The food and service was fantastic! Great wine list as well.
Steaks were overcooked sent back brought back wrong steaks covid protocol over the top just a bad experience all together
When I am paying top $ for a steak dinner I expect salt and pepper be on the table, or at a minimum offered. After several attempts I was able to get the attention of the server and asked for salt. A few minutes later she handed me an empty salt shaker. The steak was getting cold so I ate it - without any salt. And, it would be appreciated if the server would take the time to put any left-overs in a box - not hand me a box. We were not happy with the experience. I did leave a tip - although none was earned. You are slipping.
Food outstanding. Too bad they didn’t tell me their Health and Safety charge of $4 per person was optional. Then why charge me and get me upset after they charged my credit card?
Great food. A little pricy, but if you want a PERFECT steak, then you absolutely have to come here.
The COVID practices here are so overboard that it actually ruined the meal. We love their food but will not return.
Food was great! Nancy our waitress was the best! The only downside was having to put up our face masks each time a server came to the table. That part was a bit over the top. But we will for sure come back!!
Have gone to Mr. B's many times and the food is always great. Pricey but worth it if your looking for a great steak.
The food was excellent and the wait staff was friendly and efficient. We felt very safe with the strict attention to the Covid protocol that Mr. B's has in place.
Everything was amazing,
We had an excellent dinner at Mr. B's and Matt and Rebbecca were great servers. I can't say the same for the hostess though...she was unfriendly and just rude. She walk past us saying something that i couldn't make out...so I said, I'm sorry are you talking to me? she said more loudly Reservation...I said yes and gave her my info....she walked back past us and didn't say anything...then a gentleman came towards us greeted us. I almost walked right out the door...but he was friendly. Started the evening out on a sour note.
Waitstaff was fantastic! Food was good, but for the price I expected it to be the best steak I ever had and it certainly wasn’t. I was a bit disappointed.
Everything was as expected. Plan to return in the near future.
Loved the safety measures - thank you. I suggest you reconsider placing four people at the small high top tables. I will not come back if I have to sit at a high top. It was too crowded and difficult to eat. I know social distancing is important and I appreciate all of your efforts to provide space but table space for diners is important too.
Also, my wedge salad was not properly dressed and my filet was cold. Appetizers were delicious!!
Your covid guidelines completely ruin the dining experience. I understand the concern for everyone’s safety, however having to mask up every time a server, host or bus staff approaches the table is absurd. Even if you are in the middle of getting a bite, mis chewing or enjoying a cocktail. The only time our staff didn’t have concern for us not having masks on was to give us our bill. It’s also very hard to have conversation and enjoy the company of the guests we were dining with. We have been to other comparable establishments, chain/franchises and one offs and I’ve never experienced this. Sadly due to this we will not be back until changes are made.
Mr. B's was one of the best Restaurants that I've eaten at in the Milwaukee Area .The service was great and very pleasurable and I very much recommend this steak house !!
Felt the Steaks were not as Flavorful as we remember them to Be.... roasted Cauliflower was some of the worst we’ve ever had- greasy and over baked
Staff was Great and service was Great -Feel like Chris Ruth’s Steakhouse Is Better- your sear on your Meat is missing that Punch of Flavor....
We went for their food and we were not disappointed. Our place for quality food, ambience, and true dining experience!
The mask requirements seem to be a little over the top i understand precautions but we were constantly up and down with the mask, even the servers seem uncomfortable.
As always a phenomenal experience, staff kind and courteous, food on point.. simply put, one of the best.
My sister ordered the Wagyu steak special. The steak was over cooked (hard) on the ends. My ribeye was under seasoned. My brother in law’s lobster was chewy.
Considering each of these meals cost around $60, they should have been perfect. I’ve had a much better steak for a lot less money at other restaurants.
The service though was really good. The waitstaff was very responsive to anything we asked for. Only the food was disappointing.
They did bring us a complimentary dessert since we were celebrating birthdays which was nice.
We were seated near the kitchen and there seemed to be a bit of a draft. My wife was cold.
Mr. Bs is always amazing. Many safety precautions which made us feel safe and comfortable dining in.
We went there for my husband’s birthday.
Not only did the team at Mr Bs make a menu that said Happy Birthday for my husband per my request, they even gave him a candle in some delicious sorbet!
The staff was great and the place was spotless.
Kuddos . We can’t wait to come back and thank you for making a special night out even that much more memorable!
Wonderful experience! He ordered steak. I ordered the salmon. We shared sides of mushrooms and cauliflower. We enjoyed sitting by the fireplace. Their COVID restrictions are the best I’ve ever seen. They take your temperature when you walk in, leave lots of space between tables and ask you to put your mask on anytime the wait staff is interacting with you.
Really disappointed in my bone in filet. Was a little over done and didn’t have a lot of flavor. My wife liked her filet but it wasn’t her favorite.
Having to put on a mask every time a server approaches your table is quite annoying
This was our first time sitting in a restaurant since June and it was a great experience! We felt very comfortable when we were sitting and when the waiter came up to our table. Everyone is spaced out well and it was quiet nice environment. Our waiter Jared was wonderful and carried himself very professionally. My girlfriend and I were such a fan of the steak sauce that he was even able to send us home with a bunch of it. He went above and beyond!! When we come back we'd love to have Jared again!
One of our favorite places. Didn’t like having to put on masks at table every time servers come by. Everything else was great!
I was upset that they wanted to charge $4 for COVID screening which I had to ask to be taken off the bill. I have not been to any other restaurant that tried this stunt. Especially with the menu prices. Otherwise, I felt this was just an average experience.
We are regulars at Mr. B's but the entire process now because of COVID is very off-putting. We had to confirm 3 times for a few days prior to our arrival. They took our temperature (completely appropriate and expected) but I really don't want to be put in a position of being asked to pay $4/person to offset their COVID costs. We all have experienced COVID-related costs and asking a customer to "opt out" is inappropriate. Our server, Patrice, was awesome. Putting your mask on & off every time a server comes to your table is odd to me and no other fine dining restaurants do this. Lastly, we all understand that restaurants are counting on table turnover to make ends meet but being reminded by the staff several times when one arrives that we are restricted to 90 mins is also too much. I think we'll pass on this place until they relax their restrictions - others may appreciate the over bearing measures but we think it's too much.
Average food and manager tries to force you out due to the time restriction. How can you dine at a steakhouse in 90 minutes. He was bugging me at the bar as well while I waited for my car.
Will not be back only because of the manager. Wait staff was really nice.
Thought potato was included in my selection, but because I ordered twice baked I had to pay $3.00 more. Was not explained when ordered. Cocktails were all ice, very little booze. (especially for the price) We were at the last seating. Just two of us, didn't plan on staying all night, but reception very emphatic that we had 90 minutes to eat and vacate our table. A little overboard on Covid-19 protection. TOLD us we had to put our mask on EVERY time the server came to our table. I just took a bite of food, had to stop chewing, put on my mask and all she wanted to know was if everything was alright.
Not going back. Won't recommend.
The food was amazing. Quick service. I didn't like how much the waiter came to our table because we kept having to put on our mask while eating or enjoying our personal conversation... besides that it was a great experience and worth the price. I will be returning
Went for Valentines Day. I expected so much more from this ownership group. Their covid mandates were ridiculous. You have to put on and off a mask during ordering or interacting with staff.
Baked clams were ok. Lamb was cooked well but under seasoned. Cab sauce was terrible. Burrata salad was bland. Bisque was the best thing we had.
For the money and this ownership group, everyone should expect more. Will likely never go back. There’s too much competition in the restaurant arena and better options for less. Was happy to see it was busy though.
Was there for Valentines day. We were seated by our reservation time. Had two servers so all of our needs were quickly met. COVID protocols were obviously adhered to (temp check, masks, distancing). Food was fantastic. First time Ihave ever had scallops so pefectly seasoned and the steaks were superb.
Great food! Great service! Our reservation was ready even a little earlier than we scheduled.
Valentine’s Day. Good job with Covid protocols. Wait staff attentive. Food was over cooked and felt like it was made on an assembly line, especially for the price.
What a wonderful place to dine on our anniversary! Food was exceptional! Staff was wonderful!! Mask and gloves were worn and temperatures taken at door! LOVELY place and I can’t say enough good things!!!
My wife and I visited Mr. B's for an early Valentine's Day dinner. The entire staff, and our servers in particular, were very attentive and friendly. We started with cocktails and the shellfish bisque. The bisque was fantastic with nice chunks of lobster, crab and shrimp. Our steaks were outstanding, the baked potatoes huge, and the asparagus and mushroom sides were perfect. In all it was an excellent dining experience.
