Mr. B's - A Bartolotta Steakhouse - Brookfield Ratings and Reviews
My husband and I went to Mr. B's for our 35th wedding anniversary. We had never been there before. It was absolutely excellent. The food was delicious and our waiter and his assistant were wonderful and very attentive. The atmosphere was excellent for our celebration. The complimentary dessert and champagne for our anniversary was the perfect touch! We will definitely be back and will highly recommend Mr. B's.
Relaxed atmosphere, no one rushed us, food was phenomenal, champagne glasses were filled as soon as they saw the glass getting low. Very satisfied and will return. Oh, a lit candle on a scrumptious slice of cake to congratulate us on 28 years together. Nice touch!
Was a busy night. Service was slow but amiable and courteous. Breads good as usual. Cup of seafood bisque was literally half full for $8. Sphagetti squash side dish and broad yes potatoes were nondescript. Steaks were great as always and birthday dessert (flan) was scrumptious. However this was not the best Mr. B's has been for us.
The food was great. The seating not so much. Tables in the middle of the room are too close and felt we were having dinner with strangers. But again the food was great. It would have been much more enjoyable if are server would have cracked a smile and made us feel welcome rather a nuisance.
Always can be counted on for excellent dinner, great drinks, excellent service. The staff was very gracious and courteous, especially to quickly meet the needs of our 2 year old! Brought milk right away in a fun zippy cup and make up a pasta dish quickly as well.
I made reservations through Open Table and included notes about a 50th Birthday. I also called to confirm the Birthday note was on my reservation. It was. Both of our servers proceeded to ask if we were celebrating something special. YES. We were.
I know Bartolottas is fine dining and it's expensive, but wow. A $13 small spinach salad. A $10 bowl of onion soup. And a $40 steak.
It'd be nice if there were booths in the restaurant - some privacy. We were seated right next to a couple of gentlemen and we could hear their entire conversation during our meal.
Don't serve the Happy Hour martinis in the little martini glasses. That's ridiculous.
Our servers were attentive. Especially good with our water glasses.
Not sure if there was an evening special - we weren't told about one.
We had the very unfortunate situation where a drunkard was yelling profanities both in the bar and while seated in the dining area. This basically ruined our anniversary dinner. The staff did nothing to address this situation when it became painfully obvious it was impacting our experience.
Went to Mr. B's for our monthly date night with another couple. Brenna and Jordan went above and beyond with their service as well as their professionalism. The food of course was delicious and made to order, which was followed by a bottle of Directors Cut.
We also had the pleasure of getting appetizers and desert. The bacon slices were to die for. A shoutout to Emily who also took care of us as we were extremely appreciative for such a great night once again, at Mr. B's.
See you soon...we'll be back.
I was so excited to find a family owned, non-chain Steakhouse as my daughter is attending Carol University and we visit at least monthly. The steaks were good but my scallops were not cleaned properly with sand in every bite.
Yes, it is expensive, but it was the best steak I have ever eaten. The best overall dining experience I have had at a Bartolatta restaurant. I would rate the value higher than Mo's.
Our servers were a bit preoccupied and we had to send a salad back because the order was incorrect, but they were accommodating.
The fresh bread was phenomenal, and the baked French onion soup was to die for.
If we ever have another gift card, we will go back.
It’s a place that if you happen to be in the area and nothing else speaks to you it’s fine - no great shakes. The best part was the butter and cheese selection for the appetizer. Malbec was okay - better than the Sauvignon blanc. Pork chop was overdone - thank goodness for the gravy which was good. Lamb chops were good - not great. Service was very good. Eh - good neighborhood hangout I would say. We came in for a visit to the area so not something we would go back to.
Great Steak, Great Service. If you want a nice relaxing never rushed meal with the highest quality fresh ingredients prepared to order visit here. The bone in 12 oz Filet was incredible. And the Bernaise sauce was fresh with a nice tarragon and lemon taste Service was top notch and not over the top. Knowledgeable, friendly and yet let us relax and finish our bottle of wine in peace Can’t wait to return!
Want to make a comment about our waiter, Jeff , that he has been great service to us and very professional ! We have already ask him to be our waiter on Nov. 4th ... Plus the place to go out for dinner has been great and always enjoying there ... You have fabulous wine list !
Enjoyed the food and service. My only issue is the cramped seating arrangement of the restaurant. We ended up sitting within 3 or f feet of the next table. Difficult to have a conversation. Noise level was okay just the seating proximity . That effects the "value" I assign to the experience. Steaks were great - good preparation.
