Zuma Restaurant - Las Vegas
If you just want to say you have been to Mr. Chow then this is good enough reason to go. The place is beautiful, the staff is extremely attentive and cordial, the food is over priced to say the least and sometimes bland and dry. Not a “Real Chinese” restaurant. My bill set me back almost $400 ( including gratuity) this was for four people.
Food was mediocre. Returned an item but was still charged. Service was very slow and inconsistent. Won’t be returning.
Food was amazing, service was great and the overall experience was perfect for a special occasion. We expected to spend a lot and we did - overall bill plus tip was around $400 for two people. Great experience- worth it.
Amazing food! I will definitely go again.
No tiene la misma calidad de comida que el Mr Chow de Beverly Hills
Food wasn't terrible but it also wasn't close to real Chinese food. For this reason I was really disappointed. Having lived
in China and travelling the country extensively I am well acquainted with what Beijing food should be.
I am basic American, so my pallet is basic when it comes to Chinese cuisine. I was not impressed with the taste of the food. The presentation of the dishes and the staff is excellent. So if anything I would recommend this place for drinks. The atmosphere is something you need to see, completely white with white glove service. I did not go in summer, so I am sure having the pool and outdoor area opened would make the experience even better.
The food and staff were excellent!
Food needs updating to match the food experience
DJ server was outstanding. Led us through the menu. Great experience.
The restaurant wasn’t that crowded and the service was terrible. All the other servers seemed to be attending to their tables regularly, and we didn’t have menus for over 15 minutes, and then took him forever to come back and take our order. He was the worst
The service didn’t meet my expectations.
this place was amazing great service, great food, and great quality! a truly 5 star place!
As someone who grew up in China, I gotta say the Chinese food here isn't that impressive, and very very overpriced. We ordered the The Chow experience, which allows us to order 4 first course, 4 entrees, and 2 side dishes. We ordered shrimp, short ribs, crab, steak, fish, veg, and rice. The food is a bit above average Chinese food in the Las Vegas area (nothing compared to LA or NYC area), but they all have pretty good presentation, looks high end. Service was great, environment was quiet and charming. During our dinning time, Mr. Chow came out and made a hand-made Ramen performance. It would be a nice place for non-Chinese to enjoy a upscale environment and Chinese cuisine.
Service - excellent.
Food— New York City Chinatown street level quality. Below Average....
That’s all I can say...
Amazing as always. Had the gamblers duck which is our go. Tried the crispy beef. Superb. Patrice was very welcoming and our server DJ was excellent. Live this place and always go when we go to Vegas
Over rated...I went for drinks and appetizers before my reservations. The service and food presented was excellent; however at dinner I was very very disappointed. The presentation was completely opposite to what I expected as compared to the bar. The green prongs presentations was like Panda Express! I sent it back, then I choose the fried lobster. That was too salty and I had every part of the lobster except the meat of the tail...I didn't send it back as I just ate it to get out of the situation. Not the 5 stars I expected as it relates to the food, don't waste your time or money!
I have eaten here many times since it opened in Las Vegas. The room, on a Saturday night, was lifeless - no buzz and no vibe.
The tables had been rearranged to make the restaurant seem busier then it was.
Food quality has suffered right along with the ambiance. A Beijing duck instead of being artfully carved was attacked with a knife and more ripped than presented. As it was the duck was swimming in a puddle of grease.
Other dishes were closer to the ones fondly remembered from other visits. The ceiling ‘event’ which I recall as being both visual as well as aural was just a electronic ceiling moving around and more or less ignored by the 2/3 empty room.
With so many Chinese and Asian options now available in Vegas perhaps the bar is now much higher. Disappointing.
Wonderful dinner from the time we walk to the hostess stand till the time we walked out the door! Everyone was warm and inviting and have a smile on their face. DJ our server was outstanding! Professional, courteous, personable and all around phenomenal server. We would come back just to see him. The duck was just as I remembered and brought back great memories. The whole meal from beginning to end was wonderful. And the extra step they took for dessert was excellent. Can’t wait to come back! I will be sure to tell everyone I know who lives there to pay a visit.
In town for my Bday to See Mariah
So I wanted to have dinner at Mr Chow
Host are very welcoming
Drink host very nice gets my drink
Then my waiter wasn’t so pleasant, Just didn’t feel like he wanted to serve me I was just very uncomfortable
I want Go back again
Amazing food and service!
Found hair in my food. DJ was our Captain and he told us the good news is it wasn't hair it was pieces of the carpet. What server in there right mind would say that! Anyways it was my first and will be my last experience there.
We haven’t had the pleasure of a more deserving 5-Star dining experience in quite some time. We asked the servers to order for us and they delivered on every level. From the Happy Hour drink specials that tingled our taste buds to the Beijing Duck (which takes an hour to prepare) we were treated beyond our expectations with various surprises and flavor profiles. A very interactive and fun evening.
Stunning room on comfy carpet. Food is a delicious variation on some of the foods we love. And done in a gourmet way. The service is friendly and comfortable. Management is charming and Vincent rocks.
For an early treat, try social hour and sit on the terrace with amazing views of the resort pool area.
We’ve eaten at Mr Chow’s a few times but this was awful. The irk was as dry as cardboard and everything was especially salty and the head waiters were far from inviting. Shock and awed. For celebrating my husband’s birthday it was spoiled by mediocrity
Good service. Food just okay. Beautiful room. Very expensive especially considering food quality.
So the service "Cory" was great, he was very helpful in selecting the right dishes for our group including handling allergy challenges. So the room was really striking, but the chairs were very uncomfortable, the back top rail jabbed into my back the whole dinner.
The food was OK. The duck was kind of dry, the vegetable rice was OK, pretty standard fare. The spicy pork was tender but so so on flavor and the dumplings a real disappointment despite being "pretty".
But the value is the real kicker here. We had 3 in our party, 1 drink each, 1 single portion duck plate, 1 plate of dumplings, a side of bok choy and some Chile pork (VERY small serving) and it was $300!!! Crazy pricing.
Took my girl to dinner before the Seinfeld Show. The server tried to steer us to the 2 and 2 share them thing. It sounded like a lot of food (which we found out from other diners was a lot) so we ordered the shrimp roll appetizer. We also got 2 house specialty entrees the green shrimp and the crispy duck. Everything was delicious but the crispy duck was insane. Being Las Vegas locals , we will dine here again.
Service was OK. Food was pretty good, not impressed on any level for the price.
This is my second visit to Mr Chow. The first was in NYC. I was impressed with just about everything during the first visit. Therefore, I decided to visit the one in Las Vegas. I didn’t think the second visit was as good ( overall being service, food etc ) as the first, however I hope this will change as I will be visit again in the near future.
This place was AWFUL! The food was whatever, the atmosphere was a nightmare. I’ll never return to any Mr. Chow EVER. I will also tell every person I know how terrible the food was for the price. NEVER GO!
Go to PF Chang’s, better food and lot less money!
Did not disappoint. Honey prawns are to die for...
One of my favorite places to go when I visit Las Vegas.
The service is outstanding, The food spectacular.
Great food but over priced!! services was great, cant figure out whats up with the ceiling moving is about?
Wonderful as always.
Food was just okay, nothing special, definite had better. We paid to much for what it is really worth. $200 meal, not even close, more like $80. The tables were too close to each other. Most uncomfortable dining experience ever. With the padded floor & wobbly chair. Will definitely not go back.
Absolutely fantastic dinner! From the food to the wait staff and beyond.. I will forever recommend Mr. Chow to everyone who comes to Las Vegas!
Watch out. Me. Chow comes first, his guests are peripheral. We’ll eat at Wing Lei next Las Vegas visit for top notch cuisine and service in a tranquil environment.
Delicious food. Not big plates. Fix prix menu price. Would love a bigger size on the noodles which I love! The coconut cake just terrible. Need to pay attention to the desserts. Second time dinning at Mr Chows
