Mr. B's - A Bartolotta Steakhouse - Brookfield
The restaurant boasts a spacious, handsome dining room, a sprawling outdoor patio with a large fireplace, and a bar that features a popular weekday happy hour. In addition to steaks, the menu at Mr. B's offers fresh seafood and a wide variety of entrees, appetizers and desserts.
Mr. B's is regularly rated one of Milwaukee's top steakhouses and was recently named one of the top 20 steakhouses in America by The Daily Meal.
The bar is warm and inviting. Enjoy one of the beverage specials & appetizer before your dining reservation. Once at the table you can never fail with the special. Chateaubriand is over the top tasty.
Overall great experience for a family member's milestone birthday.
Service was perfect. Drinks, Appetizers & Entrees were good. My ribeye steak, however, was a tad overcooked (ordered medium rare) and also a bit tough. I am used to applying gentle pressure to cut through steaks but this required a little bit of force/sawing.
It was MOST important to me that my family enjoyed their experience, which they did.
We had the best service here and couldn't ask for anything better. The food was amazing and the presentation of everything was amazing. Made our anniversary dinner very special and memorable.
It’s a casual Ruth Chris Steakhouse. The only thing that I didn’t like, was that my baked potato was dry and the tables were too close together.
Valentines and anniversary
We were first sat at a table next to the entrance to the kitchen where my wife's chair was actually sticking out in the walkway and my chair was hitting the lady behind me. We asked to change tables and we then were directed to a table in the back corner where the walls were banging apparently from a dishwasher on the other side. It literally sounded like a bowling alley was on the other side of the wall. Service was slow with drinks, sometimes 15 min or longer and our table had dirty/empty dishes & glasses that needed to be removed for quite awhile. When our main course arrived I was actually still waiting for my second drink. Thankfully there was water or I would've had nothing to drink at all. Thankfully the food was excellent.
The service was exceptional! Our steaks were perfect for us!!
Steak had to be sent back as was overcooked. Second steak had NO flavor and was tough. Friend’s fish was barely eaten. Very expensive for iffy steak experience.
My wife and I were out for Valentine’s Day. My wife have a chicken and I have the lamb chops. Both were amazing as well as our servers!
This was our second visit to Mr. B's and again we had a fantastic experience. Our server, Patrice, was fantastic. She made some fantastic suggestions and we will definitely ask to be seated in her section again. I ordered the ribeye and per usual it was done to perfection. My wife ordered the surf & turf, her favorite, and she was extremely satisfied as usual.
Very good service and excellent food.
Sorry, but I was disappointed and will not go to Mr B's nor recommend this restaurant. My loaded potato was Drier than dry and the steak was nothing like I'd expected. We had a party of 7 and our bill was just under $700.00. (If the steak was good, I would be better than happy/satisfied.) The Butler Inn is better.
It took two hours to get our food! Enough said, however, the general manager was supposed to call me and never did.
Its clearly the new favorite place for us now.. Fantastic food, fantastic service and awesome bar. Will go there again and again, and probably have the same food again and again.. It was that good.. :)
Great Food and the staff is always excellent. My wife and I go here all the time.
Wonderful meal and great service. Were there for our anniversary and our server knew that and was very sweet about it. Overall great experience!
Our first time there and our 33rd Anniversary. Awesome to everything. We will be back
Mr B’s never disappoints. Great time
Went to dinner on a Sunday for a nice evening/dinner out. The food was good, service was good. Our waiter Brad was attentive and very good. I had a filet and my boyfriend had a ribeye and we both walked out with left overs. We will be back.
Not the best we have had there, but still good. Brussels over cooked and the steak not as crisp as normal.
Amazing! We went for our anniversary and they didn't disappoint! Top notch food and service all the way around.
Food was very good. Service is incredible. Place was very enjoyabke!!
Dinner date night. Great service from Jeff and Nancy! Great steak cut, but sides were pretty basic and Brussel sprouts were were mushy and a bit bland.
Great cocktails, but wine selection is a bit pricy. Overall good, not great, meal for the money.
Great food great service. The steaks are large enough for two meals.
The food truly was outstanding—the only downfall was in the ice cream drinks we ordered. It appears they used ice and cream blended which did not make for a great brandy Alexander and grass hopper. Otherwise everything was great.
Always a great evening at Mr. B’s. Be aware that the sea bass is thin filets with the skin on and not the thick filets served elsewhere. Still good just wasn’t what was expected. Service was great, food is fantastic. Will be back again and again!
We had an great time. Our servers were amazing! They went above and beyond. Ot was our Anniversary and you made it much memorable. The steak and scallops was superb. The Brussels sprouts are to die for. They even brought as dessert for our Anniversary celebration
enjoyed a nice dinner at Mr. B's. I had a burger and my spouse had the lamb. The Burger and lamb was cooked properly, the french fries that came with the burger were warm, crisp and delicious. Will order those for my side the next time we visit vs the baked potato. Service was great, didn't have to ask for any refills on drinks it was just done. Will go back again.
As always, an outstanding eating experience! The r I dated seafood platter was great!!!
I'm not sure if the waiter did not know what a ginger ale was or if it was someone else getting the drinks that did not know what a ginger ale was. The first time I got a coke, the second and third times I got seltzer water.
While the food was very good, we were way less than pleased with the service we received. We had trouble hearing our initial waiter due to the kitchen employees yelling orders to each other. My biggest complaint is the complete neglect between the time our salad dishes were cleared and when our entree’s arrived. We sat there with empty glasses, patiently waiting for our food for at least 25 minutes without a single person glancing our direction or stopping to check on us. I basically had to beg for the bill and pay without looking at it in order to get out of there in two hours and fifteen minutes! This was my mom’s 78th birthday celebration. In the future, we will choose to go elsewhere.
Mr B’s is a favorite dinning place and our meal experience continued to meet our high expectations in all areas: service, beverages, meal, and dessert. Well done Mr. B’s.
Great food great atmosphere great prices....
We had two waiters. The service was good but a little sloppy. I believe one of them may have been in training.
I would only recommend this to my friends with a lot of money. It is good, but very expensive.
Well, the evening started out a bit rocky with the host clearly being super impatient to seat us. I had been trying to get the bartender's attention so I could square up at the bar before being seated. Once we were seated, that's when the wonderful service began...our waiter (Jordan) was amazing. The food was superb. Our group of five had a truly enjoyable evening.
In my opinion, too expensive for what you get. Ordered the NY strip and the meat was chewy (ordered it to be cooked medium, so the temp. was fine, my guess was it was the cut of meat). Caesar salad had croutons so hard you could break your teeth and felt they should have asked if we wanted anchovies or not. Ordered a side of cauliflower, it was almost cold. Our server CJ was wonderful, except she didn't come to check on us after our food arrived in that case we might have let her know about the cauliflower. I paid extra for the diane sauce, I don't recommend. Also the diet coke from the fountain was pretty bad, must have been a generic like RC or something. Baked potato was excellent. Also, asked for a warm table not near a draft or a window, we were seated right next to a window. The restaurant was packed so despite the hiccups they are doing quite well.
Mr B's never disappoints. You couldn't ask for a better 8 oz. filet, done perfectly medium rare. We asked for a Brandy Alexander to share with the three of us. The bar divided it up into three glasses and I'd bet we got the equivalent of three BA's and they were fabulous. So were the icy cold Martinis that started us off.
Never been disappointed with Mr. B’s.
Delicious food, good service, will be back soon
