Best Chinese meal I’ve eaten ever.
Absolutely the worst experience I’ve ever received in a restaurant in my entire life of any meal I’ve ever had. I’ve ate at Mr. Chow multiple times and this was not only that but complete garbage from the service to the food. I’ve never had such an unprofessional rude waiter who served me cold, rubbery, chicken that didn’t even fit the restaurant and not apologize. Disgusting restaurant from every aspect.
Had reservations and still had to wait 15 minutes to be seated when the restaurant was not even full. Felt as if we were rushed and took our appetizer plates before we were even finished eating it to bring the main course which was cold when it was brought to the table. Asked if we wanted a dessert menu even before we were done eating and then as was taking the plates away again, didn't ask to box up our remaining dinner. Ordered dessert and it was never brought to the table instead they brought us the check. Very, very, very disappointed!
Modern and wonderful. Beautiful art on the ceiling. The food was the best Chinese food I’ve ever had. We started off with the ribs and a delish lychee martini. Heavenly. We then moved on to the moo shoo duck. I’m not a duck fan but this was outrageous. We also got the fried rice. So different and delicious. My husband wanted to go back the next night. That says a lot. He’s pretty picky.
The Mr. Chow experience was tremendously elegant -- from the restaurant to the wait staff. The food was a sophisticated version of the Chinese food we all know. Sooooo much food that we're enjoying a delightful lunch later. You need to have the Mr. Chow experience!
The experience we had at Mr Chow was very mixed. There was a confusion over the price of drinks ordered at the bar and were given incorrect information. One of the drinks qualified for a 50% discount as it had been ordered before 7pm and cost less than $40. However, to obtain this discount we had to close the tab in the bar area of the restaurant and could not just charge the drink to the tab for the evening. We were also advised that two of the party, who had arrived in the restaurant just before 7pm, had not ordered their drinks in time to qualify for the discount. We weren't even aware that there was a discount available but it seemed odd to mention it and then to discover that only one drink 'qualified'. This was all very arbitrary and unsatisfactory - not a good customer experience.
The wine service was really poor. The white wine we ordered (eventually as we were not asked about ordering wine) was not chilled when it arrived. We asked for it to be chilled and then had to ask the wine waiter to serve us the wine. He didn't seem to know anything about wine. We had almost finished our starter before the wine was poured.
Some of the food was excellent but this was let down by some of the dishes and by the limitations of the side dishes on the menu. The waiter service was not very good either.
All in all an mixed evening which was a shame as it was a special occasion for our party and we had been looking forward to a great meal.
No taste to poorly tasting is the best I can do for the meal we ate. The shrimp roll tasted okay but all it was was a large shrimp wrapped in pastry dough. Not the typical shrimp roll. Rice with mushrooms was awful as was the crab meat cloud and black ink squid. I don't mind paying high price for a good meal but not $432 including tip for 4 people and no cocktails, just tea. I would never recommend this restaurant.
Our first time here and celebrated my moms birthday, Father’s Day and their anniversary all in one. What an amazing experience! Service was fantastic. The 3 course Beijing duck was INCREDIBLY well priced for the amount of food. We couldn’t finish everything between the 3 of us and the quality of each dish was amazing. Could not believe the value! Super impressed, have recommended to all my friends/family and will absolutely be back. Thank you for a great evening!
Amazing food amazing service. You feel like a VIP here.
The food was below my level of expectations and the portions were very small for the price.
Did not make sense to have dinner seated next to bar where drinks were 50% off with apps from 5-7pm.
We’ve been their once before and found it very good. This time food was average and service was ok. With all the competition here in Vegas they need to step up their game.
very difficult to find as it is located down an unmarked hallway then you need to take an elevator to another floor just to be sat in a cold, round room that feels more like a hospital room than a restaurant.
Ambiance is not existent. The specialty cocktails were amazing and the best part of the evening. The shrimp with walnuts were the highlight of the meal. Noodles with pork were horrible, rice with shrimp tasteless, beef with eel sauce typical, box dish was boring, chicken dish unmemorable, all in all, we needed to order more drinks to compensate for the cold room and boring food.
Worst serve I’ve ever had
Food is good, portions too small & prices too high. However, just know that this is what you get at Mr. Chow's - still worth a stop by.
We wanted a great dining experience while in Vegas, we came upon a Groupon and although it was more than what we wanted to spend we knew we were getting a decent deal and decided to give it a try. Our group of five had an amazing culinary experience. We all dressed up for an early dinner at 7pm, showed up at 6:30 and had some drinks during Social Hour (5pm-7pm). Once we all had a couple of drinks we let them know we were ready and were seated in 5 minutes. We enjoyed the Pre-fix menu, they served us 4 different Pre-dinner small plates to share (shrimp, chicken, short ribs and I can't remember the name of the veggie-filled pastry puff ball thing) Then BAAAM! the main course of Ma Mignon and Jumbo Prawns & Fried Rice came out. We were impressed with the flavors, presentation and outstanding service. At the end they brought the final course, a fluffy coconut flavor cake slice and Creme Brûlée, two nice size servings. We would choose this dining experience again in an instant.
The food was not up to par
Service was horrific
Never will go again
We were coming in after the Celine show and had a 10pm reservation. I first get a call saying “after 9:30 the signature duck dish is unavailable”. Then we get there, a party of 9 (and they would not seat us until all showed up-I mean the place was EMPTY), ready to enjoy dinner only to be rushed. “The kitchen is closing and you have 10 minutes to figure out what you want. Ordering a la carte will take quite awhile to get to you and we will just bring what is ready when its ready. You should order prix fix.” That is how it was laid out to us. My gut reaction: then DON’T TAKE RESERVATIONS FOR 10PM!
The waiter never actually explained that EVERYONE at the table had to order prix fix in order to qualify for such. He also never asked about allergies or specific dietary requests when we leaned on him to help us quickly (10 mins) figure this out for 9 PEOPLE (one person allergic to seafood, another does not eat red meat).
This place is not worth it folks-poor customer service and expensive food that is not good at all. I wish I had read the reviews more than I did. I based my decision on what I saw on TV rather than “real people and real experiences”. Buyer beware.
First off, if your on a budget this is not the place for you.
It’s very expensive,
I went with my husband, our daughter and her friend. Celebrating my daughters birthday. We got the Mr. Chow so we got to pick 4 appetizers, and 4 entrees, that all come served family style to share. That was great to be able to taste a lot of things off the menu. The food was delicious. It was $84 a person and we got a bottle of wine, our bill was over $600.
The service was excellent, top notch. They have a private elevator in the casino of Caesar’s palace that takes you up to the restaurant. They brought out chocolate cake and candles for my daughters birthday that was nice.
Overall great experience but very expensive.
Outstanding service and good food; however, some tables are very close to each other like Nobu in Malibu.
It was an amazing meal but I don't know if the portion matches the price so much ... Also the menu is slightly confusing but we got by with our excellent server DJ
Great time and vibes and the fresh cut flowers made the whole restaurant smell like a field of lilies!
The only reason I gave five-stars across the board is because ten-stars is not an option! What an amazing place with simply amazing, filling, yet light and healthy cuisine. Jeffrey, Tony, and Eduardo were magnificent servers. Hosts were equally friendly and professional. The dining room uses 70s styling (note the plush purple/blue carpeting), but feels totally “today”. And the futuristic moving ceiling art is one of a kind and not to be missed. Start with the champagne trolly. You will be glad you did! Congrats to Mr. C! That kid is going places. You’re going to make it after all Chow.
Terribly overpriced I would not recommend at all. Good came out cold and when I told manager he didn’t seem to care. Worst meal I’ve had in Vegas in a while.
Mr. Chow is such a special place. Every detail: the monogrammed silver service, white uniforms, interior design, flower arrangements, amazing food recommendations - worth every penny. You get the full sensory experience. Amazing evening!
Good got cold quickly.
The squid and duck were the best dishes.
The menu was a little difficult to understand the format of the group deal. Also, the service was pretty bad even though the restaurant was only half full. I would come back just for the food but I'm not sure I would bring a client.
This is definitely a 5 star experience the server foone went above and beyond making our night perfect.
THE. EXPERIENCE. OF. A. LIFETIME.
This ranks up there, to me, as the best restaurant in Vegas. Do not miss this incredible dining establishment!
If you want to pay extra for PF Changs level of food quality and service, go here.
Amazing! Light and beautiful, with great staff and food. High end prices but it’s worth it!
The happy hour was fun, outside seating on a beautiful day was wonderful. Happy Hour does not include table service, you will need to get your own drinks at the bar and meet the waiter and carry your app over to your table. It seemed a little silly at times, since they were bringing the food to the doorway anyways. Two of us went on to have a sit down dinner. Ordering was a bit confusing and I do not believe very clear on what you were getting. Everything is served "family styles" but we were told to order 2 entrees, and 2 apps. We didn't really need everything we had to order for the 2 of us. The food was unique and we enjoyed the exceptional service. The prices were just too high for the food we received. I understand, it's Vegas, but we had several other outstanding meals at much more reasonable price points.
Food was delicious but for 2 people the family style really doesn’t Make sense. We ordered the 2 course meal for 2 Pricey At $85 per person and portions were small.
Best Asian food ever.
Fantastic, memorable meal! Loved every minute!!! The food was wonderful and the staff was friendly and knowledgeable.
Great to be out of the Casino The service was outstanding and the food was hot and really good
Happy hour drinks and appetizers are excellent and a great value. We have been there before and always enjoy the gambler's duck.
The Staff was Amazing! I will always make it a point to have Dinner at that location. It was our first time there, and our waiter took time and explained the menu to us. We were there for a bachelorette party get away and the Bride was so pleased!
Duck was super greasy everything else was Fantastic
