This was our first time eating here. It was me, my husband, and our daughter. We absolutely loved it! It was beautiful, fancy, and had great wine and food! A little pricey, but so worth it.

We arrived for a belated Valentines celebration. A yearly special time just for our small family. After being immediately seated, the staff served ice cold water and fresh baked rolls with ramekins filled with fresh butter. We ordered the escargot and mussels as our first course, and were very impressed by the unique style used to prepare and serve each appetizer. While the presentation was excellent, they tasted even better, and the portions of the escargot was larger than I have ever experienced.

We ordered the lobster bisque-a must and the tomato caprese as a second course, both were outstanding. Then on to the duck, elk, and lamb shank. While the duck and elk were somewhat traditional in preparation, they possessed their own unique flair. The lamb was something else intirely. Presented similarly to that I enjoyed in Armenia, there served in a type of saffron and ginger stew. The Museum Cafe served a very well spiced tomato based sauce. An excellent change from the typical lamb with mint or berry sauce.

To finish we enjoyed cheesecake with wild cherries, and a lemon crumb cake with strawberries folded into the batter twinned with fresh berries on the top. Both deserts were fabulous.

The service was beyond excellent, on par with a five star restaurant. While the prices were what you would expect from this type of setting, the portions were large with sides included with entrée selection.

We will be back, maybe to try the brunch on the weekend.

I Booked Valentine's dinner at 135 dollars the first two dishes were great out of this world but the maim course Mahi Mahi was aful left a nasty fish taste in my pallet all night I could not belive I paid that much money for that to be my main meal not happy I did not feel very sexy after words for it to be Valentine's night with the wife

Waitress had no idea what the items were on the prix fixed menu for Valentines Day. She said the Wild Boar was steak/beef. And when we said, “isn’t boat like wild pig?” She admitted she had no idea. We ordered two different kinds of wine by the glass but they were both the same. Really really poor training of staff. We had no idea it was going to be an extremely limited menu otherwise we wouldn’t have gone. Everything seemed very pre-made. Would not go back.

We usually go about once a month but was very disappointed this visit except with the server. Autumn was outstanding through our grumbles. We had to grab forks from another table, my napkin was stained, we had to ask for complimentary muffins, which were overcooked and dry, and then for butter, had to ask for warm syrup for waffles and the portion of cream cheese and lox for the bagels was very skimpy and certainly not worth $12. It would be nice to see something new on the brunch menu, which is when we visit this restaurant.

The Museum Cafe continues to be my favorite lunch option when attending local events. The food is always outstanding!
