Musso & Frank Grill
Celebrating my niece’s 21st birthday. Was a wonderful venue and we all had an outstanding time.
Wowwwww. The GM’s recommendations for the Chicken Parmesan was spot on!!!!! We normally have the prime rib or short ribs, but ventured out. Magnifico!!!!!!
The lobster and crab bisque is to die for!!!!!!
The cheesecake that is flown in per the request of the late Frank Sinatra is also incredible! Every bite this to be savored.
Martinis 🍸, Manhattans, old fashions, are traditionally prepared to perfection👍
Thank you for a spectacular evening🙏🏻❤️
Great food and impeccable service. The staff is so friendly and attentive and every dish is delicious.
Musso and Franks is the best restaurant in Los Angeles
A real pleasure in all aspects. Kudos to the parking lot attendants for their expertise!
What a great restaurant. And it's 100 years old.
Everything on the menu is classic and great.
Leonardo was an excellent server. He was attentive and very friendly. He answered questions and made suggestions. He is very knowledgable about what Mussos serves. My daughter and I will definitely return in the near future.
Very nostalgic place to take out if town visitors! Full of energy , a little noisy but you can still talk ! Good food and fun !
I am so glad I went. Dont put it off, it is a fantastic and memorable dining experience!!! I went for a special occasion,
but it is a wonderful place to go any time. The ambiance, food, and service are exceptional. Note to others: there is parking in the back of the restaurant. I found that later.
An awesome example of a bygone era. Feels very 1920s and authentic to "old Hollywood," everyone who cares about old Hollywood should go here on their visit.
The file was not as good as I have had there before. The onion rings were excellent. The service was excellent.
Always a treat to eat at Musso and Frank. A true “through-back” experience. They’re celebrating their 100 year! Perfect place to go with a group or an intimate date. Top-notch all the way.
"I love the relaxed feel of this place – like a comfortable dining room in a friends home. I definitely would return to try more dishes. The Chicken Pot Pie was amazing. Service was well-timed and friendly, drinks were affordable."
The restaurant is reminiscent of old Hollywood. From the moment I walked in the staff was extremely helpful and courteous. The food was excellent. My prime rib was the one of the largest and tastiest dishes I've had this year. I would recommend the restaurant for everything from family get togethers to meetings.
Gives you a direct sense of Hollywood. I think it is exactly what you expect from this original restaurant. I would highly recommend it.
Had a really nice evening for our wedding anniversary and the lovely card and desert from Musso & Franks was a nice touch. Thank you!
I have had wonderful dinners at Musso's over fifty years and got to know Phillip very well as he was our
waiter on so many occasions. We also got to know the "sister's....in the back and talked to one of them from time to time. Great place. Great food. and love the waiter's. Hope they stay happy, though it does feel a little rushed these days. I see that it's become very crowded and constantly filled with guests.. All
good and am happy for the family. I like the front room somewhere in the middle booths or at that front
table or one next to it. But, it doesn't matter where we sit, it's always great. Thanks so much for caring
what we think. Love you all.
Whenever we go to the Pantages we always dine before or after show at Musso and Frank! We love the restaurant! We also get the same booth and waiter! Service is always outstanding! Food is always the best! Always treated like a celebrity!
There are few places in world to match the wonderful dining experience of Musso & Frank! I have made this a must go address since the early 80's and it is always the place to take anyone that wants a real taste of Hollywood life!
Classic LA. Great martinis, excellent service and cozy red booths.
We celebrated our anniversary (they had a card waiting for us and cake for dessert!) The table we requested was available which offered a quiet romantic experience. Our waiter Brian was professional, funny and on point, service was excellent.
We ordered the roquefort celery appetizer (great) and martinis (had a slight issue but nothing serious). As for food, my wife had the Ribeye Cap steak (which my wife said mine I make at home were better and more tender lol) but for a restaurant I liked the dish, superior to the bone in ribeye in term of flavor I'd say if you hesitate.
Personally I had the duck confit (a GREAT value if you go on Sunday since it's great and comes with vegetables for 28$) and I ALSO had the Bone in ribeye lol. The ribeye was very tasty and seemed to have been made on a BBQ grill, so if you like charcoal steaks, it really felt like that. We also had lyonaisse potatoes which was probably the weakest part of the meal. Good but nothing to rave about.
Alright final judgment, I actually approve of this restaurant (which is an extremely rare occurrence). They have been in business for 100 years, they have an actual executive chef and it shows. Dishes are spot on, service is great, I'm making this my official Hollywood restaurant.
The last time I was there was a few years ago, I have no idea why I haven't been back. The food and the ambience the service is amazing. Love the bar and I miss my bartender.
We enjoyed ourselves. It was our anniversary and they were so nice and accommodating. Food was great and service was very good.
It was wonderful, and it should be illegal to make a pork chop that good.
M and F Grill is always outstanding, and we love the personable and attentive service. Our favorite meal is the Saturday special, short ribs so succulent that no knife is needed. There are numerous repeat customers, and the waiters know them by name and remember their favorite dishes.
4th visit in the last 2 years - will not go to anywhere else now ....
I am a creature of habit and always order the Crab Louis salad; in previous years it was outstanding. This time I ordered it again but was disappointed. It was rather vinegar-y and the out-of-season tomatoes were unripe and flavorless. I would advise only adding tomatoes in season and to switch for avocado when they are not. My friend really enjoyed her meal. I love the rich history and atmosphere and I always enjoy the "experience" of being at Musso and Frank Grill and will return, but will probably not order my favorite Crab Louis salad again. The service was, typically, impeccable.
This is an excellent restaurant! Love their food! Service is wonderful! The only downside it is very noisy.
I've known Musso & Frank Grill since the late-1970's and to this day, it remains incomparable and my "go-to" destination for fine dining, whether it be for dining with clients, friends and family and out-of-town guests. There are few, if any, long-term dining establishments remaining in Los Angles which rise to it's standards. I wish the Musso & Frank Grill another 100 years of success. Thank you for your hospitality!
it was going back in time..... my mom loved it.
i would go back for sure!!
We’ve been customers for many years. The service is great and you feel like you’ve stepped back in time: Solid food, a comfortable booth, a cold martini, a wedge of sourdough...you are out on the town!
Fun Birthday dinner
Staff was very accommodating. Everyone was friendly and helpful. EVERYONE from the valet on. Service was great, food delicious. Loved the pots of coffee. The celery sticks were awesome.
Been many times,...always the same...excellent ! Martinis especially good, and served in old way😃
M&F was a blast. Place was packed but they held our corner booth! Food was excellent especially the prime rib. Service was engaging and timely. Martinis are a speciality and are served with a sidecar. Great place with a vibrant atmosphere.
Superb food, mood and service, as always. First time ever sitting at bar waiting for friends and was not disappointed - bartender was charming, friendly and funny - in spite of a full bar and waiters giving him drink orders as well - enjoyed my time there. Host as well, went out of his way to hold table ( fiends late) and make sure we were all having good time.
They were out off the chicken pot pie at 7!
We've never been disappointed by a meal at Musso & Frank. I must admit there was a bit more fat on the sauerbraten than normal, but that's a cut that often has fat. Our server, Erick, was personable and attentive. I had mentioned in making my online reservations that we were there for my wife's birthday, and they surprised her with a cake/ice cream dessert that she appreciated very much. If we didn't have to fight so much freeway traffic and what is usually a 90-minute drive, we'd probably get there once a month.
Fantastic! We had the ribeye steak, baked potato and broccolini with hollandaise sauce. It was so good! And our waiter told us stories of old Hollywood like which booth Charlie Chaplin sat with DW Griffith after racing down Hollywood Boulevard when it was a dirt road. Or where Orson Welles and Marilyn Monroe sat. It was a fun evening and the food was fantastic. We will definitely go back.
My favorite restaurant in the whole world. What else can I say here?
