In addition to an extensive wine list, we feature a large selection of beers.
Food overall was good. But after we done the appetizers we waited over 30 minutes for the rest of the food.
We had dinner at Mussels & More on the evening of an outdoor festival . It was very busy and the waitstaff made sure that we were attended to.
Our waiter was very thoughtful and our busboy was extremely attentive and helpful
Worst lobster roll I’ve ever had! It was saturated in mayonnaise , it tasted like it was blended with tuna fish. Barely saw or tasted any lobster, honestly questionable it was 100% lobster meat. Our waiter was nice that’s the only positive thing. Bread was stale as hell!
The place, the food, and the service ----All Just Perfect!!!
Mussels were out of this world and the seafood bisque was on of the best I’ve ever had!
Except for the bread, which was probably a day old the experience was very good. Salad excellent as was the mussels and the salmon
The owner and staff were extremely accommodating. Definitely a neighborhood gem.
Excellent food, good service and pretty good value. The cappuccino at the end of the meal was really good, too. I had the classic mussels pot and my husband ordered teriyaki salmon. We were both pleased with our meals and the Greek salad we ordered up front was definitely large enough for two people. Had a distinct neighborhood feel and the diversity of the diners punctuated that. The owner/manager stopped by to inquire about our experience and we said the same to him. Bravo, Mussels and More.
My husband and I went for Valentines day dinner. Our waiter came over to take our order and we ordered drinks since we were reviewing our menu. He never came back to take our order, the host came over and noticed that we still had our menus, on top of that our drinks took forever. Our dinner took even longer, my husband got the fish and chips and I order the seafood paella. The food was just ok, I've had better.
We kept trying to get the waiter's attention to order dessert, he was just flitting around and ignoring me waving at him. He finally came over and when I asked to wrap my leftover dinner, he said "do you want the check now?" Well, at that point it was not even worth the wait to ask for a dessert menu, so we just went with the check. The guy totally forgot our check and was running around doing I don't know what! It took us another 20 minutes to wave him down and remind him that we wanted our check. When we got our check, they charged my husband's drink twice! This was ridiculous. I don't know if they were just not prepared for the Valentine's rush, but since it was by reservation, I don't know if we just had a bad waiter.
Sorry, never coming back. Not worth the wait.
Food was great and quiet lunch
At first the service was OK, we got our drinks quite fast and the food as well. When we were finished, and waiting for 15 minutes, we went to the bar and asked to pay. The food itself was OK, except for the bread, which was at least a few days old. The temperature in the restaurant fluctuated from very cool to very hot. When asked for better regulation, nothing could be done.
Staff was warm and friendly. Food was really great! The raw oysters were incredibly fresh and delicious! We got a bucket of the Fra Diavolo style mussels and 2 Buckets of the Maine style mussels. They were the star of the meal. Very tasty. The pots of mussels are huge and super filling. Highly recommend this place. I cannot wait to bring back a larger group of family and friends so they can enjoy it with me:)
This restaurant serves the usual seafood and pasta dishes but provides huge portions, giving diners the option to take home enough leftovers for a meal the next day. As their name implies, they serve Mussels in about 20 different preparations, each containing about 36 mollusks, enough for a complete meal. Worth the trip!
Not my first time here and like always it never disappoints so definitely won’t be my last time here.
My family and I love mussels and more. Great food, great drinks and a really nice wait staff and manager. Always satisfied!
M&M is still one of our favorite seafood spots in Bay ridge. Mussels are plump, tasty, smooth eating and totally tempting when served in their unique, flavorful broth. Gracious staff was amazingly accommodative as I twice had to verbally change my original reservation time. I will continue to recommend Mussels and More.
The food was good but the wait was forever. It took a long time for someone to come to us and the food took so long to get to us. The service used to be better
Only one main course came out, followed by the other one 10 minutes later. Food was bland.
I used to like this place but the service wasn’t good and the food was mediocre
Excellent fish but prices are a little high in my opinion, considering the ambience and quality of some items. For example, the drinks are disappointing. Have been there over 10 times so this comment is not made on a one-off visit. Soda/seltzer never has any fizz -- ever. Mixed drinks are not very good. Despite the name, I wouldn't recommend the mussels. Consistently small and sometimes dry. But the fish is excellent, so I recommend it for this reason. I particularly recommend the salmon, Branzino, etc. Probably the best in the area. Accompanying vegetables and potatoes are always really good as well.
Just not what I expected.... the food was very bland with no flavor at all... very disappointing.
The place was really good but they try to rush you out and it's not even busy
Came here a few years ago and I remember the food being much better.
The bread that came in the bread basket was cold and hard. We ordered the guac and chips and the guac was literally tasteless. I was sitting at the table squeezing two lemons and adding salt to revive it.
Other than that, the bisque mussles were great.
Linda and I were going to be in that part of the ridge on sat nite and we wanted a moderately priced but good seafood restaurant. We made our reservation and had a table waiting marked reserved. Nice touch. Our waiter was very attentive. We both had salmon. It was perfectly cooked and the mashed potatoes were delicious We enjoyed ourselves and our meal and would recommend coming here and it has a nice bar area too if you just want to hang out.
Food was good, as always. Drink specials were great.
I've been here before but it was always me and one other person and dining was always pleasant. This time around I brought the family to dinner here on a Saturday night. The entire evening we just felt rushed to eat our food and get out. It was hard to savor and enjoy when we kept being asked "are you done with that?" after every bite. I would recommend this for small parties (two people at a table), but not so much for groups. Otherwise the food was good. Oh, and they are no longer on Opentable.com.
