MRKT Sea and Land
Date night with my better half
Great food had surf & turf
We love this place and have never been disappointed yet. But this last time, disappointed in our waiter, he never seemed in to it, we even didn't receive something we ordered and had told him. But I love it there, and will be back!
Food was good, music was good BUT Casino PA System announcements override makes the ambiance POOR
Really overpriced food that tastes short of upscale dining. I paid $30 for a piece of salmon (sides are extra $8-10). We were seated near the entrance of the dining area noisy and busy. Salad was great. Better options out there.
Mike, our server was wonderful as always! Food excellent
We always enjoy this restaurant. The food is good and the staff wonderful. Thank you for a relaxed lovely dinner.
Awesome! Great staff & great food!
Lynn, our server excellent. Food &_service excellent
Great ambiance with low noise level.Exceptional service from Will ,Sergio, and the busboy. Food was prepared as orderes and was very tasty.
We started with the crab chowder - which was excellent. We had small fillet and added pan seared scallops, and the pork chop as entrees. For sides, we split a sweet potato and wild mushrooms (their sides are definitely large enough to share.) Topped it off with coffee and cheese cake - wonderful.
We love this place. Eat here every time we come to. Eva’s!
God's on noise level - but not too crowded at the time. Great steak. Good service. Would go again.
Excellent evening! The service and staff did Everything right÷
Great place to go for a laid back happy hour. Erica took excellent care of us.
Our favorite steakhouse in Las Vegas and the staff is like family
Always great food I look forward to going back. The Martinis are a little weak though
Food was served cold and overly dry. Drinks over priced and very little for the price. This place needs to get some help. It was a surprise sixty Birthday for wife. So unhappy I wish I could go back in time and choose the other restaurant I had in mind. Just so unhappy with everything. And the end result a five hundred dollar tab. Wouldn’t recommend going. I would like someone there to contact me and explain how it is that five people could end up with cold food when the restaurant was very slow??? How about a refund for my wife’s birthday from Market Grill???
Timely seating; good service, food delivered as it should be: hot food - hot; cold food-cold; great selection of wines, great dessert.
Food was excellent, Lynn our server was friendly, helpful and attentive
It's been a little while since our last visit for dinner and after this last experience I can say it's going to be a long while before we go back. It used to be very good food and service, we used to be almost regulars. This past visit was quite disappointing between the very slow service from start to finish to food being over cooked. Restaurant was less than half full but our server stated upon our arrival she had 3 other tables ahead of us. Took quite a while just for drinks, a while later she came to take order. Had 4 salads/oysters brought almost at the same time. Food was delivered by someone else that didn't take the lobster out of shell or ask if we needed anything else. She never came to ask how dinner for the 4 of us was. When she did come around we told her my mom's halibut and my lobster was over cooked and dried out. She looked puzzled and said she would comp my mom's dessert. After sometime again dessert carrot cake finally came, it was very large but sorta dried out. My aunt and mom had 2 different house wines, mom sent hers back and at $10 a glass I think that's a rip off. Along with the $9.00 salad my aunt had, it should of been offered for 1 or 2 servings with price adjusted. Usually my husband and I share a salad which is perfect size for 2, but when it's for 1 it should be adjusted cost. This past experience has left a sour taste for this restaurant. I'd also like to mention the dress code, which was clear was not enforced. I believe it's "dress evening casual", well I saw t-shirts, peneltons and flip flops even though it was only 40* outside. Regardless, some of the attire I saw should of been at the buffet not at the Market Sea & Land restaurant!!
Having a belated Valentine’s Day celebration. The food was excellent and the service is the best. Great steakhouse.
Food is always great. The drinks are a little watered down though. Not impressed with the Martinis.
We had a reservation but still had to wait for a table, the waiter was friendly but seemed to have too many tables to pay proper attention to us. My wife asked for her filet mignon to be cooked medium but it came medium rare, I asked for my bone-in ribeye to be cooked medium rare but it was prepared medium well. I’ve spent less money at other places and had my food prepared properly, better tasting food and better service. For the price I paid this should have been a better experience, very disappointing.
Well the scallops were so salty not edible. Fillet came out rare not medium rare and was cold. Bad night for the kitchen, manager took care of us so we will try again.
It is odd and distracting that a steakhouse serving 40.00 steaks has a TV ( no not in the lounge/bar). Also looking around the room, most of the customers were well into 50's and 60's. Music selection not related to steakhouse ambiance or age of patrons. Food, great, service great, value poor considering the atmosphere. Please make me a focus group member, I can help.
Food is always fabulous. Our waiter I believe his name was Michael was also exceedingly helpful. Food was delicious again. It was really nice they also had live music out in the bar which drifted into the dining room. Was very nice for Valentine's Day.
I celebrated Valentine’s Day this year at this restaurant and it was a great experience. The food was great tasting and presentation of the dishes were on point. I consider myself to be foodie with many upscale restaurants in Las Vegas and I was not disappointed. The service was great and the prices were reasonable. I will definitely come back and refer my friends.
Not this time. We've been to MRKT Sea and Land numerous times, as it is one of our favorite places to go for special occasions. We recommended to friends and family and have never had any issues, till now. The service was very slow, among other things. We were there close to two hours...and not by choice. We were there 2 days ahead of Valentine's Day dinner. There were several tables near by us that had several parties (mostly 2-tops) come and go before we were ever completely served our meal. It took almost 10 minutes just to be acknowledged and order our drinks. It then took almost 45 minutes for our dinner to be served. We did not have anything complicated, requiring special cook time either. We were SO disappointed.
Lynn provided excellent service, as she was very friendly and very efficient. We ordered the Friday/Saturday night special dinner for two offered during the month of February. Lynn informed us that it was a nice special and the seafood scampi was very good. She was right! We enjoyed every bite from the two appetizers to the shared chocolate mousse cake. Thank you for the terrific dinner experience in celebration of my birthday!
Overall, the food was just okay. I wish open table would update their menu for MRKT because I went there for the fried chicken and its no longer on the menu. Actually, their entire menu is different. Very disappointed. I guess this review is for open table because if I’d known MRKT changed their menu, I wouldn’t have chose MRKT.
We came in late after the SB. They were not expecting anyone, but set a table up quickly and took great care of us.
Everything was great
Outstanding food and service. I only had one complaint. The main doors lead into the casino. The doors need to be closed. The noise from someone running a raffle or something on the casino floor was very off-putting. Moving further back in the restaurant helped.
Very nice ambiance, with very polite staff. The ribeye, lobster, baked potato and french onion soup were fantastic.
Service was excellent, friendly but not overbearing. Food was excellent as well. A great upscale restaurant in North Las Vegas.
The service here is in severe decline. I come here because I expect to have a better dining experience than at say, Outback. When you’re paying upwards of $45- $50 a head the service should coincide. This particular visit isn’t the only time I’ve observed this. It was however, one of the worst staff related experiences. For example, serving the meal before clearing the salads. I literally had to tell the guy to clear the first course plates. Serving steaks with no steak knives. The best was when the entire restaurant cleared itself of staff to watch the final play of a football playoffs game in the back. Oddly, the steak we ordered was one of the best I’ve had. Apparently you can’t have it all here.
Will was a great character and a superb waiter. My friend and I enjoyed every minute. The food was perfect and the service was done right. I personally run into bad quality and service all over the place but I was relieved here. I am glad we chose it. We'll choose it again more often.
Loved it ,food was great, and the service was too.
