The waiter was attentive and friendly. I took a while for the food to come out. Once it did I wish it hadn’t the chicken was hard and dry I couldn’t cut it it must’ve been left over from the day before. The macaroni and cheese must have been leftover as well it was warm and burnt. I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant to anyone. I was very disappointed I was hoping to have a good southern meal while on vacation.😠
Nice place that we found near Charleston during our visit. Nice service and good food for a fair price.
Fantastic!! Our fave date spot!
This was our first time visiting here and it will be our last! The food came out cold and when we asked to get it remade they put it in the microwave and then served it. The manager never apologized nor acknowledge the problem We will not be returning
Thank you for telling us about your recent dining experience at Ms. Rose's. We do everything we can to ensure that every guest who walks through our doors has a great experience, and after reading yours, we definitely fell short and will continue to strive for this not to happen. We do hope you give us another try. Thank you again for letting us know.
The food, service and the patio dining was fabulous as usual. I love this place!
Delicious food & excellent service
Great Food, good service with a wide menu for everyone to find something. Would go back again.
Very pleased, friendly, clean, delicious food. Staff made good suggestions, attentive but not overbearing…nice happy hour and Monday burger special
This was a nice local restaurant. The wait staff was friendly and showed excitement for the food and restaurant. And, OMG, the swordfish dish was the best one I have ever tasted. It is worth getting off the regular Charleston path to eat at this restaurant.
We had brunch at Mrs Rose and had a great experience. Outdoor seating, while not plentiful, is certainly available and comfortable. Food was tasty and hot, carafe of mimosas certainly a crowd pleaser. Will be back.
Great meal! Will definitely be back. Great service and lots of food for your money.
We loved our experience here. We had fish, steak, wings and an appetizer. Our server was fantastic, the hostess was extremely accommodating and the staff was attentive. We loved being able to sit outside snd have a low noise level. We will be back soon.
Great experience! The sweetest staff and big menu!
First time there. Heard about the fried chicken they serve. I asked for breasts instead of leg and thigh. Side salad. Chicken was hot and the breading to me was hard to eat. Maybe it’s me, but the chicken part was good but the breading was really crunchy and hard to eat. Maybe it was Friday evening, and the didn’t sell that much. I don’t know. Will go there again and try something else. Liked using “open table”.
Love love love ms roses! food is great, service is always awesome! i cant remember our servers name (Gretchen i think?? petite young lady with glasses), shes so sweet and does a fantastic job every single time!
Ashton was an awesome server! Food was bleh, nothing special. I’m surprised this restaurant takes reservations. I had higher expectations and it did not impress me at all. Pictures on here don’t really meet up to what you actually get. Probably won’t be back.
From the trio appetizer to the entrees, everything was delicious! Aston was an excellent server and we will definitely be back!
The food was amazing. Our server, Brian, did a fantastic job
Good food, service, atmosphere. Fried chicken consistently some of best in area.
I always enjoyed coming to this restaurant because of the service and the quality of food. The food is hot and fresh. The atmosphere is great. Usually I have business meals here and come back in the evening with friends. One place I will highly recommend!
Great restaurant that serves some popular southern staples. My girlfriend and I have eaten there 3 times in the past month. Great service, atmosphere and food. This last picture is one of my favorite meals here. Ordered it with my girlfriend and a couple of my long-time friends that came in town to visit.
I walked in during a football game and the host sat us right in front of the projection screen. We actually had to get up and move on our own. The server looked upset that we changed tables but even if we weren’t blocking the screen the projector was hitting us right in the face. Food was equally as terrible as the service. Couldn’t wait to get the check.
The food was delicious and piping hot. The service by Cody was excellent, as always
Side dishes were missing on one order
Had to return chicken dish
Waited for second chicken for 40 minutes
I had to cancel order
So no dinner??
Waiter did not have a clue
His comment was that it happens??
Good anniversary of first date dinner. Great service and selection.
Birthday brunch. The food was really good and our server took great care of us.
Great food, great taste, the staff was SUPER. Everything needed a better wipe down and mop down. The booth we were in was right across from the A/C discharge, it was FREEZING.
Lovely outdoor brunch!! The cinnamon roll was buttery heaven + the chicken biscuit was also excellent!
food was underwhelming. I could've made the drink I was served better. It was so strong and did not replicate the way it was presented on the menu.
Middle of the day, so didn't try their cocktails, but might come back for those. Food quality was typical for this sort of restaurant. Sports bar vibe.
First time at Ms. Rose’s, we went for our Anniversary. The food and service were terrific. We will definitely be back!
Good brunch menu and great service. A reliable choice for brunch in Charleston. Can sit at bar but recommend reservation for table.
Ms Rose's never disappoints. Food was great and the service was excellent. I recommend going for brunch. I love the fact that the source and serve locally owned!
food was delicious, service was friendly and on top of it, drinks were great and the patio was lovely to sit at.
Sit in the comfy booths of the bar. Its the hidden gem spot of this restaurant! The noise level is down and the service is near the register so you can easily track your server down, if needed. Their shrimp and grits has a brown, tasso gravy that is worth a Sunday brunch wait. But i would suggest reservations for the weekend brunch. Its food and location has made it a hot spot! And, well deserved.
Great service! wonderful food and specialty cocktails 5⭐️
Excellent chicken sandwich with pimento cheese. Delicious Cole slaw on the side. Barrel like booths are unique and servuce was very good.
The food was pretty decent. My party had the fried green tomatoes appetizer, fried chicken, Mac and cheese, the house burger with sweet potato fries and the shrimp Po’ boy. The food was okay…we had no complaints but not necessarily we would feel the need to return for. However our server, Gretchen, was excellent and attentive. Really elevated our experience here.
