This was a special treat during our Covid 19 year. We felt very safe, dining outdoors on a beautiful evening.
Cute place for happy hour
We were grateful for the Covid precautions Murray Circle has in place. We waited quite a while to be served and when presented the food was very good. Our waiter was fine, nothing exemplary. The setting is so peaceful.
Great food and service.
Beautiful background as well
Food and service were spectacular both times we had breakfast. Ambiance is great, but slightly reduced due to the plastic sheeting and its support structure that distorts/blocks the gorgeous views. Just nit-picking really, but still.
Pricey, but tasty
I am grateful I discovered this hidden gem. It is my new ‘go to’ when family and friends come to visit or if my girlfriends and I just want to enjoy a nice evening out. Everything is perfect here; great service, good ambiance, plenty of parking and only a short drive over the amazing Golden Gate bridge.
Super slow service we sat for nearly 10 minutes before someone approached us, upon greeting the soft spoken limited English gentleman couldn’t take our order. However he came back stating he would take the order.
Food just ok for the price, no coffee refills, I left the table and told my wife to pay since I am in the business and it was a complete sacrilege to watch the poor quality service
What is not to love? Great Food; AMAZING Waitstaff all around; Views to die for; Historic venue. Cannot wait to return.
Always excellent. Food and ambiance can't be beat.
We used to love going to Farley Bar. The food used to be really good, given that it came from the Murray Circle kitchen. Now it seems, during the pandemic, that the chef must be on vacation and whoever is left doesn't really care. The prices are still steep, but honestly the food we had was nothing to write home about. The risotto was sticky and soggy and bland. The Murray Circle version of Waldorf salad was OK except for one this: it seemed to have no dressing on it at all, so it was just a pile of apples, nuts and other things. The upper level balcony is all lit up and looks festive, but we were on the lower balcony, which was quite dark and gloomy. Too bad. Total $$ was more than $300 for three people. Not going back until the pandemic is over. Then we'll give it another try to see if it's come back to life. Not happy.
I am a local and have always loved to visit this bar and the restaurant. We went there for a birthday dinner. The food and location are still great, but service has changed. A snooty hostess and uninspiring waiter that seemed like he'd rather be home just changes the mood. I get it's Covid times but this place has so much to offer and can be really great again. Fix the service, place a candle (and maybe a table cloth) on the tables to match the quality of the food and location, and you're back in business.
The food and service was fantastic. I felt like all their Covid protocols made me feel safe eating outdoors. Lots of heaters and a beautiful view of the Golden Gate bridge. Our server Paul was wonderful and suggested a great wine. We celebrated my husband's birthday and would recommend this restaurant to anyone.
Beautiful meal for our anniversary
Wonderful to sit outside on the porch eating delicious food while looking at the Golden Gate Bridge!
Great food, great service, great views from our table on the upstairs outside balcony
Food was great. I has the chicken salad. It was our second group lunch there and will go back again.
Our server Fredrick was great! Food was awesome and the view was amazing.
Just an amazing place and one of the best Covid-safe fine dining experiences in the Bay Area.
The staff tho. What a great group of folks. Go, eat, drink, watch the ships go by and let these people earn a living.
Great place...covered porch with a great view. Ideal for Covid
Upper balcony was very nice dinning.
Comfortable with the heaters and not windy.
Great viewing of the Golden Gate Bridge and bay.
Truly a beautiful spot with delicious cocktails and food and one we will return too often.
Felt very safe and clean. The timing of tables around us made it so we still had our masks on while those nearest ate, and they finished by the time we ate. The weather was surprising beautiful and not foggy, so much so they even put up umbrellas to help with the heat from the sun. The food was delicious and waitstaff was friendly and helpful.
Great spot! When covid passes be nice to have a table cloth.
we were seated outside on 2nd floor for lunch. Nice views of the lawn and marina to water and city beyond. they put up umbrellas for shade, and good waiter. My beet and pear salad was very good (could have used more beets), the fries pretty good and my friend's Croque Madame was good.
The park property is nice - take a walk up to the WW2 historic overlook above the Yacht club (which is also historic and only outdoor service for drinks + ice cream at Travis Marina bar...used to have some live music). The pier also has great views.
Great for a Sat or Sun salmon BLT or lobster benedict with a view. Heated porch seating.
We had a beautiful lunch on the porch at Murray Circle restaurant. It was a blustery, rainy day, but between the heat lamps, the plastic enclosure, and the shade, we were cozy.
The Covid19 protocol is excellent! They've thought of everything to keep us safe and well fed!
Ideal setting for crabcakes, ribs, salads, Brussels sprouts and drinks.
COVID protocols are observed. The view from the balcony was lovely and ample heat lamps cancelled the chilly weather. The bar is open for make & take away only.
wonderful food, great quality, good service and quiet ambience. A definite favorite!
Lovely ambiance. Good oysters.
Service this time was poor: no one came near our table for 15 minutes.
We were not told that you add $3.00 to a straight up martini.
It was our anniversary, and we were disappointed.
Sitting outside enjoying our delicious meals from the lunch menu with the beautiful view made me almost forget the pandemic. It was a much needed break and we appreciated the friendly, efficient service.
It was a fantastic evening. The food was great and so was the service. It was safe and relaxing. We have not been out in a while because of COVID concerns. Everything was handled well to put our minds at easy and allow us to enjoy a wonderful evening.
The food was delicious! Not a thing was left on our plates. The restaurant took proper safety and distancing measures. The view was gorgeous & the heat lamps generously used to keep us comfortable.
Great brunch. The food was good, the view was great and the service was very good.
The place We feel most comfortable for dining in the time of corona. The crabcakes and duck confit are both delicious. The poached pear dessert was fabulous. there is a nice selection of wines by the glass.
The food was as always amazing, our waitress was really on it and very attentive! She gave a good cocktail recommendation and just made sure we were happy with everything. She was really great! Im glad there were heat lamps!
This was our first time there. We were very grateful to be seated outside on the patio. It was getting a little chilly but they did have a heat lamp. Definitely bring a thick coat. The food was delicious and our server was great. We noticed how they calmly and kindly addressed the table next to us who were over their allotted 2 hour limit. Overall, a lovely experience especially during this difficult COVID time.
We really miss the Bento boxes at lunch. They were delicious and unusual.
Beautiful views, fantastic food, give it a try you will not be disappointed
