very poor service. felt impersonal and like we were being rushed and they. did not care that we had a pleasant dining experience. one waiter in particular had a very disrespectful demeanor as if we were keeping him from doing more important things. ufortunately this restaurant is a local staple so its reputation is set in stone, so my opinion wont matter. my mother and i were very disappointed in how much less enjoyable an experience it was from a few years ago. you all also have some problem with bringing us food that is way too hot. i almost burned myself twice. ive been in new orleans for 10 yrs, please explain to me whether or not thats some "nawlins steakhouse tradition" id love to hear it. considering there are plenty of other steakhouses in the city to get the "best steak in town", im gonna fold and take my money elsewhere. sad ending to a story that involved me talking up this place for years, but it is what it is.
The food and the service are outstanding. As the name indicates, it's a steakhouse. And the steaks are excellent. But there is a variety of other dishes on the menu, and they're equally good. You can't go wrong whatever you choose.
Birthday celebration went great!
Food was excellent and the service was outstanding
Was one of the most amazing dinner experiences ever!!! Top notch service with exceptional food! The Who Dat Shrimp we're to die for lol. Only issue for us was the noise level but with that kind of service and food it was well overlooked lol.
One word. Fantastic. A little pricey but well worth it for that special occasion.
Everything from beginning to end was exceptional. Looking forward to going back.
Food was wonderful. Was a bit noisey but it was Mardi Gras season. Def would go again.
Not a place for Mardi Gras week! They cater to our visitors and not the locals and the noise level was off the chart!
Fantastic pre-Mardi Gras parade steak dinner. We go every year before Krewe d’Etat
