Outdoor dining is always subject to the weather, including temperature and the staff went out of their way to keep our table as warm as possible.
Everything was very nice except it was cold and windy at our table. Front doors open and another door in the dining room open. Waiter closed it for us but other workers kept opening it up again.
Great choices, having lots of seafood in addition to a duck dish, and a great steak. We started by sharing the scallops and the pureed mushroom and wild rice soup, both of which were excellent. The halibut was moist and the steak was perfectly cooked & juicy. The wine by the glass list was extensive.
Beautiful way to watch the sun rise over the Bay - sitting outside with friends, heaters and coffee. Love the Saturday morning brunch menu. Will definitely come again!
Loved dining with our family of five outside at 8pm in October with beautiful nieces. What a treat’
Fantastic food next to a uniquely magnificent view of the Golden Gate bridge. Truly inspired flavors that will make a memory of a lifetime.
I feel the main courses for lunch were rather limited.
The burger was overdone, the bun was dry. Waitstaff tried to clear the table before the party was completely done. Requested a second glass of wine and was brought an empty wine glass!
A shame as the atmosphere is fantastic!
We had a wonderful breakfast with a beautiful view. Food and service were on point and it was all very comfortable.
Unique dining experience with exceptional food, service and views
Food & service was good but $20 for 2 scallops was a bit much.
Celebrated a birthday. I just said birthday on the online reservation. The hostess noted and wished my husband a happy birthday. The waiter wished him a happy birthday. They added a couple of chocolates and a “happy birthday “ chocolate oval on a plate at dessert. And the hostess said good night and wished hb again as we left.
Husbands salmon and my crab cake were excellent. Corn chowder really good. We can recommend the warm chocolate cake and the bees and blossoms desserts.
Lovely bay/city/bridge views, too!
We had dinner and breakfast at Murray Circle. Both meals were excellent. Staff was attentive and friendly, but they did not "hover." The meals are expensive, but the food is good and the ambiance is EXCELLENT.
The food was very tasty and the portions were plenty. The ahi poke was beautifully balanced. A nice place to splurge
Service was spotty.
Food was excellent and we enjoyed the peaceful setting and beautiful view.
This is my favorite place in Nor Cal!!
Everything was perfect about our experience. The day was slightly overcast and rainy and prior to our arrival, Murray Circle called us to ask if we’d like to move inside. A very nice touch. Good was delicious and the service very attentive.
Server did not ask if the meal was ok..did not bring butter or jam to table ..just dropped breakfast never to be seen again.
This was our first time dining indoors at Murray, and we lucked out when we were given a lovely and very private spot in the corner of the bar. Our server couldn't have been any more friendly, the cocktails were delicious (albeit overpriced), there's a great wine list and the food was spot on. My wife and I shared the swordfish and the vegetarian rice dish and our friends had the duck pasta. No one left hungry or thirsty!
The setting is special and I'm happy to pay for that, but our brunch at Murray Circle was very expensive and for that I also expect very good or at least better than average food. Unfortunately that wasn't our experience. The beignets we ordered as an appetizer were like bread and cold at the center - evidently frozen, then not completely warmed. The hollandaise on my wife's crab benedict was less than great and it was served with a slice of tomato, which was weird. My brioche french toast was do dry I had to smother it in syrup (and needed to ask for extra syrup to do that) just to make it palatable. So, the setting is terrific but on this visit Murray Circle struck as serving passable food at best for very high proces.
Loved dining outside and seeing the Golden Gate Bridge! Great food and service
We had such a great experience! I love that they ask the occasion for the reservation. We were having a date night and the table that was reserved for us was perfect. We were seated in a corner booth, next to the fireplace. It was so great. Our dinner and dessert were delicious.
We went up to Cavallo Point for our anniversary and got massages. Then we had the most spectacular brunch here. There was so many things on the menu I wanted, it was hard to choose! But everything we ordered was great, and we’ll certainly be back.
Have dined here many times and been pleased, however this time the food was lackluster and waitstaff was stuffy. For the price, the food needs to be perfect, and this was not the case.
Our reservation was for 2:15. They had given our table to someone beforehand telling them they would need to leave by 2:10. We did not get seated until 2:50. (and they supposedly only give you a 2 hr limit at the table.) We ordered an appetizer which never came. The wait staff was changing shift when we were seated. Since we were seated at the time we were, our menu was very limited. People sitting at the table next to us were able to order from another menu with much more and better options. For the price and for the anticipation of eating at this venue, we were all disappointed. I don't think I would recommend the restaurant to anyone.
Husband and I had a nice date night. Service was great!
My reservation was with Open Table - don't do this! Call the restaurant if you don't mind being put on hold for ?? minutes. I had to make a time change and when we got to restaurant discovered that out table would be inside instead of out as was confirmed in the original reservation. A discussion with the hostess ensued - no dice! We ate inside on what was one of the most sensational days in the Bay Area. Very , very disappointing.
Murray Circle never disappoints. The food is wonderful. The staff is great and attentive. The views are to die for. There isn’t anything for me to complain about. The place is fantastic!
Great food and service!! Will return. Again. Fantastic place!!
I came here for a Saturday brunch. What a great surprise this gem is! It is a hotel restaurant but it rivals any good brunch place in the City. We splurged and got a lot of items. The Meyer Lemon pancakes and they were superb. You can't tell the are gluten free. The meat/cheese tray was great. The Thai Watermelon Salad was the star! It is a must order. We also loved the burrata - delicious. We had the chia parfait and it was okay, but the only dish we thought we could do without. The outdoor seating has a breath taking view of Golden Gate Bridge. I live in San Francisco and I would come across the bridge for this.
Love to eat here and enjoy the view. We celebrated my daughter's 30th birthday at the spa and then had brunch at Murrary Circle. Had a simple scramble and it was cold. :(. Normally would have sent it back but given the current Covid situation and lack of staff, decided not to but was really bummed out. Cold eggs, no good.
Beautiful environment. Mediocre food
Both the receptionist and server were personable, attentive and professional. All wore masks and kept safe distances.
The staff overall could not have done more to make our evening perfect.
Other diners were the only downside. They were loud and inconsiderate of people trying to enjoy an evening out.
Way overpriced for what you get!
Some nice views and our waiter was helpful.
Otherwise ….. I would definitely spend my money elsewhere.
Excellent Eggs Benedict and cappuccino with rock sugar sticks added a sweet touch!
Several wait staff people attended us. Due to COVID there is a shortage of experienced, sophisticated wait people in the restaurant industry. We all need to be patient. Our needs were met. Our anniversary was acknowledged.
