Mother’s Day dinner with my family of five.

Appetizers were good Rice Balls and Calamari. Ordered Mozzarella Capris as well but it never made it to the table.

My wife and daughter both had Cesar salads and they were very good.

Youngest son had Penne ala vodka it was delicious but a bit pricey at $18

Wife and older son both had Veal Parmesan and it had a VERY unusual almost chemical taste. Very disappointing. The veal was tough and the breading was soggy not fried crispy.

I had a rigatoni bolognese that was really tasty and very rich. I am a big guy with a big appetite. I ate about half of my entree.

Deserts were delicious.

Some very good, some very disappointing.

Staff was very pleasant. A bit slow but that is to be expected on a holiday.

We will try them again and hope for more consistent results.

Food was split - half thought it was pretty bland and lifeless, the other half said it was “pretty good”. The winners were the francaise and piccata.

Mulberry Street is the absolute perfect experience from the very start of your visit to very end. It feels like you are just visiting a friends house for dinner. Everything is made from scratch and you can tell with every dish you order. We strongly recommend the filet mignon, pork chop, and my absolute favorite is the Rigatoni Bolognese. Make sure you try to dessert to complete your experience because the cheesecake is perfect.

Chef/owner Paul always makes sure to greet the visitors and the service we’ve received from Amber is always spot on with all of her recommendations.

Maybe it was an off night but the service was dreadfully slow. Almost had to walk my credit card over to the register to pay the bill at the end of the night. The food was good, though.

The soup du jour was excellent, and the spicy shrimp pizza was very good... However, the blackened salmon was served cold and the two tiny eggplant rollaotini's were drowning in a sea of linguini.. Their service is usually pretty good, but I've noted that if your on the outcast side (non-dining room side), the service is just a little slower... Good potential, but needs to sharpen these miscellaneous things up! Also, was disappointed that dessert crepes were not on the menu...

This is a place I’ve passed by many times and never knew what it was. One of my coworkers suggested we go there. The place is nice and quaint. We had reservations for 4 people, the service was the major problem. We waited for almost 2hrs before we got our entrees. Keep in mind we didn’t get any appetizers. The owner was nice and apologetic and offered free desserts for the delay. The food was ok nothing special. I want be back.

Was there on a Saturday evening . There was a special menu celebrating their 16th year of being in business. In honor of this they had a complimentary appetizer table set at one end of the resturant. Unfortunately because of the location of the table you at times had people standing behind you while you were eating. There was also a DJ and the the DJ played a nice selection of dinner music it was too loud.

But these little things did not detract from a wonderful meal because it’s all about the food

The meal was wxcwptional. Everything was prepared to perfection . We had a large party and every meal was wonderful. The Rigatoni Bolognese, the Osso Buco, the salmon the seafood dishes, the chicken Parm all were great. From the appetizers to the desserts we did not hear anything negative about anyone’s meal. And that’s what it’s all about.

Had 5:30 reservations on Valentine’s Day as it was our daughter’s 5th birthday. We sat down immediately, and the restaurant was maybe 40% full. It is not an overly big place but nice atmosphere. We ordered appetizers and it came out fairly quick and was delicious. However it took over an hour to get our entrees AFTER the appetizers came. Our server Melanie was wonderful though, she kept coming out to apologize saying the kitchen was backed up (which seemed strange to me because there were many empty tables as it was still early and a bunch of servers were standing around since most tables looked like they were just waiting for their food to come out). Melanie did bring out a free appetizer for us saying it was from the kitchen to apologize for waiting so long for our food of which we were very appreciative. Our food finally came out around 7 ish (mind you we were there at 5:30 and ordered fairly quickly) and my dad’s steak was ice cold, my husband’s braised short ribs were cold in some spots and warm in others, my mom’s scallops and risotto honestly had no flavor. It was almost as if they didn’t add any seasoning whatsoever, not even salt and pepper. Our server came out to ask about our food and my dad told her his steak was cold so she was very apologetic and brought it back saying they would make another one. It came out a few minutes later and it was barely lukewarm. It was almost as if they put it under a warming light for a few mins and then brought it back out. Our server was again apologetic but didn’t know what else to do. At this point it was almost 7:30, we had been there for 2 hours so we just asked for boxes and the check and left. We had a cake for our daughter that never made it out and we ended up just taking it back home due to the amount of time we were there. The experience was unfortunate, but I’m hoping maybe just the kitchen was short staffed that night as we had eaten there once before and it was delicious.

Went for Restaurant Week - received a $19.95 entree - Caesar Salad - Dessert - glass of wine for $35. Waitress forgot to put our order in after salads were finished - Manager came over and apologized after we were waiting 45 minutes for food - offered nothing more than the apology but sat for 20 minutes talking to other diners - pretty sure I will not be returning - by the way - food was really good.....however manager’s response to a problem lacked the necessary concern

I was really disappointed my first time at Mu;berry Street Restaurant. I had a 20% coupon from the Ghost Walk in Woodbridge and was unable to use it because it expired but none told me this coupon was not valid.
I was also disappointed because it was my moms first time out and we wanted to make her night special. The service was horrible and it took a long time to get our food. In fact the waitress never came back to let us know that our food was going to be delayed and our waitress did not even come back to see how everything was. We also had to ask her for our check and for a go box. The food is very expensive too and the amount you get is not even worth it.

Have been there many times. This time the service was slow (not that I was in a rush). My favorite eggplant dish was mediocre. Asked for angel hair pasta and was served very soggy linguini. Didn’t want to send it back/just didn’t eat it all. My friend’s chicken dish was good. Mulberry crepe was delicious. Coffee was not served hot and was very weak. I think they need to step up their game.

The food was ok. We went on a day that was “BOGO” free pizza. They ended up charging me for all the pizzas. When I pointed out the mistake they took the pizzas off but never recalculated the tip (which was automatically added to the bill). When my credit card bill came I noticed that they had charged the original higher amounts. Mistakes happen, I get it.. but when I called the restaurant about it they said they were busy and would call me back. When I didn’t get a call for three hours I called back again - and was told the manager was in a meeting and would get a call back st the end of the night. No call back. Poor customer service. Should be ashamed if you fraudulently charge a customer and should care more to fix it.
