My guest had an iceberg lettuce and the corned beef and I had the dinner salad and prime rib. Though he found his meal pleasant enough the beats on my dinner salad were drying out and the greens looked weak. The the prime rib I ordered, was, well, go to Lawry's for prime rib, where there isn't a question about fresh to anything. My prime rib was moist but like the beats atop the salad it too was "dry" - not juicy throughout. Frankly, the meal was disappointing and leads me to conclude that Musso & Frank is truly resting atop its laurels; had I not clumsily left my camera in my vehicle there'd be photos but even then can an iPhone in the hands of an amateur capture dry beat shreds? I will be remaining with Lawry's. One more tid-bit... If you are in need of a walker for assistance there won't ADA entry from the parking lot.

Once in a lifetime is enough. The beautiful African American hostess was so frowny and not friendly at all. So that kind of brought my excitement down. My daughter said there was an unpleasant smell. Our waiter was fairly attentive. The food portions were good size.

This fabulous 100+ year old historical establishment never, never fails to wow everyone, regardless of whether it’s a first time visit or the 50th visit. I love this place, all the staff, including the valet parking staff, and the food and drink are of the highest quality and standards every time. I live in the San Fernando Valley and have tons of friends in Orange County, who I introduce to this wonderful restaurant, and without fail, each of them fall in love with it and the unique Hollywood dining experience only Musso and Frank can provide.

This is a landmark Hollywood restaurant with a rich history. The service is always excellent and we have always enjoyed the food. Prices though have increased from the online menu to the menus that we were given at the restaurant. Just seems like part of a trend today; "we are raising our prices because; we can".

The food is better than expected. The look and ambiance was exactly what I was hoping for. I liked the fact that they validate your parking ticket, but it’s ridiculous that the valets then charge you $12 with the validation?!? I was a little put off by the all white male wait staff on a busy Saturday night as well. I’m hoping this was a crazy coincidence. I would recommend the restaurant if they would work on their diversity and monitor their valets that are running a side business in their parking lot.

Fantastic experience. We were seated excitedly by the host who explained this was the Raymond Chandler booth. And Michael Connelly. And it only got better from there. Food was excellent, service was amazing.

I love everything about his place! The food and drinks and ambience feels like old Hollywood still lives! I must say the noise level is pretty much through the roof though at peak dining hours. Need to practice projection to have a conversation! That being said, it is the most wonderful restaurant in Hollywood!!
