A truly exceptional Indian restaurant is a find. Mumbai Tandoor merits such a review. Each of the four members of our party thought that each dish was outstanding. The prices are very reasonable for the quality of the food and the portion sizes.

Service was a bit chaotic but that did not detract from the experience. Each of our party highly recommends Mumbai Tandoor.

We had hoped to order from the menu not realizing that the lunch service was buffet only. This did give us a chance to sample various items which ranged from good to very good. The red snapper was particularly good as was the tandoor chicken which was brought to our table by the extremely pleasant host. We're planning on returning for dinner someday so we can try some different items.

The owner told me he would not check me in for my Open Table points. He told me he has to pay a 20% fee to Open Table. Disappointing.

We shared our entrees and appetizers and enjoyed a delightful evening.

First of all, we are impressed with the service. The owner was very welcoming and courteous to get us seated. The food had a lot of variety for vegans as well as meat lovers. The food is obviously of the Indian origin from all across India. They have alcoholic as well as non alcoholic drinks options.

Food is good-spicy! We were seated by the door and it was cold-especially since we were there for over 2 hours because the service was so slow. It wasn't that busy but they seemed understaffed so everything took a long time. We weren't in a rush and enjoyed our time together but that's too long for a casual restaurant. A party of six with one small appetizer and six meals shouldn't have to wait 90 minutes for the food to come out. We were starving so it tasted especially good but it was quite spicy so be careful how you order.

We were looking for decent INDIAN food in our area and was surprised to see BK ( who was at Peacock) at Mumbai Tandoor! He now owns this place.
Sadly, the decor is just horrendous, the food mediocre but BK is the best ‘host’ and made us feel so welcome, I feel awful not giving his restaurant a better review!

Indian food at its best

Food was ok, Service was not. Had to share a menu, and it was not busy. One wrong entrée brought out. Vegetable entrée ($10.95) looked like watery soup with unrecognizable bits of perhaps vegetables. Entrée portions were rather skimpy for the price. Too long a wait for service and for food to arrive. We will not be going back.

Appetizers very good. Meals: one was fair and the other was bad.

My wife and I were in town for business. We enjoy eating Indian food everywhere we can in our travels. I must say that the lamb in their rogan josh was some of the most tender we've ever had. The prices I would consider very reasonable as well.

We enjoyed the lunch buffet, in particular the butter chicken and red snapper. Also good desserts. BK recommended the Indian tea which was very good. We'll be back

Good Indian restaurant. Jay (the owner) came over to say hello and looked after us. They have a good selection of Indian classics and cater for taste (mild / medium / spicy) for all dishes.
Food was delicious and plenty of it. Indian lager was also good.
Very recommendable and we will be back.
Jay mentioned they do a lunch buffet which is plentiful. We will try that next.

Fantastic food and very attentive service. We had been here in the past, when it was great, then it went through a period when it wasn't very good. We are so happy that BK has returned and the restaurant is back up to par. We will definitely be back to get our delicious Indian food fix.

Great hindu food and service

The owner was amazing and treated us like we were apart of his own family, very welcoming and genuine. I would highly recommend for anyone and especially if you have not had Indian food before. It was my first time and the best I could ask for. The food was hot and fresh and the buffet had a large variety to choose from with desert and salad available and for a reasonable price. They being naan to your table and chicken as well included in the dining experience. The owner explained what all the food was and what spices they were made with but if you don't like much spices they can customize it to your liking. I was nervous at first but so glad I tried it and will definitely be back soon.

The Bathrooms were disgusting. The food was a bit to mundane . My lamb chops were so dried out they were indistinguishable as lamb. The flavors were pretty good but the amount of the portions were very small. I will not be back. Not a good value at all.

Service was impeccable as well as the food, ambiance was lacking a little, but will definitely be back.

Last minute decision to eat here about 15 minutes before they closed. Even though we showed up late, the service was not compromised. Very friendly and attentive staff and excellent food prepared just the way we ordered it. There's no question we would come back again!

Ordered an assortment of Appetizers and Entrees which were all fantastic. The entrees from the Tandoor as well as the Chicken Makhani really stood out. Great place for veterans or those new to Indian (We had both in our group). Look forward to returning soon!

The food was good, especially the Tikka Masala, Butter Chicken and Naan Breads. The service was good. The decor is not exciting and the ambience when we were there wasn't up to much but it was a decent place to go with the family.
