Great place for lunch, we had a great meal, taking out our friend and their parents! Love Mulan! We also had our wedding banquet here in October! Andy & Alan are wonderful managers and very flexible!!

Terrible food, nonexistent service, not worth the time and money. Only reason why you'd go there is because you need a big round table. Nothing favorable to comment on.

The service should really be improved for the level of restaurant they want to be.
Very poor service from the waiters.

Unusual decor and unusual location (in a all) make this an unlikely find...... but very well worth it. Dinner was totally delightful.......... very nice... quiet, refined... Private rooms for groups available... well worth a visit

My fiance and I decided to take our families here for a Thanksgiving dinner, as we were here about a year ago for a friend's wedding and had a decent experience.

My fiance was very disappointed with the service of this place. To start, there seemed to be an insufficient number of caterers, as it took about 5 minutes to wave down someone to take our order. With a table of 14, the person serving us should have thought about the dish layout, instead of just putting everything in the lazy table, causing a clutter of dishes on the lazy table. The server could have asked us about combining the duplicate dishes, since it was apparent our table was eating family-style.

As for the menu and price, almost half of the menu items were not available. Of the ones that were available, the prices for the items was definitely over-priced, compared to the average Chinese restaurant prices. As for the taste of the food, it was decent.

Factoring in the service, food, price, the overall experience was well short of our expectations.

I have a $20 open table check, but the restaurant refused to accept it.

There was a wedding banquet scheduled at the same time of my reservation. Even though we were tucked away in a private room in the back, we could still hear the DJ. It was difficult to carry a conversation over the music. The food was limited in selection. Nothing special for the amount they charged.

The ambience is hands down the best in Flushing. But also, the priciest. Food is decent with good service. I would recommend this place only to entertain business clients or out of towners.

I've been to many Chinese restaurants in New York City and there's no shortage of good and great ones. In the past I've found a couple of upscale Chinese restaurants, but the food was unfortunately just above average. Mulan is unique in that it is the only upscale Chinese I've found in the 5 boroughs that has truly fantastic food. And to make matters even better, the price is very reasonable for a place with food of this quality ($20-30 per plate). I have never found a bad plate in almost a dozen visits. If I had to recommend one item, it would be the Moroccan Spiced Rack of Lamb. Best lamb I've ever tasted. The only downside to this place is that it's all the way out in Flushing.

Came here with my mother in law, my husband and brother in law for lunch. We had the Business lunch, ordered salads, pumpkin soup and each an entree, shrimp with egg (so good and soft), fish fillet (very good), brisket (more like tendons), and stirfry beef (beef was very tender)

All in all, a wonderful meal, great prices, great taste/textures and a fairly large amount.

This is my third time at Mulan, it is a wonderful place. They offer a wonderful business lunch with lots of different choices.

Service is good, food tastes great and it's just awesome! Thinking of having my wedding banquet here!
