Myers + Chang
We are inspired by Taiwanese soul food and Southeast Asian street food, all done with a great deal of care. It is a personal, sometimes loose interpretation, to be sure, but our criteria are simple: everything we make must be fresh, delicious, and addictive. We are passionate about sharing our love of this food with you.
Lunch: Monday - Friday: 11:30am - 5:00pm;
Dinner: Sunday - Thursday 5:00pm - 10:00pm
Friday + Saturday: 5:00pm - 11:00pm
We do NOT recommend parking in the lot directly across East Berkeley Street, as cars have been towed.
Cheap Date Night Menus Mon & Tues 5:00-10pm. Dinner for 2...$45!!!
Met a girlfriend here. It’s one of my favorite restaurants in the world. They don’t disappoint. We had the green papaya salad , spicy tuna poke, hot and sour soup, and Wok- charred Udon noodles. Everything was to die for.
They knew it was our Anniversary and couldn’t have been nicer! The entire staff is smiling, cheerful, courteous and helpful with the menu. They made our evening feel upbeat and festive...food was great
I think the food is overrated. Saw previous reviews and could not reconcile with the taste of the food I was eating. Ribs were way too much pre-cooks or left too long in the smoker. The thing we liked the most was the sweet- sour soup and the pork belly buns - which could have benefited from caramelization ...
Had my fathers dat lunch there- where else could we eat well, chill out and wear our matching hats and shirts (given by my 8 year old)....
Amazing dumplings, great Hakka eggplant and a mushroom omelette Asian style.
Father's Day Dim Sum Brunch at Myers and Chang was outstanding! We all found the options inventive and delicious. Highly recommend!
So fun and delicious! Modern twist on dim sum! A must eat in Boston!!
The food was delicious and the setting is an ultra slick blend of Americana and Asian influence. Thoroughly enjoyed our meal there!
overpriced, over-hyped, incredibly noisy. Food was cold except for one dish. No real cocktails.
Not a great choice which was surprising since you have to book a table so far in advance.
A profound disappointment.
A wonderful anniversary experience!
We were sat at a two top 2 inches from the counter where the food is picked up by the servers. There was someone standing right at our table basically the whole time. This made it distracting and we felt rushed to get out of there because so much chaos was going on right next to us. We also had a table an inch next to us on the other side of us, so there was no room to shift the table over a little bit.
This was my first time coming here and it was quite good. The menu is unique and the ambiance is funky. Our waitress was very nice and when one of our tapas didn’t come out (I guess due to an issue in the kitchen) she brought us free pork buns and a brownie. We got the lamb Brian Brian noodles, pork buns, dumplings, and fried rice. The noodles were not what I was expecting and were probably my lease favorite thing as they had the consistency of Italian noodles rather than Asian noodles. The dumplings were delicious as were the pork buns.
Will be sad to see Karen go!! She’s been a phenomenal presence at ‘M+C but so excited to see the great things she will do with her own restaurant!
Drinks were delicious and there was a separate menu for vegan/vegetarians. Service was quick and the servers were attentive. Overall, a wonderful dining experience.
We go there whenever we're in Boston! Never disappoints!
Great food, super service!
Amazing, as always
Service was wonderful. Food not exceptional. The items are presented as something special but not always very surprising in taste or even tasty. Octopus with grilled corn just that, pickles advertises as special but basically just pickle. Best pick were shrimp and grits but surely that’s not Asian fusion. Muscadet was underwhelming too.
Absolutely delicious! Very creative. We really enjoyed our dinner. I highly recommend this restaurant if you want a great meal.
Extremely noisy, hard to have a conversation. The food was pretty good but certainly not as outstanding as it was the first time I went. Some things were not hot and seemed slapped together. My drink, the bloodlust was delicious. I particularly did not like the beef and broccoli. I understand that it is a non traditional execution, but the meat was dry and chewy. Disappointed that it didn’t live up to my first experience at Meyers and Chang a month agao.
We loved every dish we had. The Thai beef salad, though very familiar, was outstanding and a good example of somehow improving on the original. We thought the charred octopus with corn was wonderful and never would have expected that pairing to be so inspired. Their new dessert of sticky rice with mango was the perfect cooling, soothing end to a dinner filled with intense flavors. Service was also surprisingly attentive and helpful given its small size and casual atmosphere.
that octopus is outta this world, and the lobster was the perfect addition to make the Monday night duo menu good for a group of 3.
Great food in a lively bustling environment but parking was a real challenge at midday on a Sunday.
As always, a great meal, attentive staff. Great gluten free options!
Flew in from Pittsburgh to try this James Beard award winning Chef’s restaurant, was extremely pleased and highly recommend. The smoked wings, duck and pork belly buns we’re incredible.
Our server was horrific. Took 25 minutes to take our drink order from the time we were seated. No explanation of the menu. We had to flag her down every time we wanted to order something.
Food was absolutely incredible. I’d go back in a heartbeat and hope we got the worst server our first time.
Thank you for a memorable 60th birthday dinner.
Great inventive food. Had some minor miscommunication issues with server re: spiciness and boxing up leftovers (which we were totally looking forward to but didn’t end up happening), but staff handled these gracefully.
Vegetarian: we requested all items Vegan, which they have the special vegetarian menu and the waitress told us what could not be made vegan. Excellent: dumplings and the Wok Chard Udon noodles. Did not like the Black Pepper Shanghai Noodles. Also got the vegetable of the day. Portions are large and the 1 noodle dish was enough for 2. Waitress was not very friendly, did not introduce herself or smile at all.
Worth a long walk from downtown
Noon reservations - great service, meal was delicious - while the room was busy we didn't feel hurried nor was the meal delayed. It was a great experience.
We Loved everything about Myers + Chang- we’d heard really good things and in this case, scarcely did them justice! We had the house dumplings, fish taco, surf and turf noodles + curry shrimp, everything was outstanding, and there are a ton of options left to try. To boot, the Affogato was the best dessert we’ve tried in Boston, he whole thing was a perfect anniversary celebration!!!! We look forward to our next visit!
We were happy with every dish we tried. The lemony shrimp dumplings were our favorite, but the udon noodles were a close second. We will Definitely be back.
My friend and I had lunch at Myers and Chang. It's about a 15 minute walk from Copley T station. We split an order of dumplings. In addition I had green rice and my friend had Kimchee quinoa bokkeumbap. The dumplings were good. We each felt the other two dishes were not flavorful enough. We had mint tea as a drink. The bill with tip was $56. Overall we felt that our more local Asian restaurants were as good or better.
Changed menu from the last time; overall food not as good, better previous times.
Excellent excellent food. The Dan Dan noodles are incredible if you like spicy—really spicy.
It was a perfect summer day - sunny, a little cool, and we sat out on the patio. The food was great, the service pleasant, and we had a lovely time.
My husband, sister and I had lunch at Myers and Chang on a Tuesday afternoon. I go specifically for the miso glazed carrots, and they did not disappoint - so good! We also had the spring rolls to share, the bok choy, the beef and broccoli, as well as the fish tacos. Everything was well done and none of us left hungry at all! Plenty of food to share, which is exactly what we did. They do tell you up front that they bring out each order as it's ready - that worked out great. Definitely recommend if you're in the area (but also well worth a special trip!).
Food was fantastic! Particularly valued accuracy of menu designations of relative spiciness. Wait staff was excellent—friendly, efficient, informative. And surprisingly inexpensive for the quality.
