The Food was Excellent. Service was good but just a bit slow at times. Our table wasn't in the best location but worked out fine.
So good to be back!! We missed dining at Mr. B's during this Pandemic year. Our server, Sarah, was outstanding. Our food was delicious as always! Thanks for being there for us Bartolottas! Can't wait to dine there again!!
Excellent food and service. Wait staff knowledgeable and pleasant. Best steak ever!
We were seated promptly and we did have staff bring water and utensils. Placed a drink order and that took longer than it needed. Drinks finally arrived and were very good. We had porter house for two. Excellent.
Appreciated the table distance from each other. Service was amazing and we both cleaned our plates with terrific entrees. Highly recommend the salmon and the filet mignon.
Servers, waitstaff are very attentive, excellent! Steaks are awesome, delicious food overall! We’ve been here several times and are never disappointed!
Everything was just perfect! Will be there again!
As always the food and service was outstanding. For a fine dining experience this is my go to restaurant for a night out with my beautiful wife.
My wife and I celebrated our anniversary there last night. Had a great meal. The service was excellent!
Good anniversary dinner
Old Fashions were way too sweet. My first steak was tough and I don’t care for whatever they’ve done to the seasoning of their steaks. The creamed spinach tasted awful. We couldn’t even eat it.
The lobster Mac was different. Not as good as it used to be. The seafood bisque, salad, rolls and cheesecake were good as was the service.
This was our favorite restaurant. What happened?
For the price, I don’t know if I want to come back.
Food was not up to usual Bartollotta standards. Service was good. Attentive despite covid changes. Filet was tough and overcooked. Scallops were tender but bland. Overall did not meet expectations again. Too bad. Moving on to other restaurant options in the area.
My husband and I dined at Mr. B's in Brookfield celebrating his birthday. The food and service were excellent - we will definitely be back!
Nice atmosphere good service. The wine list and entrees are overly priced
Mr. B's is what we expected it to be. We loved the fact that our party of 6 was seated at a round table, so we could have full table conversations.
Everyone liked their meal - although I think the steak eaters were disappointed with nothing else on the plate but the meat (no vegetable and the potato was on a side plate).
The pricing is up there - but I wasn't disappointed with the food pricing, but rather the wine pricing. It's about 3x the store prices.
The only other comment is the bar seating only had about 5 chairs total. I get they are trying to social distance, but there were four people seating at one of the bar, which left 1 chair all by itself with about 20 feet between it and the next person. So don't get their too soon before your reserved time.
Delicious food, relaxing atmosphere, friendly staff.
Steak and asparagus was overdone. Twice baked potato had black spots in the shell part.
Steaks were perfect as usual. Service was impeccable.
Always a favorite place to go.
Loved the way they handled the COVID precautions! Tables nicely spaced and staff with masks. Great job!!
My husbands steak was a tad over cooked, but everything else was fabulous!!!
I wasn't happy with the steak, it lacked flavor, but the rest of our meals were very good.
Food was great! Would have preferred to sit in the dining room NOT the high top table in the bar, but there were not reservations available for these at the time we needed. Will be back again!
Been here multiple times, service is always great. Food was very good . I ordered lamb chops and were very good, wish an extra lamb chop came on plate but was very good . The bearnaise sauce was excellent
The overall experience was very underwhelming and disappointing. The food was just ok. My steak was overdone, but my mashed potatoes were good, but again they’re mashed potatoes. My wife’s salmon was subpar and the rest of her meal arrived lukewarm and the potato was burnt. The biggest issue we had was that when you spend as much as we did, you really want to enjoy the experience and go away feeling like it was worth what you paid. We definitely did not. As much as we’d like to give a great review, we simply can’t. Pretty sure we won’t try Bartolotta’s again.
Beautiful place with outstanding service and food.
Excellent food and service for our party of four.
My husband & I dined on 5/15/21. We both had a rib eye-it was the worse steak we've ever had! It was also cold, along with the sides. My glass of wine was so small, for $15 I expect at least a 5 oz pour. I literally took 4 sips. The appetizer was good, wood grilled bacon. So was the shellfish bisque. But the steaks were cold, tough, and had no flavor! We ordered them medium rare, so it's not because they were overdone. For $48 per steak, we were extremely disappointed. Will NEVER go back. I wrote corporate but have not had a response. If you want a great steak, go to Capital Grille or Carnevor!
Top notch service and attention.
Mr. B's is a great place for steaks. The food was well prepared and excellent. Service was a bit spotty this visit. Restaurant is quite Covid-19 aware, with a request for masks while walking in the restaurant, but not at your table.
Great service, great food.... the only area I was hoping for, was a little wider selection of whiskey, but that's a very specific trait. However, they had some very nice bottles to compliment the steaks (I just had hope for more variety is all).
They need to ditch the mask policy. Utterly ridiculous at this point. Food was great.
We enjoyed a quiet dinner out with our neighbors. What a great friendship we have had over the years. We will definitely be back! Thank you Mister B’s!
A very quiet, relaxing meal with excellent food and service. Always a pleasure dining here.
The service was a slower pace compared to other Bartolotta Restaurants we have been to and we were placed near the kitchen, so the noise level was a little higher than usual. We were celebrating Mother’s Day, so it would’ve been nice for a little better service!
What happened to Bartolotta restaurants? Caesar side salad had 3 croutons. 2 pieces of shaved parm. Basically a bowl of lettuce. The one server was gracious but the gentleman was very short and borderline rude. The interior was tired and dark. This was a Wednesday after Mother’s Day and the huge sign in the entryway still advertised Mother’s Day brunch. The interior needs a fresh update. Fingerprints on doors in dining area like it’s been awhile since it was cleaned. So disappointed since this was a birthday and the first time back for us dining at a restaurant in over a year. Bartolotta restaurants have been our go-to restaurants for years. But Mr. Bs left us sad and disappointed. I guess we were tipped off when we entered the doors to a Mother’s Day brunch sign. It showed a lack of attention. Finally, we stayed an hour. At the 60 minute mark we must have been asked by 4 staffers if we were done. Clearly, it was time to leave.
We enjoy celebrating special occasions at Mr. B's. We know we will have a great experience; and our Mother's day celebration was exactly that!
Table was too small for 6 people and a high chair.
Service was GREAT as usual
We have been going to Mr.B's for years. The food, the service, the ambience are always excellent. I deeply appreciate the safety protocols in place now. It is the ONLY restaurant we will actually dine inside now. We always feel safe. Thank you!
We were here for the mother’s days brunch and found the quality of the food was much lower than we have come to expect from Mr B’s. It was a three course fixed menu and the quality of the steak wasn’t what you expect from them and certainly not the price we paid. The service was excellent generally except they rushed our desserts along before our kids were done eating their main course - one of the reasons I hate ordering all the courses at once.
As a long time restaurateur of Bartolotta restaurants, I was incredibly disappointed with our most recent dining experience. My wife, two kids and I decided to join you for Mother's Day brunch yesterday and were severely underwhelmed.
After being seated we requested to see a wine list and immediately placed an order with our server for a bottle of Prosecco and also placed an order for our kids. We waited for over 25 minutes before asking our server about the status, which your wait staff did quickly remedy the situation and got us our bottle (without a chiller). After 1 hour, we also asked the server about the status of our children's meals which then arrived after 75 minutes. All of this could have been excusable, however what was completely appalling was our meals.
My wife and I ordered our steaks rare + (plus) and received them medium well. We did bring this to the attention of our server, who proceeded to argue with us about our order - stating "no you said you wanted them medium". We politely corrected the server saying - "no we asked for our kids steaks to be medium and our's to be rare plus", and at this point the server apologized and recognized they had made a mistake.
We did finish our meals but at no point did your staff suggest offering to credit us for the mistakes or even a small portion of our bill. We left very unsatisfied by our dining experience and wanted to bring our very bad experience to your attention.
Wagyu Steak Frites - certainly that sounds great! The only think edible was the frites which were kind of lukewarm. The hangar steak had a flavor profile not found in the beef category. The most complimentary thing anyone in our group could say was that it was gamey. Caesar salad was ok. Cheese plate - let's just say that even a mouse would not have been happy with the portion.
The drinks we ordered were fine and our servers did a great job.
Taking temperatures and masking while speaking to a server on the initial order (as per the sign on the table) is a little over the top! Clearly the virus only hangs around to see what you order initially, doesn't care about subsequent visits to the table. Better Steakhouses in Waukesha County.
Quality of the food vs. prices charged means I will not be going back.
