Wonderful experience overall- food was outstanding, service was great and the tables were divided by decorative screens which offered quite a private dining experience! My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our night!

We originally had reservations somewhere else downtown and they had to cancel that day so to COVID exposure of an employee. Was able to find a reservation here last minute and it was a pleasant surprise! Our waiter Donny was amazing! He made the whole experience! Food was great, and a great selection. Would definitely be back here and excited to come back and bring guests that will love it too!

First time visitor, will not be our last time! Sarah did a great job for us! She also made some great recommendations! Already looking forward to our next visit.

A wonderful experience. Our server was very friendly and informative. Food was outstanding and the environment was all you could ask for.

Food was very good but the service was not. Our server poured lots of wine rather than do it as we progressed with our meal. Pour some o the tablecloth as well and did not even apologize. There was a cold draft where we were seated, she said she would turn on the heating but nothing really changed. She was nice but not interested in providing a good customer experience. There are many good restaurants in Charleston, not sure we would go back even if the food was good.

What a fabulous evening. Food was outstanding, love the vibe of the place, but Donny made it most memorable. Probably one of the best servers I have ever had. Not only did he ask all of us our names (there were five of us), he remembered our names, and the names of all of the guests at every table around us! That’s pretty impressive!!!! We will definitely be back!!!

Donnie has fantastic eclectic French/Southern restaurant. Coming from Boulder, CO we always enjoy his menu, attentive staff (GF friendly for my Wife with celiacs) & family favorite every Fall ~ Winter ~ Spring when we drop-off/pick-up our Son at CoC. Cheers to a better 2021 - Fondly!

Food tasted very good but took extremely long to come out, so I don’t know if they had staffing issues or not. Was also weird they didn’t really acknowledge how long everything was taking. A simple “sorry for the wait/delay” would’ve gone a long way.

The food is amazing... everything! I had a lobster bisque & scallops, they were super good and for dessert we had a pomegranate trifle that is an invention of the chef here, it's just too good to believe! I live in Florida and have gone twice in consecutive months, just for their food, wish they would open here.

Terrible meal!! Service was good. One of the worst meals that we have ever had! Went to this place 12-13, and was very good. 12-31 was horrible!!! Will Not go back again. Mangers could care less!

New Years Eve

Great experience!! Service was great and food was delicious!!

We showed up early and were seated immediately. It was just us and one other table in our section for a time, which was nice. It took a bit to get our drinks, though no fault of the server. Sam, our server, was excellent. His dinner recommendations were spot on. I had the sea scallops and risotto and my husband has the sea bass. Overall, excellent meal & experience and would return.

Glad I was able to find table here. This was the best meal of our little escapades in Charleston SC. Caroline, was very pleasant and on-point with her suggestions. Tonight we had cocktails, potato & leak soup, beef capaccio, baked oysters, sea bass, local shrimps, nice Bordeaux, pomegranate trifle, flourless chocolate torte... Compliments and thank you.

Joseph and his team were spectacular!! Food was some of the best we had in Charleston.

Highly recommend this restaurant! We were running late due to the backup on I-95 and the staff at Muse shifted our reservation with no problem. We were warmly greeted and seated upon our arrival and met our server, Samuel. (We decided to adopt him!) He was knowledgeable and helpful as we decide on wines and entrees. Started with the bake oysters, MUCH creamier than a rockefeller and so delicious! I opted for the Local Shrimp that was served perfectly cooked on a bed of mascarpone polenta. OMG!! LOVED IT!! Also ordered at the table was the Tagliatelle Bolognese- so rich with beef and delicious. Scallops over a wonderful risotto, and lastly, the special of the night, grouper with artichoke hearts, baby potatoes etc. We all tasted each others' entrees and all deemed completely fantastic. Did you say dessert? We did! Flourless Chocolate Cake and Carrot cake were brought as well as coffee, and port. Our entire experience was, frankly, unforgettable. Too bad we live in Virginia and can't become regulars. But we will be regulars at MUSE every time we visit Charleston!

Christmas Eve

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our experience at Muse on Christmas Eve. The food and service was A+. Would highly recommend.

What a great evening. Don, our waiter, took fantastic care of us. Food was excellent and the ambiance was inviting, casual and a great overall experience. We sat outside and it felt like our own private courtyard. Will definitely be back!

Donny & Roman did a great just job making us feel welcome. Great job of social distancing during this Covid time. Plenty of spacing between diners. Food was great! If we lived here we would visit it often. Will return next time in Charleston!

We had an outside table with a wonderful tall heater beside. It was warm and toasty to sit outside. The atmosphere was wonderful, service outstanding and the food was excellent. Highly recommend, felt very safe during these Covid times.

The food and service were great. We were sat next to a very loud and unaware party. Was hard to have a conversation with my fiance in between f-bombs and such.
