We appreciated the fact that they let two of us sit and begin to order while waiting for our guest -- who was having trouble finding a parking spot. Allowed for a long, leisurely lunch enjoying the company of friends and good food/cocktails. The Dan Dan Noodles and dim sum were great and we'll go back again soon!

Again, a wonderful meal and terrific service. This restaurant cannot be beat for the terrific menu offerings (that change often) and the way in which the food is presented. It's one of my favorite places to take guest who come in from out of town. If they want true, authentic Chinese cuisine, this is the place to come.

Great place to stop by for Dim Sum while shopping at Westfield Mall San Francisco or catch a movie at the Century Theater. They have a good sections of dumplings and variety of other dishes to choose from. Everything is great from the Shandong Beef Rolls to Shiu Mai to Venison Chow.

Great Upscale Chinese food in an elegant setting. We shared the moo shu tacos, the honey walnut shrimp, the schezwan beans and brown rice. All were outstanding as were our drinks. Plenty of food for two people.

Great East West cocktail.
Great to see the chefs cook the food. All the staff attentive to the customers. One of the bar tenders came over to help me because he saw I needed attention with my order.
Great service of staff.
The fried rice and Hong Kong noodle was good.

Great to see a well designed Chinese restaurant.
My China beats china town restaurants with quality of service and quality of ingredients.

No special things, except that maybe for foreigners there could be more information about how spicy the meals are. Helps to make better choices. We misunderstood the waiter 2 times.

Food and service are very good. The menu has something for everyone's taste in Chinese food, with selections not normally found outside of San Francisco (great for tourists). The food is brought to the table when ready so it is always hot. This may be a problem for some. The restaurant is located at the top of the Westfield Mall on Market Street. You can sit inside, or "outside" and watch some shoppers go by.

M.Y. China is a real find for authentic Chinese food in a lovely setting. The best dishes we had were Wild Boar Scissor Cut Noodles, Honey Glazed Walnut Shrimp (spectacular) and the Honey Glazed BBQ Pork. The only disappointment was the Yang Zhou Fried Rice which was extremely bland and colorless.

Don't forget dessert! Sugar Egg Puffs are a MUST as is the Lychee Panna Cotta. Seriously, don't skip these even if you have to take some of your lunch/dinner home for later.

This restaurant is located on the fourth floor of a shopping mall and parking can be a real challenge. There is a large parking garage on the street behind the mall, but it can be difficult to find the entrance and the parking spots are VERY small. However, I feel it is worth the drive downtown and the parking challenge in order to experience this wonderful food.

A little disappointing this time. Very crowded seating considering the prices charged. Crystal Jade a much more comfortable setting with equivalent prices and food. 5% fewer tables crammed into the seating area would make a big difference.

Great Food and Outstanding Service!

We had a group lunch with my co-workers who arrived at different times. Our server did an excellent job getting our order correctly and the food arrived so quickly that our late arrivals got their food within 10 minutes of ordering! We had several vegetarians in our group and their menu was fantastic as they substituted meat for tofu to accommodate our vegetarians. At the end of our meal the chef who was stretching the noodles came out of the kitchen and did a dance and demonstration for the diners. Great entertainment to end our meal!

The food is good and it's one of or go to places when we go to the movies. This time we ordered appetizers, soup and an entree to share with a couple of sides and they brought everything out at once. There wasn't really room on the table so we felt rushed to eat it to make space and so things didn't get cold. It ruined what is usually a good meal.

MY China was much anticipated, given its Martin Yang roots and our collective love for Yang Can Cook and related TV shows. I learned the basics of Chinese home cooking from Yang decades ago and was looking forward to this meal. Given its in a mall, I thought it could be weird or atypically bad, but it was neither. If you closed your mind to the mall setting, it is a stylish, high-end Chinese interior and experience. The dim sum starters and soups were excellent - fresh, well-seasoned, and nice portion size. The mains, too, were well-received - the hand made noodles were great, and the Kung Pao was top notch as a classic dish. I commend this place to anyone who likes the Hong Kong style of Chinese.

It was only after I'd made the reservation that I became aware of the poor health inspection report. It was too late to cancel with friends. I would not go back until that changes. Several dishes also had a tremendous amount of red peppers on them, not noted on the menu. I like spicy food more than most - but this was more like red peppers were spilled.

I was skeptical about a mall restaurant being of high quality, but after reading that it was run by the same people of Koi palace fame, my friend and I decided to give it a try. Surprisingly the food was really good. The roast chicken was juicy and flavorful and the salted egg yolk crab was mouthwatering. The only downside was the service. Our waitress was friendly but only checked on us once during our meal. Not that we really needed her, but it's still nice to have your waitress check on your satisfaction of the food or if you need more drinks. The food did come out pretty fast and the price is comparable to Koi Palace and Crustacean. Would go again and try the hand cut noodles next time.

We sat at the bar for dinner. Annoying person at the bar talking to everyone and drinking like crazy- friends with the bar staff- we finally had to tell him leave us alone- bar staff should have recognized their friend was being obnoxious and told him to cut it out or leave. Instead they poured him more. We were paying $100 for dinner before a movie and it was really unpleasant to have to confront a bully and say 'leave us alone'. We typically love MY China and recommend it to friends. Disappointing.

The service was outstanding -- we had a member of our party who has allergies to oysters and, therefore, oyster sauce. Because so many dishes use this ingredient, it was very hard to select dishes that the group could share. Our server took a lot of time to help us out and communicated along the way what was possible for us to eat and also made a lot of accommodations to provide the food we wanted to eat.

I love the food at M.Y. China! Been there about 6 times and never disappointed in food or service! Had the Seven Spice pork ribs this time, Wow were they hot, spicy and really addicting!
Only complaint is noise level, but I know that's do to bring inside the Westfield Shopping Center! Great place to go before the Theater!
