Musso & Frank Grill
One of my go to Hollywood Haunts. Service and food is perfection as always. ❤️The Avocado Salas. Don’t ask for “ranch” this is old school. A time before it was popular. Dressing of choice is a homemade 1000 island type. Best place in LA. For steaks.
Perfect - steak, lobster, chicken pot pie, martini (s). Fun bartenders, fun scene totally Hollywood. Favorite!
A place from the past when there were good drinks, good food and good service. Menu and some drinks haven’t been seen in years.
We went for a birthday celebration and they treated us very special. The food was excellent and so was the service. Of course, the ambience is spectacular.
Musso & Frank Grill is superb! We live out of country but it’s worth crossing the border.
Never going to go to dinner there again after 530. It's way too noisy. The acoustics are not good. We've been there many times with this experience was awful
Exceeded expectations. Food was fabulous.
We went for my mother in laws 72nd birthday and we had a great time! The food was fab and Juan our server was the sweetest, the restaurant made such a lovely touch in recognizing her birthday. Having a card on arrival and bringing out a birthday brownie for us all to sing happy birthday. Great night spent!
I took my 5 year old daughter here before going to see Frozen. It was absolutely perfect! Great service, food and atmosphere! Can’t wait to come back with my husband for a date night!
Food quality is poor and it was a family favorite for many years. I’m so sorry.
One of those rare places that live up to the hype.
Great Hollywood hang out on the Walk of Stars, darkish, elegant wood paneling. Decor a little dated, but that's not why you go. Good cocktails. Good food, but not stellar. Taken all together, a worthwhile undertaking.
We've eaten all over the world and this is by far one of our top 10. The martinis are wonderful, the steak was outstanding, and the sourdough bread is out of this world.
Amazing shrimp cocktail, wedge salad and ribeye with cream spinach! And the heavy pour on the drinks is awesome and balances out the menu prices which are worth it!
Would prefer to be able to pick a booth. The table they offered for our reservation was extremely small and it was very noisy. We ended up sitting at the counter. Our food was also cold when it arrived. My family and I have been coming here for years even when Manny the waiter was still there doing magic tricks , he was awesome. The old timey feeling is still there but I think it needs a bit more detailed streamlining with booking a reservation.
Absolutely the BEST night in a long time! From the very beginning, at the bar with Sonny taking care of us with a fantastic icy martini, then on to Angel, our waiter, and then the food that was superb! We will be back ASAP :)
Thank you for making my fiancé’s birthday so special! We definitely plan to become regulars!!!
Pleasant dining experience, harking to the older days of Hollywood.
The food and service were outstanding. It was a great dining experience to culminate our day in Hollywood and an afternoon matinee at the theater.
Perfect martini, perfectly cooked steak was delicious, excellent wine list, great service--all while I sit in the great room in the bar, pretending to be Humphrey Bogart. Just a fine evening.
I’ve loved this restaurant since I first started coming to eat in 1984. Nothings changed. Including the menu. Let’s keep it that way!
Fabulous! Had my celebratory birthday dinner there and everyone in my party absolutely loved it... Everything was top.notch The birthday card from Musso & Frank was a wonderful surprise.
We had a great dinner for two last weekend. Escargots and the steak tartare were perfect. Than came avocado salad which was very nice and the consome was sublime And served very hot. That’s a big thumbs up. Next course was lamb chops and scallops. Both were outstanding and rich in flavor.
Our waiter was discreet and always right here when needed. Old school - good school! All staff very attentive and clean uniforms. ( It’s so nice to dine in a place where the staff isn’t wearing the tightest black T-shirts and showing off their latest tattoo or think it’s all about themselves).
Musso & Frank is our place.
Food was good. Service was very slow. Maitre d’ claimed it was to ensure we finished with one course before they brought the next, but it seemed as though they were short-handed today.
I’m in a wheelchair and they were very accommodating. Went to celebrate engagement and love the food and drinks. Love Musso. love Frank
We went to Musso & Frank’s to celebrate my birthday, and because they are one of only a few restaurants in Los Angeles to serve the Rib Eye Cap cut of steak. Like a true, old world high end restaurant, we were treated to pleasant and attentive service from the moment we arrived, while the lively crowd and bustling, upscale atmosphere immediately put us in a good mood.
My wife ordered an appetizer sized portion of the Fettuccini Alfredo followed by the Swordfish Murniere, both of which she loved. I had the Lobster Cocktail and the aforementioned Rib Eye Cap, which was perfectly charred and served atop just the right amount of jus.
Along the way, Musso’s trademark martinis added extra cheer, as did a birthday card delivered by the Maitre D’. Our server was attentive, friendly and enjoyable. The only slight misstep was presenting a gratis birthday dessert AFTER we had already ordered dessert, which meant that we wound up with too much dessert before us. But that was just the the very briefest “oops” in a very enjoyable dinner.
A favorite since I was in my teens. It’s new found success after Movies, TV and 100th anniversary advertising only makes reservations more difficult!
Food was mediocre. If you go there do it for the nostalgia not a good meal. Expensive for the quality.
The best brownie topped with vanilla ice cream we've ever had. Smart professional wait staff.
Classic old Hollywood - absolute must do on your next LA trip.
We loved our waiter! He was well versed in the history of Musso and Frank's, he guided us well with the food choices.
We had so much fun!
Excellent service and great food!!!
A true Hollywood experience with exceptional food and service. I specifically dined on Thursday so I could order the Chicken Pot Pie. Actor Danny Trejo raved about it so I wanted to try it. Trust me it was delicious! My hubby ordered the Porterhouse Steak and said it was the best he’s ever had. Service was terrific from the valet to the host to the server. I highly recommend.
It was certainly as expected - a special feeling. Waiter was very nice. friendly. It was a perfect birthday lunch!
The food and service are exceptional. Thank you.
Very noisy. Once in a while visit will do. Calf liver was great.
The greatest !!
the best! hands down old Hollywood glam and amazing food.
We were delighted to have our first visit to your restaurant for my husbands birthday. We enjoyed the food and our waiter and wait staff were outstanding. We will return for brunch some day to try the famous flannel cakes! Thank you Pam and family.
We had not been to Musso and Frank for probably twenty years. From what we remembered, we were very disappointed. It was noisy, the food quality was fair to good, the service was not great. We felt that the people who were dining there were fans of The Kominsky Method, the show on Netflex, or just prior to theater at the Pantages. We are sorry, but we would not recommend Musso and Frank to our friends.
