The plank-grilled red fish and trout were beautifully amazing- fresh & succulent! Very unique foiegras appetizer. Bread pudding as good as ever!

Food was excellent, service was so-so (never did get the bread I requested), bar tender seemed annoyed when I asked for a Ramos gin fizz, and when I finally got one, it was so bad I returned it ( along with 4 others our table had ordered). Have always enjoyed eating at Mr B’s, but the overall experience was not what I was accustomed to, unfortunately

We had a wonderful lunch with Christina and Clarence as our servers. They were so attentive! Our lunch of barbecue shrimp was delicious. We had a great time and would highly recommend.

The best thing was the service from one of the waiters - very friendly. The food is ok but to me didn't justify the prices. The shrimp and grits had 5 medium sized shrimp wrapped in a little bit of bacon. The grits were outstanding but the dish was really skimpy on protein. My husband had the rabbit and he enjoyed it but it was really pricey - over $50. The chocolate cake was ordinary and a waste of calories - so many better options in NOLA. I don't expect to return next trip to NOLA.

We used to love Mr B’s but not any more. My fish was almost cold, the added crabmeat was $12 and there were about 7 pieces. Small pieces. Our brownie that was supposed to be warm wasn’t. It used to be served warm and gooey. The oysters with Brie were delicious and perfectly fried. This was our second time in a row that the food and service wasn’t what it used to be. Too bad. There are a lot of other great places to dine in Nola.

Our order took an inordinate amount of time to arrive, and our food was not hot or even warm. The pork chop was dry and tasteless. Very disappointed with Mr. Bs Bistro.

A wonderful experience. Staff was very friendly and informative. I was solo dining and multiple staff engaged with me. A was able to watch the kitchen do they work. All very cool. And the food. AMAZING. Make sure you make this a must go but make a reservation. It’s very popular.

The food is excellent but it's the service that sets Mr B's apart for me. Such incredible attention to each person at every table, you feel like family here. My favorite place to eat in New Orleans.

Jeremy & Chris took wonderful care of us. The restaurant was busy but not at all uncomfortable. We were not rushed we had a pleasant evening with a wonderful meal. We three adults had the fire roasted Red Fish and my grandson had one order of fried chicken tenders with fries. We felt at home with Jeremy visiting while checking on us. Our 3rd year to visit at this time of year and still enjoying Mr.B’s.

Crab cake was phenomenal. Best BBQ shrimp EVER! Bourbon glazed pork chop was delicious. Great service. The only complaint is the noise level, but I guess that's to be expected when a restaurant is this popular and crowded. Will DEFINITELY return!

Annual girls’ lunch. Great fun and awesome service. Wished the Christmas bells were distributed but I understand that isn’t until this week. Eggplant sticks and duck spring rolls (not my favorite) as apps. Steak with pepper sauce was delish. Fries came with that which were a little underfried but still tasty. My only observation is that plate presentation is meh.

Went to dinner after a show. Seafood gumbo was not as good and tasted much different. Rest of food good. Service was average. No bread, no water or tea refills without asking. Forgot soup spoons with gumbo. Ticket incorrect when delivered.

Mr. B’s Bistro is now me and my wife’s favorite restaurant in New Orleans! The Maitre D was professional and sat us quickly for our reservation. We were served by Jeremy and Bryan who were both top notch in service and Jeremy had my wife and I laugh the whole time. The pork chop is something special and I’ve had some really good pork chops at high quality restaurants in Atlanta, but this one you will not be disappointed. Now I am a bourbon drinker so when I order an old fashion and the menu says premium liquor and I find out buffalo trace is what they consider premium I was a little disappointed, my only suggestion for improvement would be to increase the quality on what they consider premium bourbon- Angel’s envy minimum for an establishment of this quality. But all in all my wife and I really enjoyed our anniversary dinner here and the prices were reasonable for this caliber of a restaurant!

We had a reservation and seated quickly That was a plus! Alton was very attentive. We were seated by their station and were subjected to conversations among the staff we shouldn’t have been privy to. The steak and fries were cold. Instead of getting a fresh steak (medium rare), we were given the same steak, reheated! :( We weren’t charged for the steak. The turkey/dressing meal was warm when it arrived at the table. I expected a hot meal. Overall, our meals were sub par. Our appetizers and dessert were perfect 👍🏾 If we visit NOLA again, we might give Mr. B’s another opportunity.

As usual everything was great for Thanksgiving. It was crowded but we never felt rushed. The food was good with some rave reviews from 2 members of my party. Everyone was so helpful and accommodating especially since my mother was in a wheelchair. Thank you to the staff (Ken and Mimi and one other whose name we did not get) for making it a lovely Thanksgiving experience. Happy Holidays

We had a very poorly situated table and I was bumped the entire dinner. Our turkey dinner was served lukewarm. The house wine Pinot noir while good was much more expensive than some other good brands. Service was ok and somewhat abrupt. Very loud. While we realize things are different since the pandemic our experience for a previous experience was stellar. We won’t be back.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed each of our meals. We had turkey, steak, fish, and pork. Our two servers were on top of things. We would be pleased to come again and we would happily bring guests.
