Muriel’s has always been our ‘go to’ favorite restaurant. We have a condo across from Muriel’s so that was a big bonus!! We have eaten there many times after the reopening during the pandemic 😷
My husband has always loved their double cut pork chop. He has ordered it 2 or 3 times since reopening and it’s been over cooked and dry each time. I’ve asked if they have the same chef prior to shutdown and been told yes. Not sure what has happened to the pork chop but I don’t recommend it.
Now the Filet, which is what I always order, is great!!!
Phenomenal service! We were treated like royalty throughout our entire experience.
Absolutely fantastic from start to finish
All the food was excellent. Each of us ordered different food each course and shared a bit. Muriel’s was 9 for 9 on their dishes! Would recommend highly to all.
The food and service were excellent. The staff were very well trained and treated us as if we were long time customers.
Service was outstanding food was good but the service outstanding.
Great experience! Took my wife and children, and they loved the French Quarter setting. The balcony views are marvelous, the seance rooms outstanding, and overall feel is fun! Great place!
EAT AT MURIEL’S!!!
My wife was browsing for a place to eat on Saturday nighT. She found Muriel’s! Now, for years, I had heard nothing but rave reviews about Muriel’s so I said “let’s do it!”.
Without boring you I will say, from the time we sat down to the time we signed the bill and left; it was an INCREDIBLE dining experience! The service was impeccable, every bite was better than the last, the space itself was beautiful! I would recommend Muriel’s to anybody looking for a fantastic restaurant experience while in the French Quarter.
Located on the corner next to the St.Louis Cathedral it is the perfect spot for a date night in the Quarter.
Food was outstanding, great service. Fine dining prices, but also offered 3 courses meal for reasonable price.
Great service, meals delicious. Recommend the chocolate cake
Surprised our service was as bad as it was. The food is usually superb but it just didn’t measure up this visit. I took friends for their first time and was embarrassed. I hope it was just a glitch... Muriel’s is always such a pleasure to visit!
Great food. Beautiful building. Excellent service.
Ended up spending $300+, service was bad, ordered a bottle of white wine only to be brought to the table warm. Asked for bread but told no bread service. Save your money and go elsewhere.
New Year’s Eve
Best dinner we had on our trip! The Margarita was exceptional
The location was great, and the atmosphere was lovely. It was a nice intimate setting. Our waitress Sara was very attentive and knowledgeable about the food and building history. The three course menu was priced reasonably and the food was amazing. Well worth visiting again.
we had an amazing new years eve menue of 3 courses. the price of 54 dollar per person was really good and the food especially the chicken and the onion tarte were outstanding
Amazing all the the way around!!!
Perfect place. Will be back for sure.
Delicious meal and phenomenal service. The pork chop was absolutely delicious.
We sat on the balcony on a beautiful evening. We chose the 3 course meal which worked out perfectly for us. My husband had the wedge salad, roasted chicken, and creme brûlée's. I chose the boudin egg rolls, shrimp & grits (TO DIE FOR), and the white chocolate bread pudding(TO DIE FOR). We will dine here again when returning to New Orleans.
Amazing food but a staff that doesn’t like people. It was a beautiful place but our two servers were cold, served us our check with our desert and were just not engaging. Almost like they were annoyed we were there and they weren’t even busy. Could have been a great experience but they are definitely hiring the wrong people.
Excellent food and service, as always. I wish there were more seafood dishes on the Pris Fixes menu.
Amazing service and very professional staff. The food was unbelievable!
Took my mom while she was visiting for the weekend. It was a great experience. Highly recommend.
My party and I was truly excited about dinning here because we heard so many wonderful things. The entire experience was below standard from the host, the servers and the food. We are locals and the food was cold, and the portions was unacceptable. Covid-19 guidelines were not being followed. I'm going to assume this restaurant caters to tourist. I DO NOT recommend dinning here if you are a local and looking for a good dinner or experience.
We are from Chicago! The restaurant was awesome! Amazing food and great flavors in every dish. The 3 course meal was the best option!
Enjoyable all-around experience, would visit again.
Lovely restaurant with excellent food. Appreciate the effort they put to socially distance and wear masks.
When we are in New Orleans we always go to Muriel’s at least once. I love the ambiance ans the food never disappoints.
We absolutely loved our dining experience at Muriel's. Food, service and ambiance were all outstanding! We enjoyed the seafood gumbo, filet mignon and creme brulee.....all superb! We would highly recommend this place for a true New Orleans dining experience conveniently located in Jackson Square in the heart of the French Quarter.
Muriels brandy milk punch is my favorite drink ever in the quarter. The food, service, and feel of the restaurant is amazing
Beautiful and perfect!
Everything was wonderful. The drinks were great, the food was delicious and the staff was extremely polite and on their game.
Everything was no phenomenal. It was 45 degrees outside and they still allowed us to dine outside on their second floor balcony. Several others had chosen to dine outside as well. It was chilly but we are only patio dining due to Covid. Service and food was excellent. We were even serenaded by a musician in Jackson Square. (Dropped a nice tip down to him.) My only advice would be to add a couple of outdoor portable heaters as a few other restaurants had done.
The experience was phenomenal! We went there for my daughter’s birthday and we’re not disappointed. Food and service were outstanding.
Always great food and service. Noise level was perfect
Salmon was outstanding!
The reservation was great. We were thrilled to share a meal and couple appetizers. They were all fantastic. The Pork Chop and Egg rolls our favorites. The crepe was tasty. It was a Birthday celebration and they offered us dessert, though we had plenty already. We finished the evening with a cocktail at the lower bar, then headed upstairs for some more oh wow enjoyment of the fabulous atmosphere that is found here.
Our server was outstanding. We never had to look for her when we needed something.
The interior of the restaurant was lovely and there was minimal noise so you can hold a quiet conversation and enjoy your meal.
