Overall a great dining experience! We dine here every time we visit NO. Appreciate the quality and service!!

Mr. B's was a great experience, our waiters: Donald & Alton were great throughout the evening, they even had the table set with a birthday balloon for the person who's birthday we were celebrating! However, when it came to receiving the dessert, it took almost as long to receive that as it did our main course for dinner. We had a great experience until waiting for our dessert to arrive.

Food was excellent and the service was very good as always. One of my favorite restaurants.

I needed this dining experience. From entering, the service was top notch, friendly, and knowledgeable. I had the flash fried oysters and the wood-grilled fish with lemon butter. It was all very tasty and wonderful. Thank you for a pleasurable experience.

Went for our anniversary and had a great time! Food was excellent as always! Disappointed in white table cloths being removed but did not disappoint in service or food! Actually came to NOLA just to have dinner here! We will be back!

Great place to get a true New Orleans food! The Crab cakes were delicious! The Bar B Q shrimp were to die for!! It takes both hands to peel and eat these delectable shrimp! We will go back!! Yum!!

I love this restaurant and have been going for years. My only complaint was the waiter. Kindest gentleman but he was slow in coming to check up on our table. Food is always exceptional and a must try.

The service and food is outstanding. Stephen and Kendrick were our servers. They were very attentive.

Mr. B's is one of the most consistently good restaurants at which we have dined. The service and food is always good and the Bloody Mary and Martini specials at lunch cannot be beat.

Everything was superb. The lamb and Honey Ginger pork chops were delicious. I highly recommend.

My boyfriend and I visited NOLA for the 4th time this past weekend, the first time we ventured out anywhere during this pandemic. It’s really quite something to see a city that’s usually packed with people almost at its bare bones. We were celebrating our anniversary, which I simply clicked on the OpenTable app. We were seated with 2 glasses of champagne, lovely! Unfortunately for us, we had eaten so much all day we barely had room for a few bites of our brisket and shrimp and grits entrees. Everything was delicious and our service was just even better! This place definitely gets our recommendation. Can’t wait to return!

Menú is limited, other than that great experience and good southern dishes.

Despite COVID, the experience was wonderful. We celebrated my boyfriend’s birthday, and he thought it was all fantastic. Lovely evening.

Recommend the crab cakes, fried oysters and the gloriously messy barbecued shrimp. Great service and warm atmosphere. Probably much noisier pre-Covid.

Food was outstanding. Do NOT miss the truffle fries! The servers are professional and welcoming!

Sunday night dinner at Mr. Bs....grilled redfish and gumbo yaya were fantastic...very quiet. Small crowds. Definitely get the brandy milk punch...out of this world. Dinner here is never a disappointment! Will be back soon. Remember to tip your server well.

Food is top notch! Service is first class! Restaurants like Mr. B’s is best reason to live in NOLA!!! Never disappoints! Chicken Pontabla on brunch menu is best in city. Mr. B’s BBQ shrimp is NOLA’s gold standard!!!!! 🏆🥇

Anniversary

Love Mr B’s! I ate with friends at Mr Bs 20 years ago. This was the 2nd time eating there & I ordered the same thing-Gumbo! The best! Nice staff, great atmosphere & I will return sooner rather than later!!

Service was awesome from the time we walked into the door from the time we left, simple but great menu would definitely visit again!!!

We decided to have a drink at the bar . Great bartenders . We will be returning just for drinks when eating near by at Galatoires . Everyone was pleased with their meals . Great service by Brett and JC . One of the best restaurants in town from a local lifetime living citizen .

Asked for nice table in Rez and at door
Sat us in probably the worst table in the place - asked to move to better table -
Waitstaff was good - we ordered duck spring roll which was great - it came out in 5 seconds -
Table next to us was eating a salad, then they brought the duck rolls to them while they were still eating the salad, then to top it all off they brought their steaks to them while half way through duck rolls - he wasn’t happy and asks them to take them back - but instead they put covers on the entrees on a rack next to the table where they sat for 10 minutes while the guy and his family finished their apps.
all of this happened between my first glass of wine and ordering our duck rolls - so like 15 minutes - for fear of “fast food” for us, I immediately asked for the check, walked over to GW Fins and we had the meal of our life....
Will never step foot in Mr Bs or recommend to anyone ever....

Everything was exceptional. Very reasonable pricing. You must try their pecan long grain rice. Please save room for the butter pecan pie.

The most amazing shrimp and grits in New Orleans. I loved everything. I cannot wait to go back. The Gumbo was great, the fries were great, the bread was great. The drinks were great. It was an all around fabulous experience. I cannot believe I waited so long to go.

Meal was outstanding. One of the best in NOLA. We def be back.

One of favorite restaurants and it was amazing. We had their New Years special which was a pork chop, black eye peas, cabbage and cornbread. Had great service as well. Highly recommend this restaurant.

I have been there many times. This time was not a good experience. Inattentive staff, rubbery, overcooked shrimp and cold bread pudding. Really a bad experience this time.

Mr B’s never disappoints! Great food, beautiful atmosphere, great service.
