Can this place get any better?? Every time I dine here, it somehow always gets better.. fav place to dine, by far!
Food was very good. Would like more seafood and vegetarian choices. Very limited.
We love M&C. We eat there once a week. Always great. Had two great new servers (new to us) and they were fantastic. Thanks Surey and Gabby (sorry if I misspelled your names) for making try something new. Love your parents (Don and Michelle)! Ha ha!
Got the tango lessons cheap date night special. It was very carb loaded. Got it before and it was more veggies and thought it was better last time. I would probably just spend the 45 dollars to mix and match veggie plates.
Everything at Myers and Chang was very good. We loved the hot + sour soup, duck kebabs, bock choy, and pork bao buns. We also got the untraditional scallion pancakes and the Indonesian fried rice and although they weren’t bad we would skip them in the future. I recommend making a reservation, the restaurant was packed. Great service. We will definitely be back and are excited to try the rest of their menu.
I've eaten here several times and the food is always different and always fabulous. We were three adults and 2 children. Three (children and one adult) are vegetarian. There were ample choices, lots of diversity and complexity in the food and friendly, efficient service.
After 10 years in Boston, my best friend declared this her favorite brunch she's had in the area.
Went to m&c for Chinese New Year get together. The seating was fine. We arrived at our reservation time and were seated quickly. The server was very friendly. Enjoyed the different menus- allergy, vegetarian, and regular menu. As our group was a mix of these different preferences. The food however was not very good. That maybe because our group consisted of people who are very familiar with Asian food. And what we ate was not very authentic for either Indonesian or Chinese. We did enjoy the pork and chive dumplings, scallion pancake, and mussels. Myers and Chang would be a good choice for people not very familiar with Asian food and who want to eat a variety of different foods
The food , service and ambiance were great and its always so much fun!
Waited 30 minutes for a reserved seating. Small table for 6 people. One order of fish taco without cilantro never came out without cilantro, gave up. Food overall average, nothing special. Disappointed, won't return.
The food was AMAZING! Perfect family style portions, so you can try a bite of everything. The restaurant is very lively with a wraparound bar and a great view of the kitchen. While the food was awesome, the service definitely left a lot to be desired. Half of our group of 5 arrived early to grab drinks at the bar before dinner. At the time of our reservation, we were led to a table for 4 (despite telling the hostess several times there were 5 of us), assured they would make it work but then left standing there for several minutes before anyone came with a chair and more place settings. One member of our group was knocked into several times by staff carrying trays of glasses from the kitchen to the bar because of the tight space. Drink and food orders were lost throughout the meal as well. What saved it all was our server, who was amazingly helpful, apologetic, and a lot of fun - he definitely put it a lot of effort to salvage this birthday dinner.
tl;dr The food here is absolutely worth it but staff can be really hit or miss with service.
Although the service and atmosphere were great, the food was mediocre. We ordered several dishes and the only standout one was the Lamb belly Stirfry. All of the others were pretty bland. Unfortunately, it was a disappointing Valentine’s Day meal.
Went for lunch on Valentine's Day. Very friendly staff. Had the Mussels along with side dishes and was impressed with the quality and quantity. The broth was fantastic.
A nice casual small restaurant. We sat at high-top table, which I thought would be uncomfortable, but it was just fine.
The food was very good, but on the heavier side. The udon noodles with chicken was flavorful, but the noodles were greasy.
Fish tacos nice & crisp, but fried. Dumplings were authentic and homemade.
I had a drink, but felt like there was no alcohol in it whatsoever.
If I lived in the area, I would definitely go back. Since I don’t, not sure if I will.
The food was very good. Only comment was that the food came out very quickly, almost as if they wanted to get you out as soon as possible. Still, would definitely recommend and would go back for more. Get the tea ribs!
Always great food!
Meyers and Chang is wonderful and never disappoints - food, service, great vibes, all great.
I go home remembering my meal and thinking about when I can go back for my next!
I brought my girlfriend here for a date and I have to say that the food here is AMAZING, one of the BEST I’ve ever had in my entire life. I came here having high expectations and this place exceeded it overall. I’d recommend a walk on the beach which they serve on “cheap date night” I believe Mondays and Tuesday. This place inspired us. They take simple Asian cuisines and ELEVATE them.
Fantastic service!! The best experience on our Boston trip (and we ate at Pammy’s, Saltie Girl, Island Creek Oyster Bar and Neptune’s). Thoughtful and approachable with tons of positive energy. They personalized our menus based on my reservation notes and made us feel so welcome. Faves were our server Emma, the scallion pancake, brussels sprouts, udon noodles and the duck. Most fun we’ve had a meal in a very long time. Thank you!!!
My wife and I went here for the first time this past Sunday, and we were both very impressed. After living in Asia for 7.5 years, we're always a little reluctant when we see "smart" twists on regional classics, but the group from Myers & Chang do a great job of doing a modern take on dishes without making them unrecognizable. They simply provide some great tweaks here and there, and they get the execution near perfect every time. We're looking forward to our return!
As usual Myers & Chang’s was great. Food, service and ambiance. Tea- smoked ribs-perfect.
I've been to M+C a few times now and every meal has been fantastic. I like the brunch for a modern twist on dim sum and lots of shareable size plates. Dinner is also great with lots of appetizers to choose from and the full size dinners are not too large. The wok charred mussels, lemony shrimp dumplings and the spicy szechuan cucumbers are a few notable favorites. Service is always good.
Loved Meyers and Chang and will definitely be back. Cocktails and food were delicious...wanted more of everything.
Did the dim sum menu. Food was amazing. Service was slightly too fast (almost felt like we were rushed a bit). Would definitely go back because want to try the dinner menu.
Great food, wonderful service, will be back again!
One of our favorite places. Can be difficult to converse some days.
I love Myers and Chang. The food is a mix of Chinese, Vietnamese, and Thai, personalized by the amazing inspirations of founder Joanne Chang and executive chef Karen Akunowicz. This is the perfect place to go just for the joy of lemony shrimp dumplings or multi-ethnic wonders like Red Curry Shrimp and Grits. We often go before seeing shows at the Boston Center for the Arts, a few blocks away, and we've been doing this for years. New items pop up on the menu and, yes, a few favorites disappear. There are plenty of options for vegetarians and people with food allergies. The chefs behind our favorite seats at the bar and the wait staff all seem to be having a remarkably good time. You will, too.
The food is really good
All of our selections were wonderful, but the mussels were particularly good. Add white rice to the broth after.
Always love coming back to Myers & Chang. Love the modern take on Dim Sum. The only issue is not ordering the same dishes over and over because they are so good.
