Muse is a very convenient restaurant for those attending a concert at Benaroya Hall. The food is good, and the ambiance is quiet and elegant and conducive to visiting with friends prior to attending a concert.
Perfect spot for a meal before symphony at Benaroya.
Food was attractively presented, quite good, perhaps generous for before a concert.
Makes an evening out so leisurely & special.
Last two times I was there my fish was seriously undercooked. I sent it back the first occasion. The second time I just scraped off half the raw flesh and ate the rest.
$40 for two courses seems high to me.
Always a treat to eat at Muse. Menu varies and they are always great to make changes for food allergies.
We were here to attend the symphony on Saturday night and decided to try this restaurant. Service was very good. We had the 3 course meal, plus drinks. Food was fresh, well presented, and delicious. I was pleased they offered vegetarian options on the menu. Atmosphere was relaxed, tables were well spaced apart, nice background music. Good for conversation. Well worth the splurge.
A small menu, but thoughtful and well executed. Very good service. We went prior to symphony concert and the convenience can't be overstated (Muse is in the back corner of the symphony hall). On top of the location convenience, they made effort to serve us promptly.
Muse probably fits into the "pricey, smaller portions" category, but the convenience quite compensates.
Lovely experience with well prepared food and good service. Perfect for night out at the symphony
Very friendly staff.
Excellent for a before Symphony meal.
Muse makes a perfect place to have an unhurried diner before a concert. Good food, pleasant staff and a perfect location - you only have to park once. It was comfortable, quiet enough to have a conversation and there are some nice views of the city and some have Puget Sound views as well.
Delicious meal and wonderful service. The perfect dinner before the symphony!
I was pleased to get a table. Actually there were several open tables, despite the fact that OPEN TABLE did not list any tables available. The Muse management was surprised to hear that OPEN TABLE did not list any availability.
My suggestion is to go directly to the Muse web site for reservations rather than rely on OPEN TABLE.
It was a very pleasant dining experience.
Staff was attentive and solitious. Our sever, Tony, was superb. He understood that we needed to make the symphony; he timed our entrees so that we did not feel rushed but still had adequate time to enjoy each course.
We look forward to another dinner with Muse
I've been to Muse 3 or 4 times and this last was the least enjoyable. A buffet arrangement, not attractively placed or arranged.
A nice way to dine before the symphony. Great setting with a nice view of downtown and good food. Quiet and calm--good for conversation.
The ambience and service were outstanding. The soup and vegetables were perfect. The steak was tough and the sauce was way over-salted. I’ll give them another try in the hope that the positives remain and the negatives improve.
Excellent, limited menu allows completion of dining prior to pre-symphony lecture. Oysters were tasty but small and only 3. Would have liked more. Salmon and risotto were delicious! Enjoyable experience.
We enjoyed an excellent dinner here before attending the Seattle Symphony concert. It was so wonderful that we made reservations for the next time we will be attending the symphony.
Great hidden gem for dinner before our
Concert at Benaroya. Beautiful
Presentation. Especially loved the lemon Merangue pie and the Brie en Croute. Fabulous.
The response options did not always make sense.
Really enjoyed our Muse experience.
Before a Seattle Symphony concert, I took my lady to a surprise dinner. She loved the gesture and loved the restaurant. The service was top-notch. The food was very well prepared, with great visual presentation, and delicious. You are paying for all of that, of course, and once in a while it is a great place to go.
Our dinner, with 2 and 3 courses, one glass one wine, and one fabulous dessert, was $111 before tip. Pricey, to be sure, but a great special occasion option.
Excellent restaurant for before symphony concert meal. Lovely atmosphere, tasty food, and quick efficient service.
A lovely, calm restaurant at Beneroyal Hall for a drink and dinner before the symphony. I had an onion tartlet and braised short ribs. Tartlet could have used some seasoning. The short ribs were fork tender. Cocktails were also very good. It’s especially nice to have such a no hassle option before the symphony.
People will expect that you have tickets to see a show
Wonderful venue, fabulous meal, relaxing, great city views and then a leisurely stroll to our seats before the concert at Benaroya Hall. We will definitely do it again! What a great evening with my son celebrating his 30th birthday.
The Muse is a great restaurant by any standard, but if you also happen to be attending a performance of the Seattle Symphony later that evening, then you can easily combine the two experiences as they're both in the same building.
We arrived just after they opened (6:-00pm) and were able to have our pick of seating, choosing a table by the window. They offer a fixed-price menu, of either two ($40) or three ($50) courses: an appetizer, soup or salad, followed by the entree, and optionally dessert. You don't have to decide up front. My wife started with a sweet onion tartlet, followed by an 8-oz king salmon. I had an ahi tuna tartare, with a spaghetti squash entree. A light whole wheat bread proceeded the appetizer. We accompanied this with a nice Riesling. At this point we were full, and (regretfully) declined dessert. Everything was delicious. The cost, with the wine and tax, came to $108.
A fine dining experience is more than good food. The service provided by the staff was excellent as well. Our waiter was friendly, attentive and helpful--including finding a seat cushion for my wife, and going back to get more information on the wine we had enjoyed.
We were there to celebrate my wife's birthday--and she's still telling her friends about it.
Muse was so quiet and relaxing that it felt special. Everything was great. Definitely on the do again list.
Everything was fabulous- terrific salad, the salmon was crispy on thwe outside but not over done. The noise level is wonerful for visiting, the service perfect for before the concert. So easy and convenient but more than this- it's just an excellent dining exp
Excellent for pre- concert dining; sets wonderful tone for the concert. Beautiful setting, Well paced service, Tasty and attractively plated appetizers, main courses and desserts.
Park your car in the theater garage, leave your coat in the car, avoid the rain and cold, take the elevator to the restaurant and concert hall.
Very convenient and very nice restaurant to dine at when you are going to the Symphony. It is pricey!
For us, a restaurant meal like the one we had at Muse is an occasional treat, but we were not at all disappointed. The room, the food, the service all met or exceeded our expectations and made the splurge worth the cost. Being able simply to walk down the hall to the entrance to the symphony concert hall was really great, even though it was not raining outside. We do not visit Seattle often but will definitely return to Muse on future visits.
Delicious pre-symphony me. The price fixe menu took all the stress out of being concerned that we would be late for the concert. Great staff too!
We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at Muse at Benaroya Hall. The food was excellent, and the quiet, low lit atmosphere was very nice. Overall the service was also very good. Our only complaint is that when we paid (in cash) for our meal, we waited over 15 minutes for our change, finally asking for it, and then being shortchanged by nearly a dollar.
Since this was a special evening, the prices were slightly inflated. However the food was very good, the service was excellent, and the ambiance was fantastic as usual. I would recommend this place.
Expensive for the quality of the food. But it is very good for before the Symphony dining.
Not up to the usual standard. Our waitperson had far too many tables.I ordered chicken and it tasted like a whole salt shaker was dumped on top of it. The staff was accommodating and offered me another entry which was good.
We keep returning for all the five star reasons listed above.
The convenience for this place is wonderful. I love being in the same building as the concert.
Dinner was not worth the charge. Serving sizes are small, unsatusfying. Pork was dry, cabbage unappetizing, potatoes bland, dessert small. I totally wanted to go eat at McDonald's afterwards.
Also, my date did not get the selection ordered, and settled for the chicken instead
The food and service was outstanding. The price for the prix fixe was a little high for the amount of food. Great atmosphere
The Wait Staff we’re having a terrible time delivering the correct meal to the patron. Their ‘system’ was definitely not working. Not just once, but continuously. No more braised beef. Just a pork loin that was somewhat tough and moderately warm. This time, I was not impressed.
