MT's Local Kitchen & Wine Bar Ratings and Reviews
Looked to Open Table for suggestions in the Nashua, NH area. What a little gem we found in downtown Nashua. We were warmly greeted by the Hostess/ Manager Corina who was expecting us through our Open Table reservation. We ask for a warm location because it was freezing outside! She placed us in a nice very warm location.
The menu had some wonderful options to choose from, great wine selection as well. We were greeted by our waiter Joe N and he stated out with, “ I am here to serve you.” He sure did serve us well. The food was amazing. I had the haddock and chorizos chowder which was incredible. Our meals were outstanding as well.
We’ll be back for sure, I’ve already texted a dozen friends os so to tell them to put MT’s Local on their bucket list!
Haven’t been here in awhile and it will be forever before I return....disappointing for the price, meal and service 😞 .....waiter said fresh bread is coming and waiting for it to come out of the oven soon but when delivered it was ice cold (I don’t care just a really bad excuse for forgetting our bread).....Shrimp and Pork Meatball appetizer was bland (needs some dip/sauce) and where was the Shrimp? Probably ran to Surf? .....Took forever to get our entrees where eventually we asked for more bread.....Entrees came and my wife had the Lamb Bolognese and loved it (finally something good) and I had the Maine Chicken Schnitzel (carrots were good but Schnitzel bland and way over cooked)....My expectations are high for such a over priced place so may I recommend either (1) improving the service/meals or (2) lowering the price! It takes more than a white table cloth...
MT's is our go-to place for a quick meal or a special occasion. The food is always quite good and varied so there is something for everyone. The service is top-notch with many long term employees which of course says a lot about the owner.
We had to add a person to our open table reservation at the last minute and they were able to accommodate. Our table was ready as soon as we arrived. Our server promptly greeted us and explained the nightly specials. We were not in any rush and she paced the evening perfectly. We ordered a couple of small plates for appetizers...great ! We ordered pizzas for our main course and they were excellent. Wish we had room for dessert as they looked fabulous. Thank you for a great evening !
This was our first time at MT’s and we will be coming back real soon. The food and drinks were awesome! We had the blueberry crisp for dessert with coffee and both were delicious. Our server was the best. We look forward to another night out at MT’s and will try Surfs and Buckley’s.
This was our first visit to MT's Local. We have been to all the other Michael Timothy's restaurants. We were early for our reservation but were promptly seated. We were seated near the kitchen and restrooms but the noise level was fine. Our server Tammy was very attentive despite the restaurant being extremely busy. I started with the Mediterranean Salad which could have been a meal in and of itself. I had the salmon special and my husband had the haddock. Both were prepared perfectly. We split the blueberry cobbler for desert. Being a member of The MT'sDG Loyalty Program, the dessert was free since this was my birthday month. We will definitely be back very soon.
Wonderful atmosphere and great service! The waiter we had was awesome! He was very friendly and gave us privacy, but was always around when we needed something. The food was spectacular! It was hard to choose what to get because so many options sounded delicious. A great date night or special occasion dinner. Upscale comfort food at its finest and it is one of our favorite spots.
Absoulety great place! Their filet mignon was by far best I've ever had (and I am a bit of a snob when it comes to red meat haha) my wife had the mussles with scallops And this amazing sauce. Best dining around. Waiter was awesome, atmosphere was awesome, all in all it is an awesome place! We will be back, many more times!
Our server, Joe, was excellent-very knowledgable and proud of the local-sourced menu. My appetizer was the pork and shrimp meatballs. It was easily one of the best appetizers I have ever had-full of flavor but light at the same time. The entree of lobster risotto was full of fresh lobster meat, and the asparagus was perfectly prepared. The dessert of white chocolate creme brûlée was outstanding as well. I would highly recommend MT's to all-you will not be disappointed👍
Hadn't been to MT's for a few years and found new setup in dining room. It was brighter, livelier and more open, but not as intimate as I'd remembered. We found two spots at the end of the bar and couldn't have ordered a better evening. The service was outstanding, food incredible and ambiance was the intimacy that I'd expected in the dining room. Will not be waiting years to go back this time!
We were visiting from out of town and we were looking for a cozy place to have dinner on a rainy night. We decided to try MT's and they did not disappoint. The service was very attentive, the Haddock Chowder was hardy and delicious and our entrees were spot on. I had the Chicken Snitzel and my husband enjoyed his Haddock.
If ever we are back in the Nashua area we will definetly return.
We were in the smallest room, 5 small tables and one large grouping table of 8-10 people, there were way too many tables/people in that room. It was very loud and we had to speak very loudly to each other to hear anything. This restaurant should not cram this many people into a small venue. People want to go out to dinner, relax, have a good meal and not have to yell across the table to friends. Just be aware of the noise level if you are seated in the small room to the right.
I always enjoy MT's. The food is fresh, never processed. The taste is amazing because the ingredients are fresh and are amazingly put together by the chefs.
It's my go-to place to eat. The interior design is comforting and warm. I love going there with my friends and family.
We had a short wait for our reservation. The service was excellent. Our waiter engaged us in conversation and was pleasant. The cocktails were excellent and served to our liking. The wine list was good but it would be nice to have some more oaked Chardonnays. The special swordfish dish was excellent. The lobster risotto was good but a little bland. The lobster was cooked perfectly and was deliciously sweet. The risotto could have been creamier. The bowl it was served in was awkward as it was deep which made cutting the large strips of lobster tail difficult. The Almond Joy cake was outstanding.
Way too crowded. Hostess did not read reservation notes prior to our arrival. We were given horrible table while I overheard the couple who came in without a reservation were given choice seating. I’m not sure what the point of a reservation is if you are going to be squeezed in/sat at a table next to the bathrooms. Table was very oddly situated. The staff was noticeably having a hard time moving between our table and the other “normal” tables in the area.
