Great food. I had forgotten what a great curry tastes like. The service impeccable. But the booths are so uncomfortable. It could do with a refit.
Great food well enjoyed by all, especially the Canadians who had not had Indian style food before. Great hosts and a great variety of dishes.
The food was great! It’s in an Indian part to London, so lots of restaurants to choose from along the road.
Great food with attentive service. One of our favorite London restaurants.
It was great!
Booked for self and wife during recent visit to London. Decided had to 'do' a Brick Lane Curry House. Muhib came highly recommended and did not, in any way, disappoint. An excellent King Prawn Bhuna (nice dry sauce, full of flavour, could taste every spice individually) was the highlight for me. Being 7-8 on a Saturday night a noisy crowd was to be expected, the place was full, but did in no way detract from the experience. The boss was super attentive and seemed genuinely pleased that we had come all the way from Glasgow and had decided on his place. Price for two, starters, mains, poppadoms, spices, naan, plenty beers was less that £80 so pretty good for London I would say. We will definitely be back.
We had a nice meal and the food was good !
I chose this from reviews - never having been before, I am form out of town and needed a decent curry for a large group. Took a bit long for the food to arrive but it was very good... Well worth the wait and he service was efficient once the food arrived
Best Indian on Brick Lane by far.
A busy restaurant which is a good sign .The food was faultless , 7 of us all had different dishes and all were superb , being from Birmingham I have high standards with Asian food and this food was amongst the best I’ve had . Excellent attentive service too .
One of the best Indian meals we have had.
Very attentive staff.
Two in our group of four are vegetarian and found loads of choices.
We ate here as a group of 12, the food and the service were really good, everyone of us enjoyed our meals
Super tasty food and friendly, personal service! An evening to remember.
Its a decent curry house. Food was pretty good but some things like poppadoms and drinks very overpriced.
The food was very good, the staff were excellent being helpful, friendly and attentive without being obtrusive. The furniture was comfortable and clean and the atmosphere welcoming, and quiet when we were there. This was our first visit but we will be there again!
The Muhib stands out as at the upper end of the traditional 'curry houses' in Brick Lane.
You will receive a warm welcome from the manager. Clean and pleasant surroundings and food as authentic as it can be If you have 150 things on the menu (as is typical in Brick Lane).
Good quality overall and a meal for 3 came to less than £80 and we ate a lot! Recommended.
On the whole the food was great however the onion Bhajis were a bit greasy for me. The ambience & service was excellent.
Nice tasty good value meal. All dishes tasted individually different which was lovely. Service attentive. Would definitely go again
Really good food and value for money.
We booked this on the strength of customer reviews for a group after-work meal . We were really well looked after and the menu choices were almost bewilderingly extensive. Very pleased we chose here as opposed to relying on a "come-hither" choice on the night.
The Muhib is a fantastic restaurant that is great every time. My family have been going for 30 years and it's never disappointed. I recommend this place to everyone and have heard nothing but great things. Staff are fantastic along with the food. Best place in Brick Lane!
Great the first time I came here and great again!
I organised to revisit this restaurant after the last time I came (a few months ago) because of the great experience we had. It was quite quiet because it was a Monday evening (perfect). The staff were attentive, the food was great and came in a timely fashion. Just how dining should be - simple and pleasant.
Great food and value and really attentive and friendly staff. We had a great evening.
Food was excellent, service was a bit slow. We ordered a bunch of stuff and everyone liked everything.
Nothing fancy just good tasty Indian grub with nice friendly service. Party of 5 and all had different starters and mains and all thoroughly enjoyed it. Decor exactly as you would expect for a restaurant in Brick Lane. Been to Muhib on a number of occasions over the years and always been good.
No complaints. Everything was fine and we all had a good time. Good service from attentive waiters.
The restaurant had a great family feel and the staff were very welcoming and friendly. The food was very good and good portions too. I've already started recommending it to my family and friends. Decent price too!
Excellent food, attentive service, our friends from overseas said best meal in Europe!! We will go again!
Service was good but the food was lackluster. The spicy dishes, Vindaloo, lacked any pop and the Dansak was overly sweet.
There was a group of 40 dining the day we went yet the "lone" waiter here went out his way to look after us and he did a great job. He organised two special dishes that were not on the menu..the paneer was great!
This is probably the best Indian on brick lane if you can see beyond the dated decor.
We were a little worried about the quality of the food as we managed to get evening reservation few hours before. We were all wrong as the food was fantastic. The only thing what the place is lacking a bit is not a huge choice of drinks. But either way would recommend!!!
It's so hard to know where to pick when you fancy a curry in Brick Lane - everyone wants your business! The food here was really excellent, great service and friendly, professional staff. Big thumbs up.
- The food was brought out in a timely fashion (my party and myself were in a hurry for another engagement)
- The quality of the food was great.
- The staff were helpful and courteous
- It was a shame we were in a such a hurry! Would love to go back again.
I took my team for a meal to Muhib. The menu had loads of choice, service was good, didn't feel rushed or like we were waiting too long, and food was really superb. We had a lovely meal.
We went with our 20 something daughters to this small restaurant in the Brick Lane neighborhood. The food was great - we are big fans of the Peshari Naan. Service was friendly. Good to get there early as it fills up past 7 pm on a Sunday night.
Great place for a casual meal with friends. This is a great value restaurant and the food arrived promptly.
Classic Brick Lane experience. The daal, naan and veggie options were phenomenal! Friendly service too.
The service was very friendly and welcoming. Food was served fairly quickly and the atmosphere was good. Huge menu selection to suit all tastes!. I'd definitely visit again!
The whole family (parents + 12 yr and 9yr old) enjoyed our visit to the Muhib. Went on a Saturday evening at around 7:30, nice relaxed atmosphere and no hint of rushing us so they could maximise the covers on I guess a busy weekend evening service. Waiters very attentive and overall the service was excellent. Four of us eating, poppadoms, starters, mains and a couple of drinks each and the bill was still under £85 so a real surprise. I had the Hyderabadi Lamb, never seen this before at restaurants up our way ...excellent dish, will be going back for that on our next visit to London
Typical Brick Lane Restaurant. Probably not better than any other. They all have Tripadvisor 'Best restaurant of some year' at the entrance. The food is good. Service is quick. Ambiance is typical for a Brick Lane restaurant. No space to move. Very quick service. 65 Pound for simple diner for four.
