Mucca Osteria Ratings and Reviews
Our meal was incredible! Starters were amazing, especially the tuna tartare. Entrees (fish and pasta specials) were so delicious. Hard to go wrong with fresh truffle pasta!
Dessert was equally divine. Had the affogato and cookies...oh, and a glass of Vin Santo!
Service is amazing...best in Portland as far as I’m concerned. Our table was a bit late becoming available, but a complimentary glass oh prosseco made the wait nicer :)
Loved, loved our experience at Mucca! You will NOT be disappointed..
We were here for our 6 year anniversary and it was fantastic! They brought us complimentary sparkling wine for the occasion. We had the oxtail bruschetta, the pappardelle pasta, the risotto and the chocolate souffle and everything was amazing! I would definitely recommend this place.
Perfect, perfect, perfect! No matter how many times we dine at Mucca Osteria...they continue to blow us away every time. Fabulous food, service, and wine. Thanks to the wonderful staff for making it special every time. Best authentic Italian cuisine in PDX.
What a lovely experience. Dined here on Saturday for my husband's birthday. Welcoming place. We ordered the scallops and buratta to start - both were split for us and presented beautifully. The flavors were amazing. Then we ordered the rabbit ragu and the wild boar ragu. Both were well done, flavorful, but not overly salty as ragus can be. Then we got the panna cotta and the flourless chocolate torte. Both were nice, but the torte was actually a bit dry. Service was impeccable. We were annoying and stayed for an extra half bottle of wine after dinner and they accommodated us well. We tipped extra for taking the table for so long, but they were really nice. Highly recommend this place for amazing food and excellent service.
Food was solid. Service gave one of party the wrong meal and took another 40 min to get the right meal. They were polite but instead of letting us know they waited until we got frustrated on waiting for the correct meal. They tried to make it right with comping the meal and pouring some extra wine but I think just being up front with the mistake would have gone a long way.
Mucca Osteria was amazing. I reserved the restaurant for my partner's birthday, and the ambience and setting were excellent. We went with one of the specials of the day, which was a lamb ravioli with white truffles in a butter sauce. This was excellent. We also had a salad and braised duck. The duck was great, but not quite on par with the ravioli.
The waiter was incredible. They had coat and bag service, which was nice because we had a long day of shopping beforehand. The waiter also was extremely knowledgable of the wines, and his recommendation of red wine for my partner was on point. He even gave a complimentary tasting for a red that went well with the duck! Fantastic service, fantastic food, would definitely repeat.
simply a fabulous dinner. They were doing 2 sous vide entrees so we opted for the ribeye cooked in a bag and then seared and a stuffed pasta course. Appetizers were a traditional prosciutto and Italian mozzerella dish along with a separate seared scallops course. Dessert was a lemon panacota. though we did not ask they split each appetizer created 2 elegant plates for each course. every dish was wonderful. Only complaint was that restaurant was too warm
While planning our trip to Portland, we stumbled across Mucca by chance through various online searches and I am sure glad we did. We loved it so much that during our 4 night stay, we ended up eating there twice and it did no disappoint. The location, ambiance, service and most importantly food, were all spectacular. I literally cannot say enough good things. The scallop appetizer and duck main course were out of this world. I look forward to a return trip just to visit Mucca again. Keep up the fantastic work!
