Great new menu. Wine list is one of the best we've seen and the food and service were excellent. Highly recommend!

Excellent service and food. The Shrimp and smoked tomatoes over spinach spaghettini with a creamy scallion sauce and basil pesto. An off the menu concoction of a Rye Peach Mojito was also fantastic.

The food was very good and unique to the area. The service was prompt and friendly. The only problem dining outdoors at lunch time is that there is a local group of street folk that stand right next to the outdoor dining area and smoke, yell, etc.

That's the best word to describe my experience @ MT's Local. The menu had several hold overs from Michael Timothy's, which was great to see. The Beer Menu is small but some thought was put into it which is pleasing to a beer guy like me. Rib appetizer was fantastic but a bit too spicy for me. NH Mac & Cheese was another fantastic choice. My "Beer Tour" began w/a Smuttynose Star Island Single. Wonderful w/the appetizers. The Bistro Beef Tournedos went well w/the Weihenstephaner Hefe Weissbier. Absolutely amazing. After appetizers and dinner settled instead of coffee or a cappucino I went w/ice cream paired w/Kona's Pipeline Porter. I'm also a huge coffee guy and the Porter was delicious. An unrushed 3 1/2 hour experience.

My husband & I live in Manchester, but wanted to dine somewhere we haven't been in a while. Our server was great, the food delicious - our overall experience to celebrate our 21st Anniversary was wonderful!

Despite broadening the menu to include more low priced options, MT's has kept many of its familiar specialties and still offers some wonderful specials. With Buckley's Surf across the street, there are two excellent spots for good food on Nashua's main drag.

M.T.s is an excellent choice for dining in the southern NH area. Wine choices are excellent but a bit pricey. Pot roast was excelent but a few additional vegetables could have improved the offering. The salmon apetizer was outstnding and the mediteranean salad which has a staple for years was excelent.

Michael Timothy's (now MT's Local Kitchen and Wine Bar) has been one of the best restaurants north of Boston since its inception, and certainly can hold its own against some of Boston's best. It is consistently excellent (though I do miss the live jazz!). The food is creative and very well prepared.

MT's is a cross between European and American dining experience. The menu is wonderful, not too long and accurately describes some unique dishes, while the service is professional, knowledgeable and unhurried. None of this false, hyper cordial overly friendly, fawning found in many restaurants - just efficient and well paced service. The food is never a disappointment, even when it turns out to be a little different than expected. Prices re fir and pretty much in the "average" range for the Southern NH area.

In short, this place can't miss.

OVerall nice experience-- some things were a bit pricey for what you got... $8.00 for a garden salad? Not really worth it.... entrees were very tasty, again a bit pricey; and the dessert was to die for!! Nice wine recommendation from an excellent waitress---

MT's wonderfully warm relaxing atmosphere combined with dishes prepared with locally grown produce makes for a fine dining experience. The Mediterranean Salad is delightfully refreshing and perfect for a summer evening. And, the wood grilled pizzas are delicious. The service is attentive but not intrusive. For a relaxing evening of good food and good wine, you can't go wrong with MT's Local Kitchen.

1st time to MT's local - it did not disappoint! Wait staff was VERY attentive. 6 people mid-week, each had different apps. Some special requests (hold this/ exchange that) all handled well. Main course - very good size portions for beef tenderloin however the duck was somewhat small on the plate in comparison. Tuna special was only ok, best part was the cous-cous, which was outstanding (how often do you say that?). Generally, all were very good.
Dessert course was somewhat standard fare. Molten chocolate cake is always a hit, the fresh strawberries are a good summer-time add. Not sure there's a need for "Table-side" serving of the strawberries & creme-anglaise, especially if it were more busy...
Few changes inside...
I'll return

The wait for our meal was very long. When we finally did get the food we noticed the 'special' had some different ingredients than what we had ordered! Guess they ran out of them and thought we wouldn't notice. Our plates were cool, not warm, and the overall flavors left a flat impression. It looked and tasted like leftovers. I have had some good experiences dining at Michael Timothy's in the past, but I am uncertain whether I will choose this restaurant in the future.

I have frequested MT's on many occassions. Saturday was an off night for us. We had a party of 5. We were seated at a round just behind the curtain to the right of where you enter the restaurant, table 9 I believe. It was so HOT in the restaurant. We were all literally sweating. In addition, the front door kept opening and closing all night long and I actually got a couple of mosquito bites. The food was just ok. Nothing seemed to stand out. I normally really enjoy it at MT's but this last visit was very disappointing.

This was our first trip since Michael Timothy's became MT's Local. While the menu was quite different the quality of the food was the same--excellent! Our meals were delicious and the service was outstanding. We loved the emphasis on "farm to table" and appreciated seeing New England farms on the menu.

We started with Asian Beef Braised Ribs and Spring Rolls for appetizers - both were excellent, the ribs disappeared extremely quickly. Our service was attentive and quick, as well as being fun and friendly. I enjoyed the swordfish (light and flaky) - the pesto served with it made the dish, and excellent tart against swordfish's smoothness. We ended with creme brulee and a special frozen strawberry and ice cream dessert that was amazing. I had a local ice wine from their wine list, which featured local wines. Overall, the birthday dinner was a smashing success!

Michael Timothy's -- recently renamed MT's Local Kitchen -- is one of Michael Buckley's well-run restaurants. The decor is a bit odd, as it is in his other restaurants, but the food remains fresh and well presented. In an effort to provide less expensive options during the current economic climate, more pizza and comfort food options have been added. Fortunately, there are still some excellent fish and meat options for the more serious diner.

MT's Friday night meal experience was simply wonderful. The portabello/bacon soup was superb--not too creamy with multiple flavors. The avacado spring rolls were fabulous-spectacularly crisp with a spicy sweet sauce, worth the meal in themselves. I had the pizza which was very good and could have been an entree for two. My spouse had the pot roast which was also very, very good. The service was friendly and helpful and charming. All the staff made us feel welcome. Moderately priced gourmet food, larger than gourmet portions, in a cozy, warm and friendly setting!! The only possible downside of the meal was the coffee which was average, yet hot and frequently served. It's easy to see why the restaurant has survived for so long.

Overpriced. Very limited # of entrees on menu. Server seemed jaded - going through the motions with least effort needed. Cheese appetizer plate priced at $16 would have been worth it at $5 - very mundane cheese selection with very ordinary crackers, etc. MT's seems to be trading on its reputation.

My first trip to the evolution of Michael Timothy's to MT Local. While I missed the ambiance of Michael Timothy's, the food and service were at the same level they were prior to the change - fabulous! This trip we ate many of our old favorites that are still on the menu (for good reason). We plan to go back and try some of the more casual, less expensive food options in the future. Although I'll be back, I miss the Michael Timothy's that I would dress up for a special night out.

Parking is easy on the street. The front and interior and the lady restaurant manager were very welcoming. It is almost like entering a large intimate cozy private living room. Tables are sufficiently separated for privacy and spacious. The food is truly upscale, abundant, flavorful and made with eye for detail in presentation. We had wine and a sangria that were excellent and not very expensive for this type of place. The menu is not 'run of the mill' nor pretentious. One can choose from small plates, appetizers, entrees or desserts, all tops. Perfect espresso. Server Meghan, is one of the best we ever encountered and made it a great birthday dinner. The breads are to die for (come from sister restaurant Surf (wish they would sell them).

We cannot say enough about the excellent food and service at MT's. From the wonderful selection of wines and cocktails, to the incredible appetizers, entrees and desserts, this is our new favorite restaurant. We drive from Massachusetts to NH with a smile anticipating our dining experience. We have brought two groups since our first visit, and they were equally as impressed. Our favorites? The shrimp and escargot with puff pastry appetizer has a delicious lemon cream sauce and delivers big time in flavor. We have sampled specials and long time favorite entrees, and all were exceptional. Their recent venison sausage with pasta in a delectable sauce left many speechless. Lastly, don't miss the salted caramel ice cream or blondie!!!!
