In the heart of the Murray Hill neighborhood, and just steps from Grand Central Station in midtown Manhattan, Mulligan’s Pub is an authentic Irish pub that has been serving regulars and tourists for over 30 years. With one of the largest beer selections in the neighborhood and an extensive menu that includes starters, soups, sandwiches, salads and burgers, the Mulligan’s Pub kitchen has plenty to choose from. Whether you’re in the mood for a Dubliner burger or Irish baked beans or just want to share some potato skins while having a beer, everyone can find something to enjoy.
Mulligan’s Pub is good for large groups or just as a place to pop in after work and unwind. With delicious and hearty pub fare, you can satisfy your hunger while you watch the busy world go by.
After traveling all day then getting stuck in NYC traffic and taking over 2 hrs to get into the city we were tired and hungry by the time we arrived at our hotel. I'm not familiar with this part of nyc so I used my opentable app to find something near by and Mulligans was right next to our hotel. I couldn't believe walking into this pub that at 8pm it was packed the bar was full and all the tables were taken, I knew this was a good sign that the locals love this place. We were seated early and were waited on very quickly. Our food came out hot and quick and was very tasty everything you come to expect from a Irish pub. We liked it so much we came back a couple of times just for drinks!
Pretty decent Irish pub hang out if all you're interested in is having some pints. The food we ordered was not great. Wings were way overdone and too crispy (cooked twice). Salad had blocks of bad cheese in it but the burger and steak were "ok". Our server was nice but we felt like we were being rushed and not really paid attention, even though eating area wasn't full.
Don't think I'll be back here for after work rendezvous again.
Service was not good at the beginning. Server seemed distracted and we had to place our drink order twice before getting our beverages.
