were mediocre at best. Some were just not good at all. Service was friendly and helpful.
Liked it very much. Energetic vibe there. Is it quite worth the prices they charge for the food and the wines? Don't think so.
Was very excited for this meal, but food was very disappointing. Flavor is supposed to fusion, but didn’t taste at all authentic.
We had the best experience at M+C, just like always. Incredible food, impeccable service, always look forward to returning.
Boy was I glad I made a reservation for a Monday! People were actually waiting to be seated. The first thing to note is that every single staff person said hello to us on our way in and out of the restaurant - such a nice touch. The menu was varied and innovative. I found some to be overly oily or sweetly sauced but overall it was a really fun culinary experience.
We came him for my boyfriend's birthday and had an amazing time! Our waitress was very nice and attentive, and provided the vegetarian menu when we sat down (which was great!). We ordered cocktails, which I knew were going to be good from the small, inventive cocktail list. They did not disappoint. We decided to do the veg tasting menu, and the food was brought out in waves and served family style. It was awesome. The flavors were on-point in every dish, and honestly we loved everything. Special shout out to the edamame dumplings with wasabi dipping sauce. You must order these!
Overall, I highly recommend Myers and Chang to anyone who appreciates high quality, delicious food in a classy-casual environment. We can't wait to come back and try brunch!
Friendly and knowledgeable servers. Delicious meal
Great service and very friendly staff
We were in town on vacation. Super place. Service and food were superb. Will be back!
Dinner was a little hit and miss. Outstanding were the hot and sour soup, mushroom lo mein, beef and broccoli and our server! Not so great were the cucumbers( more like dill pickles w/ Szechuan peppers),the tea smoked ribs and the hostesses(who seemed clueless that tables were empty causing people to wait inordinate amount of time to be seated). Enjoyed the vibrant scene. Will go back and try it again.
Overall my wife and I were not happy with our visit. The food itself was very good, but the experience was sub-par. We ordered the cheap date night menu, which is a fixed set of four dishes. The server told us that items come out as they are ready, but we did not expect this would be the case for a fixed price menu. Within 5 minutes of ordering, 3 of our 4 dishes came out, even before our drinks. We felt like we were rushed and the only goal was to flip our table. If we were to come back, we would not order the cheap date night menu and would instead order one dish at a time to make dinner more relaxing. However, I feel like it should not be the responsibility of the diner to space out their order.
We came here on a Monday and got the 'date night' special, which was a $45 (per couple) pre fix menu of 4 dishes and rice. There were 3 pre fix options to choose from, one of which was completely vegaterian friendly that we picked.
All the food was delicious - hakka eggplant, mushroom lo mein, edamame & wasabi dumplings, and tempura asparagus. Our favorite was the dumplings - definitely a different take on dumplings and had a kick to it. Plenty of food for two individuals - we were stuffed.
We could have used a few more check ins from the server, but given it was a holiday weekend, the service was okay.
Waitress very rude
The only frustrating part of meal was that I was alone and so couldn’t sensibly order all the wonderful dishes that caught my eye. The wok-cooked mussels with lemongrass —- OMG so delicious!
Most everything was terrific but the acoustics are horrible. One shouldn't have to tell across the table to make sure your dinner partner could hear you
What a great restaurant. The food was super yummy and reasonably priced. Loved the drinks too! And the servers we really friendly and welcoming! Overall great experience!
Favorite place to eat in Boston. Food is just perfect every time. Every dish is a 10. The ingredients, while simplistic in nature, are combined to create culinary nirvana. My favorite dishes: spring rolls, tea smoked ribs, dumplings a Nasi Gorang. Service is impeccable. Friendly and helpful. Atmosphere is fun & eclectic. Drinks, both adult and virgin, are imaginative and deliver on taste. As for dessert, you gotta have Joanne’s coconut cream pie.
Wonderful and gracious attention to service and detail and a rare wealth of options for those of us poor souls with food allergies.
The vibe, atmosphere, food and service was awesome. We had such a great time. We can't wait to go back.
I had herd about this restaurant from a few people and finally had the chance to eat here. It was great. The mussels were my favorite! But all the other apps and meals we ordered were fantastic. And the coconut cream pie with whipped cream was amazing. Plus I had the pineapple infused vodka...yeah. Amazing. Definitely a solid choice!!
Awesome food. Service mediocre but food sooooo good
We had pea salad and dumplings. Food was excellent and the service was friendly.
I heard so much hype about this place and was really looking forward to it. I built it up to my dining compadres, my mother and son, as something special. They and I thought we were in for a treat. We didn't really find the vibe relaxing. However, we were there for the much hailed eats. We won't be there again. Our dishes were not something we wanted to take a second bite of. Edamame dumplings were full of stringy, impossible to chew mustard greens with such a strong taste. I thought they would be the pillowy bites of heaven I swoon over at Buddakan NY. I made a huge mistake ordering those. We were starving so tried to eat. The forgetful dishes tasted like burnt oil which was hard to forget. Awful and am shocked both by how popular this place is and the contrast in the superb quality of Flour Bakery.
Myers & Chang was wonderful. If you enjoy tapas this is the place for you. We sat at the "bar", which is not the typical bar, but overlooking the preparation of the food. It was a fantastic experience, watching the system the restaurant employs to prepare the meals. The food was exceptional. The wine list was very limited, but we found a white and a red that were acceptable. There are so many great restaurants in Boston, but we will visit Myers & Chang again and again.
Loved the pea shoots, the duck, and the papaya salad!
Anything remotely connected to Joanne Chang will have me as a loyal customer. The restaurant serves a new take on traditional favorites with something for everyone whether you like it mild or spicy. We had an amazing experience there and would easily return in a heartbeat.
Everything that comes out of their kitchen is wonderful. Perfectly prepared, beautifully plate. Very unique and never disappoints
The Nasi Goreng was our favorite thing. The Thai pork lettuce wraps and duck kebabs both were a little dry, but had good flavor. The pork belly bun was delicious. Wine list was a short but interesting one but with some nice surprises. Love this place.
Food was great. The service could have been better. For example, the plates are small and when they are staggered, they do not get served in a timely manner. There were long stretches in-between dishes. Next time I will order the dishes to be cooked all at the same time to be able to enjoy them together.
Met a girlfriend here. It’s one of my favorite restaurants in the world. They don’t disappoint. We had the green papaya salad , spicy tuna poke, hot and sour soup, and Wok- charred Udon noodles. Everything was to die for.
They knew it was our Anniversary and couldn’t have been nicer! The entire staff is smiling, cheerful, courteous and helpful with the menu. They made our evening feel upbeat and festive...food was great
I think the food is overrated. Saw previous reviews and could not reconcile with the taste of the food I was eating. Ribs were way too much pre-cooks or left too long in the smoker. The thing we liked the most was the sweet- sour soup and the pork belly buns - which could have benefited from caramelization ...
Had my fathers dat lunch there- where else could we eat well, chill out and wear our matching hats and shirts (given by my 8 year old)....
Amazing dumplings, great Hakka eggplant and a mushroom omelette Asian style.
Father's Day Dim Sum Brunch at Myers and Chang was outstanding! We all found the options inventive and delicious. Highly recommend!
So fun and delicious! Modern twist on dim sum! A must eat in Boston!!
The food was delicious and the setting is an ultra slick blend of Americana and Asian influence. Thoroughly enjoyed our meal there!
overpriced, over-hyped, incredibly noisy. Food was cold except for one dish. No real cocktails.
Not a great choice which was surprising since you have to book a table so far in advance.
A profound disappointment.
A wonderful anniversary experience!
We were sat at a two top 2 inches from the counter where the food is picked up by the servers. There was someone standing right at our table basically the whole time. This made it distracting and we felt rushed to get out of there because so much chaos was going on right next to us. We also had a table an inch next to us on the other side of us, so there was no room to shift the table over a little bit.
