Awesome. Food was absolutely great. I would come back.
Great food, amazing service. I would highly recommend to anyone visiting NOLA.
They offered 5 dishes on Mother's Day. They ran out of the steak. I ordered the trout with jumbo lump crabmeat. They ran out of crab and topped it with Crawfish instead without letting us know. The appetizers came out barely lukewarm. We asked for bread and were told they did not have any bread. We then asked for crackers which they brought, but no butter. My fish came out piping hot, but had a long hair in it. They took it back to make a new one which took about 20 minutes. My family had all finished their meals, so I ate alone on Mother's Day. Also, when I finally did receive it, it was not piping hot. I have also been there for Easter and many of the same issues. They apparently can't handle the crowds on holidays. Not impressive at all.
Food was great, wish there would of been more food available on the menu
What a wonderful Mother's Day Brunch! Muriel's is such a beautiful place to dine. We took advantage of the three course offering and enjoyed the chance to slow down our dining experience first with a Fleur de Lis cocktail. We began with the crawfish crepes, moved on to crawfish cakes on top of a corn maque choux, and ended with crème brule. Such an exquisite meal. We were not rushed and thoroughly enjoyed every bite! Muriel's also offers their own Russian River Valley Chardonnay which was very good. What was even better is the fact that it was a short walk from our hotel. Not our first time visiting, and we will be back.
Great Mother’s Day luncheon! Good food and drink and excellent service. Very enjoyable experience!
The food and service were both excellent! Shrimp and grits were amazing!
Service started a bit slow. When we had issues with our meal we had to ask another server our server never returned after bringing dinner out.
The staff, food, and views were all amazing! We had balcony seating right above the front doors and could see Jackson Square and the crowds go by the whole time. Staff was incredibly attentive and polite and prompt.
We had a table on the balcony and high hopes for our dinner. Unfortunately, it was very windy and our table overlooked a homeless man that was half dressed and openly exploring his body parts on the street. The turtle soup was delicious! One of us ordered fish that was overcooked. The other had shrimp and grits - they were very good. Our bread pudding for dessert was tasty but nothing special. We enjoyed nice cocktails and overall it was a pleasant experience.
Our favorite New Orleans restaurant, K-Paul’s Louisiana Kitchen has closed, but Muriel’s is a good replacement. Good food, good wine, good service, couldn’t have asked for more.
Everything was great. They even had a second line going through Jackson square
The staff are incredible and went out of the way to make sure we had a wonderful experience! When you visit NOLA, I definitely recommend the dining experience and seance room/lounge afterwards.
The balcony view was amazing. From apps to desserts all were top notch.
Very nice restaurant in a great location. Service was very good. Food was good but not exceptional. Honestly the most memorable thing was the bread pudding and Muriel’s coffee. Wine selection was very limited and red wine not served in proper glassware.
Dinner was great. We did sit at the Ghost table. Not really worth the additional $50 especially seeing it was next to the staircase to go up. Sit in the main dining room or balcony and save the extra $50.
Great food and service. The bread pudding was amazing! Best dessert we had in New Orleans.
Best meal we’ve had in New Orleans, not just this 10 day visit, but several previous visits as well. All three of us had the 3-course dinner and every dish that we had was outstanding. I had the onion tart, which is exceptionally tasty, and my friends both loved the turtle soup. My entree was the Gulf fish, which was grouper and delicious. We all had the bread pudding and it was also amazing
I’ve had a second home in the Quarter for 20 years and have probably eaten at Muriel’s over 50 times previously, but this was my first dinner there since Covid began. It has always been good, but this was clearly a step above. Whatever they are doing, I hope they keep it up!
The service and food were outstanding. The beat meal we had in NOLA. Even our picky kids loved their meals. Will definitely be back.
Variedad y deliciosa comida, cumplen con el menú gluten FREE y la atención excepcional
This was a girls weekend so we decided to get dressed up and have dinner at a nice hotel with great views and excellent service. We were immediately seated and the excellent service started. Our order was taken timely and our food arrived within an appropriate period. The food was hot and delicious. We ordered the fixed price menu which included appetizers, entree and dessert. The appetizer was amazing - goat and crawfish crepes. I recommend this restaurant for adults in a group of family, friends or co workers.
Fantastic experience. The staff is so incredibly friendly and it was so easy to ask for recommendations and get to know them. The food was phenomenal and worth every penny. Definitely recommend checking out the rooftop seating overlooking Jackson square, but any area of the restaurant has such a unique ambiance. The staff reallly put the experience over the top and I loved it
Food was outstanding
Food was incredible and the ambiance was exactly what was expected. The only issue we had is one of our servers wasnt the friendliest but the gentleman server was so nice and personable.
Such a beautiful historic place. Delicious food and drinks!
Had a great meal at Muriels!!! Good food, good service!
Perfect meal! It was delicious
The food was amazing and service was great ! Loved sitting in the courtyard. We enjoyed our evening very much!
Outstanding experience! Ask about the ghost table and your host or hostess will share some history. The food was amazing. Highly recommend the shrimp and grits.
Really really nice, quiet, and romantic. I would for sure, recommend! Food was excellent and my husband absolutely loved it.
Food was amazing, especially the pork chop!
Very nice views of Jackson Square and French Quarter. Lots of tour groups stop across from the restaurant as part of the Ghost Tour. Great food and service.
Food and service are excellent. For me otherthings matter less.
I was seated in a dark corner, so did not feel the ambiance. But the tasty food and wonderful service outweigh.
It was so amazing to sit up on the balcony. Very private since its reservation only. My server was very nice and food came out quickly and was very delicious. I'll definitely return next time im in Nola!
The energy, the food l and the service were all wonderful!
For all the hype I really expected more. Pork was dry, service was iffy. There was a waiter with at least one assistant and he didn’t have to run food, they had bussers for that. Because of that, service should’ve been great. Instead he just did really fast drive bys without stopping. “Y’all good?” With a thumbs up was all we got.
The only good-ish parts were the drinks. This place has been riding on the hype and the story of it it being haunted for way too long. If you feel like you have to go, just skip the food and go to the bar, have a couple drinks, look for the ghosts and then get the heck out.
We had a very enjoyable evening. Great food & service, right off Jackson Square.
Went here for dinner with 3 friends. The experience was lovely the food was amazing. Our server Phillip was attentive. I will definitely say I’ll be back.
We reserved Muriel's for my husband's 40th birthday dinner. It was myself, my husband and our two children (both are under age 10). Everyone we encountered was very kind. I tagged the restaurant in my Instagram post and whoever manages their social media also reached out with kind words. My kids especially loved the "Clean Plate" reward (even though they still had food left over, they still got the reward). We're only a two hour drive from NOLA but we don't get to visit as often as we'd like. We'll be back here as soon as we can!
