Love the restaurant’s ambiance and decor. Food was good except shrimp omelet has too spicy. Really enjoyed the crab & artichoke dip and salmon toast!! If want a leisurely brunch, don’t get last seating. Overall very happy.
One of the best meals we have had in NOLA and we have been coming to NOLA for 35 years.
Beautiful balcony setting
Considering location (right on Jackson Square) and ambiance (well dressed hosts and managers, fancy decor), this was a nice prix fixe menu of a moderate price ($45/p). Drinks (wine and cocktails) were $11-15 or so.
Food was good. Service was good. I would recommend.
You can dress up for this place or just meet their "sharp casual" requirement.
Covid protocols seemed adequate.
We thoroughly enjoyed this dining experience. During this pandemic, it’s hard to find places that you feel comfortable and safe (health-wise). We were impressed with the level to which they encouraged wearing masks. They required them upon entrance and anytime interacting with wait staff......this makes so much sense to me. While we ate, they checked on us from a distance and only approached when water or wine needed replenishing. The way they have tables partitioned off provided a very intimate (and safe) dining experience. All of this attention coupled with delicious food made for an enjoyable birthday dinner.
In the heart of the French Quarter at Jackson Square this restaurant knows how to do it right! Even in these Covid times are they are still making great food and have lost nothing in the atmosphere. With 2 servers for each table, one for entree and one for beverages no drink goes empty and no empty dish sits on the table. Top notch Louisiana fare or French American. The goat cheese crepes will make you want to lick you plate! I love Muriel's and so does my family.
Good food, great service.
GREAT location! Right across the street from Jackson Square. Our waiters Ryan and Anthony were very professional and helpful as this was our first time visiting. Their cocktails were amazing and the food was very good and Instagram post worthy! Would definitely recommend!
Muriels for brunch never disappoints! The shrimp and grits is the best I’ve ever had. Amazing food and amazing service!
I was a bit apprehensive about dining the quarter, but I felt very safe with the social distancing between tables. The food and staff were wonderful!!
Food was amazing!!!!!
Great food, great service, gorgeous place!
Wonderful dinner at Muriel's in the heart of New Orleans! Enjoyed a delicious meal in a quiet, cozy setting.
As frequent visitors to New Orleans we have eaten at numerous higher end restaurants and were very disappointed by Muriel's. The food was not good at all and most of the staff were not friendly. As two parties of four, we tried almost everything on the very limited menu and not one of us was happy with our meal. The steak was very tough although the sauce on top was delicious. The snapper was passable but everything else (except the cocktails) were a huge disappointment. With so many great restaurants in New Orleans, Muriel's really needs to step up their game!
The food was DELICIOUS and the staff was attentive and so friendly and welcoming. Covid procedures were ON POINT and we felt very safe.
Best service we have had. Wish I had known about pre fixe menu. Lots of great options and everything was tasty. Offered kids menu. I loved Louis.
My family loved the Sunday brunch at Muriel’s. The service was good, the food was excellent, and we could people-watch out the window. This was our first time here but we will come back when we are back in town. Highly recommended.
Everything about this experience was perfect. We had a brunch with our group of 8 to celebrate two birthdays. Phillip was very attentive and made sure everything was special. Food was outstanding. Would definitely go back the next time I’m in New Orleans.
Muriel’s has always been our ‘go to’ favorite restaurant. We have a condo across from Muriel’s so that was a big bonus!! We have eaten there many times after the reopening during the pandemic 😷
My husband has always loved their double cut pork chop. He has ordered it 2 or 3 times since reopening and it’s been over cooked and dry each time. I’ve asked if they have the same chef prior to shutdown and been told yes. Not sure what has happened to the pork chop but I don’t recommend it.
Now the Filet, which is what I always order, is great!!!
Amazing!!!
Phenomenal service! We were treated like royalty throughout our entire experience.
Nice historic building and a good ambiance. Food is very good and service is good. Ask your server about the ghost :)
Absolutely fantastic from start to finish
All the food was excellent. Each of us ordered different food each course and shared a bit. Muriel’s was 9 for 9 on their dishes! Would recommend highly to all.
The food and service were excellent. The staff were very well trained and treated us as if we were long time customers.
Service was outstanding food was good but the service outstanding.
Great experience! Took my wife and children, and they loved the French Quarter setting. The balcony views are marvelous, the seance rooms outstanding, and overall feel is fun! Great place!
EAT AT MURIEL’S!!!
My wife was browsing for a place to eat on Saturday nighT. She found Muriel’s! Now, for years, I had heard nothing but rave reviews about Muriel’s so I said “let’s do it!”.
Without boring you I will say, from the time we sat down to the time we signed the bill and left; it was an INCREDIBLE dining experience! The service was impeccable, every bite was better than the last, the space itself was beautiful! I would recommend Muriel’s to anybody looking for a fantastic restaurant experience while in the French Quarter.
Located on the corner next to the St.Louis Cathedral it is the perfect spot for a date night in the Quarter.
Food was outstanding, great service. Fine dining prices, but also offered 3 courses meal for reasonable price.
Great service, meals delicious. Recommend the chocolate cake
Surprised our service was as bad as it was. The food is usually superb but it just didn’t measure up this visit. I took friends for their first time and was embarrassed. I hope it was just a glitch... Muriel’s is always such a pleasure to visit!
Great food. Beautiful building. Excellent service.
Ended up spending $300+, service was bad, ordered a bottle of white wine only to be brought to the table warm. Asked for bread but told no bread service. Save your money and go elsewhere.
New Year’s Eve
Best dinner we had on our trip! The Margarita was exceptional
The location was great, and the atmosphere was lovely. It was a nice intimate setting. Our waitress Sara was very attentive and knowledgeable about the food and building history. The three course menu was priced reasonably and the food was amazing. Well worth visiting again.
we had an amazing new years eve menue of 3 courses. the price of 54 dollar per person was really good and the food especially the chicken and the onion tarte were outstanding
Amazing all the the way around!!!
Perfect place. Will be back for sure.
Delicious meal and phenomenal service. The pork chop was absolutely delicious.
We sat on the balcony on a beautiful evening. We chose the 3 course meal which worked out perfectly for us. My husband had the wedge salad, roasted chicken, and creme brûlée's. I chose the boudin egg rolls, shrimp & grits (TO DIE FOR), and the white chocolate bread pudding(TO DIE FOR). We will dine here again when returning to New Orleans.
