Mr. Lyons is the newest addition to the F10 family, opened in 2015 as a reimagining of Lyons English Grille. We’ve taken steak and created a “New Classic” giving it a conscientious modern update, with a menu that puts local small farms first. Our grand dining room is pure old Hollywood glamour with a steak-centered menu boasting infinite sides and the kind of table side service that instantly transports you to a by gone era. Our lounge offers something a little more relaxed, where you can savor a true classic cocktail or something seasonal and new. Mr. Lyons is steak done right!

Very slow service. It took over half an hour after first course was taken away for our entrees to come, which came out as lukewarm steak (me) and cold prime rib (my husband). Everyone seated after us/ordering after us in the vicinity received mains before us, but the table adjacent to us was already having a talking-to with the manager when we sat down. There was no acknowledgment of the poor service other than a brief apology when the first course itself took so long (to which we cheerily said “no problem” at that time). I should have heeded the other online reviews and found somewhere else.

I took two friends for an authentic "steak house" experience and it was a great experience for all of us from drinks to desert.

This is a classic steakhouse restaurant that has been there since the 1940's. Great foods, wine and service. We discovered it about two years ago and have been there at least 5 times.

Had Valentine's Day dinner at Mr Lyons, food was great and we received outstanding service. My Lyons also allowed us to bring our own wine with no corkage fee and that made the experience very affordable. Steaks were cooked to perfection and the brussel sprouts are highly recommended. Definitely check out Mr Lyons if you're in Palm Springs!

Very good! Service is impeccable food is excellent especially the "Prime Rib". I think the best in Coachella Valley. The salt crust is amazing. Decor is old school Palm Springs kind of like the 30s era very clean.

We had to wait so long for our food that we were served champagne. Although they were apologetic, it was unacceptable.

We arrived, were seated, ordered drinks & appetizer, the steaks and sides. Everything was lovely, then everyone seemed to disappear. We had to ask for someone to find our waiter! He finally came and said he was helping in the kitchen as the had seated a very large party who did not have a reservation. Therefore the kitchen and wait staff were scrambling! While he was at out table we ordered deserts and decaf coffee. He told us there was no decaf!
Now one of our brothers arrived unexpectedly as he was doing a bike ride of the Valley and knew where we were dining. No one came by for about 15 minutes when he ordered a drink and a burger(thinking that would be quick and easy.) It took another 15 minutes for the drink and the 45 minutes more for the burger.
One in our went to ask the manager what was going on? He, Greg, made rediculous excuses, like we don't have burgers (which was not true as the menu was posted in the entryway). He then disappeared. Our bill Including tip was nearly $400 for 4 people and we were there 4 1/2 hours which was a lot of waiting for service!
Very disappointed!

I gave my review to this establishment yesterday.

Not good! So since you are asking me to give you a review today, does that mean you didn’t post what I gave yesterday? Now I am left wondering if this site is reliable for posting a review. What would you do/think?!

Mr. Lyons used to be an old English style prime rib place. It has been redesigned as an old school Palm Springs dining house with the plush booths lining the walls, where the tables are pulled out when one sits down or gets up. It has a very nice laid back vibe. The service is very good. This is the third time I've been here with my wife, and we've enjoyed all three meals. They have a Sunday special which we did not know about when we decided to come here. We came here because my wife wanted prime rib. Ironically, that is what the Sunday special is: a three course prime rib meal. We both ordered it and we were very satisfied. They have no corkage fee, which meant I could bring an excellent wine for us to share. The $50 wine I brought is more than $150 at restaurants we've had it at. So we had a great meal that was not as expensive as it could have been.

We booked a patio table early in the evening. It was lovely. Our server was very good was there answering any questions we had about the menu. We ordered steak. It was a fillet. It was cooked to perfection. I ordered mashed potatoes they were perfect. We ordered a Caesar salad which was delicious and a wedge salad which was also delicious. My daughter also ordered the roasted bone marrow. She said it was one of the best hors d’oeuvres she’s ever had.
Mixed drinks were very good. My only complaint was we ordered two baked potatoes which were very dry and tasteless. They were very nice and apologetic and took it off the bill.
Also the mint ice cream was outstanding.
I would recommend this place to anyone that likes to be in a formal atmosphere . It’s a great place to celebrate a birthday or just to be romantic. We did not eat inside so I cannot comment on the noise level or the ambience of the inside. Would highly recommend.

One of our 2 neighborhood "go to" steakhouses. Food always excellent, service personable. Wine list nice. Prime Rib always terrific also. Quiet, clean--and the best arnold palmer anyplace! Onion rings pretty great also!

Been there many times and always go back.

This is a great restaurant and one that I have had the pleasure of experiencing on multiple occasions. After several nice experiences, I have decided that the food is presently just okay. I wanted to try various dishes and come on various occasions in order to come to an assessment and my assessment is that it is "fine." The decor? Beautiful. The noise level and lighting could not be any better. The deserts are uniformly perfect. However, the main dishes are just fine. My dish was too salty and my guests' meals were also considered to be either fine or just good. Our tall server was pretentious, but it was fine.

First time diners at Mr Lyons, warm and attentive service. Great cuts of meat, cooked as ordered, very tasty side dishes, glazed brussel sprouts, creamed spinach, the bone-in rib-eye was excellent. Very nice atmosphere and bar seating too. We will be back for that special occasion and a steak !

Fantastic ambiance. I love the decor here! Looking forward to coming back and checking out the bar. There was a very noisy/large group here the night we went, but I imagine that’s not typical. Food offerings were what you’d expect from a steakhouse. (Although there are several unique apps I’m dying to try) The meal was cooked perfectly and tasted delicious too! What stood out most was the excellent service. Friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. Best water service in town! Seriously, a huge plus for me. I wasn’t worried about rationing my water like I have to do at most places. All around great experience. Thank you for everything!

Can't believe after going to Palm Springs for years, this is the first time we went to Mr. Lyon's. Steak was exceptional as was the service and the luxe decor. We sat inside because it was a little chilly--but the outdoor seating lived up to the charming interior. Great for catching up with friends or colleagues as well as a romantic dinner. Will definitely recommend for special occasions and look forward to going again.

For spending 280.00 on a prime rib you could get at a smorgasbord at the casino. Mac and cheese was dry and noodles where undercooked, burnt Brussels to burnt. Not even close to LG's. Will not be coming back. Waiter was great.
