The service was probably the best I have ever had anywhere. The food was phenomenal. I had turtle soup, pecan encrusted baby drum, and bread pudding. My wife had soup, shrimp and grits, and creme brûlée. All of these were great. We each had 2 cocktails. None of those were spectacular, but all were decent. We will definitely go back next time we’re in NOLA.
Excellent food and atmosphere. Dining with vegetarian friends and their meals were to a high standard.
Went to Muriels with 4 friends for restaurant week as I'm here from NY for a convention. The meal was spectacular! Even the warm bread to start was amazing! I would highly recommend the shrimp and grits and my friends said the salmon and pork chop were equally delectable. And the bread pudding with the rum sauce was out of the world good! The staff were so friendly, curteous and very effieicient. The ambiance was very authentic to the area. I loved how it was an old converted house! I would recommend without hesitation and will come back next time I am in town.
Muriel’s was absolutely perfect! The location, the ambiance, the service, and of course the food! Everyone in our party did the three course dinner option and were blown away with each plate. We will return to Muriel’s the next time we’re in New Orleans for sure.
The set menu for restaurant week was like eating in a pub. Thought it would be more interesting. Appetiser of pancakes and shrimp was delicious. Drinks weren’t cheap so limited ourselves to one.
They made our family celebration very special. Wonderful ambiance, you really feel like you have gone back in time.
A very nice evening, good cooking, personal kindly, but too noisly for this kind of restaurant
Must go to place
Wonderful food and service. RJ and Ryan were two of the best servers I’ve ever had. They treated my mom and I great and even spent extra time taking us upstairs and telling us a bit of the restaurants history which was the main reason we came. I’ve been to a wedding at Muriel’s and now a regular dinner. I don’t think I will ever be able to go back to New Orleans without making a stop at Muriel’s. Easily one of the best places.
Vraiment très bon et très agréable personnel au petit soin je recommande vivement ce restaurant
Really not as good as last times we were there. Turtle soup not particularly good, where previously thought best in city. Didn't like boudin balls at all, pork chop way too salty. Serine excellent.
We had a memorable 26th Anniversary dinner. We sat by the window and enjoyed the evening glow. The shrimp and grits were amazing, it was delicious, comforting and unforgettable. The food service was excellent, the staff was very attentive.
Loved the food and the service. The only thing which fell short was the Margarita, but I’m not in Los Angeles and I guess few people drink them here. It like it was made with lime cordial and I downed it in one hoping the tequila would help me forget the taste. Maybe the barman took a break as it was middle afternoon. I’ll try one next time I come and ask if I can watch it be made - instruct if necessary.
The best food in New Orleans thus far. The food was amazing. I even enjoyed the oysters which I rarely like or eat. Everything was portioned perfectly and nothing was overly salted and cooked perfectly.
Perfect meal and ambiance. Make sure to get a table by the window to see the horse and carriages. Everything was exceptional. We will be back!
Our 1 vacation brunch.
Overall we really enjoyed the dining experience. The crab cake was fantastic and the entrees were very good. There was a super loud table that took away from the ambience.
I believe my breakfast was one of the best that I have ever eaten. They featured a salmon omelet that was superb. The seasoning/herbs were sublime. I would love to have the recipe. The entire experience was lovely. . . such a beautiful building and the location could not be better.
Amazing food, reasonable prices! Great ambiance
Very good food. Service was great and price was reasonable. Parking on the riverfront was not too expensive and walking distance was close. Chose Muriel's to celebrate after my daughter received her high school senior ring and was pleased with the choice. We will be back due to this excellent experience.
The service and food were great. The cost was about what you would expect to pay at an upscale restaurant. The only downside is the area it is in. Right outside the central park area. It was very dirty and and full of panhandlers but that basically sums the entire French Quarter in New Orleans.
Food was excellent as well as our waiter. I will definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone!
Loved everything. Jazz brunch was a great start to our vacation. The drum fish dish was delicious and my new favorite bread pudding in the world.
Great as always. We eat brunch at Muriel’s every time we go to NOLA.
Had a great time at Sunday Jazz Brunch, Labor Day weekend. The food was delicious and a good time was had by all!
The whole experience was exceptional. The staff were all professional and friendly.
Definitely still our go to place when visiting NOLA. One of the oldest restaurants around. Shrimp and goat cheese crepes are outstanding!
One of the top 100 meals I’ve had, without a doubt, and I get around. You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu.
We love Muriel’s. We were there for brunch and had the omelette’s. They were excellent. Highly recommend.
The staff was AMAZING! My food came out a little cool and within seconds I had a new plate of food and it was PERFECTION!
Amazing as always! Coolinary has a great choice selection! Yum!
Great food and a professional staff made for a memorable evening.
Their food is amazing. We dine there every time we visit New Orleans .
Chose the coolinary menu. Very generous portions and pleasant service. The goat cheese crepes were outstanding!
Very attentive staff, without being intrusive. Staff had excellent knowledge about the menu, and individual items, including the specials. Made the experience feel very special, even in the easy going and relaxed atmosphere.
This is fine dining and the service was great. I would recommend the turtle soup and the most satisfying pork chop ever. The soup was fresh and the sherry and spices were perfect. The pork chop was thick and the apples and the sauce made for a super combination. Go and taste a meal at Muriels and find your own food heaven.
Muriel’s is outstanding. Great food...excellent crab cake. Great service!!
A great dining experience all around! Food was very good, surroundings historic, great location. Excellent service, a must do when in New Orleans.
Had a wonderful time. Service was exceptional. My daughter enjoyed her visit.
Food is always great. Ambiance is everything! Staff is friendly and attentive. Great place to experience french service and new orleans hospitality!
