Love it every time I eat here. Our server was amazing and fun
great creative menu! Great service ,mix of southern with a touch of Asian
Mozelle's is still my favorite restaurant in Winston Salem. It's our go to place to celebrate our anniversary every year!
Mozelle’s couldn’t be more lovely. We
We arrived early for our Sunday brunch reservation but were seated immediately. The place is really tiny, but comfortable and bright. They only have wine and beer but the Sake Bloody Mary is really good. My partner and I shared the very tasty strawberry arugula salad. Her grilled cheese and tomato basil soup were superb. I had the tomato pie which had a very flaky top and bottom crust and is loaded with juicy tomatoes. For dessert, we shared the delightfully light bread pudding with caramel sauce. Ther service was efficient and professional without being rushed. Mozelle's is a fun spot with very good food.
One of our favorite restaurants! Always a great meal.
My husband and I have been to Mozelle's several times and it never disappoints. This time we had dinner with his son and our daughter in law, their first experience, and we all enjoyed it mightily. The service was superb, the wines were perfect and the food was original and tasty. Special kudos for the spring rolls, the meat loaf and the pasta scallop dish...and the pork osso buco is still a treat as well! All in all a great spot and a fun evening. Hard to visit Winston-Salem without having dinner at Mozelle's and I feel sure we will be back next time we are in town!
Always 5 star......
Great local restaurant and a terrific way to treat any guest to southern cuisine......
thoughtful beer and wine selections....
Fried chicken, meatloaf, tomato pie...to mac and cheese and spicy collards.... comfort food classics!
Make sure to save room for dessert!!!
We thoroughly enjoyed our evening. The food was amazing and the service was top notch. The staff was friendly and attentive. It’s a definite stop when you’re in Winston-Salem, make sure you try the tomato pie!
Always great service and good comfort food. Casual setting with great outdoor dining when weather cooperates. Our favorites entrees are the fried chicken and meatloaf, lots of other good items on the menu
Went for Easter brunch. When the restaurant confirmed my reservation 2 days prior, they informed me that they will be serving their normal dinner menu, along with some chef's brunch selections. However, once we got there our server had no information about brunch options, and went away for nearly 20 minutes to find out what they were. Ended up the only "brunch" option was steak with an over easy egg. They should have had other options like waffles, quiche, etc for Easter. Food was good overall, but my burger was not cooked to the desired temperature, and my fries came out cold. They promptly corrected that. We like Mozelles, but would have expected something a little more special for Easter brunch.
The server was great. I had the shrimp and grits, which were amazing. The only thing that wasn't so great was that there was a lot of smoke since the place was smaller, but it didn't last long and the food and service more than made up for the small inconvience.
Great food and service as always. I am addicted to the tomato pie.
This was a belated birthday celebration. Our party was seated immediately upon arrival. Our server was attentive and helpful. He was able to answer questions about the menu and he easily accommodated my friend’s request to add shrimp to her vegetarian pad Thai. The tomato bisque soup I ordered was creamy, seasoned well and not too sour or spicy. The shrimp and grits is one of the best I have had in this area. The grits were creamy, perfectly warmed, and the shrimp was tender and seasoned appropriately. One of my friends commented that this was the best Southern Kitchen restaurant she’s ever dined. This was not my first visit, and it won’t be my last. Mozzelle’s is worth the drive from Greensboro. Such a great gem in Winston-Salem.
Delicious as always! The best restaurant in Winston-Salem by far-
For a Sunday brunch, the fare was creative and the service spirited and alert!
Everything was wonderful except one person in the party never received his salad that he ordered. We had to tell the waiter. He did not even notice.
A group of us had a wonderful meal and drinks before the Miranda Lambert concert Saturday night. Mozelle's was fabulous, from the moment we sat down till we ran out to door to get to the show! Awesome service, Thank you Jade!!, and beautiful food (Tomato Pie and Shrimp& Grits) made the evening perfect. Oh, and the sparkling Rose! We will be back. Looking forward to beautiful weather so that we can enjoy the sidewalk tables next time.
Great menu choices with fresh ingredients. I loved my fried chicken with mac n cheese and peach chutney dish.
Our meal was delicious as it always is but our service was not as good as usual.
Waited well past our reservation for a table.
A treat to find flavorful gluten-free meatloaf and fried chicken!
Hands down, one of the best experiences I have ever had. The restaurant, the food, the ambiance, the service, all completely surpassed my expectations. I will definitely be visiting again sometime soon!
Unfortunately the person that seated us wasn't nice, she gave us a table in the spare room when there was availability in the main room, the bench was incredibly dirty. My food had to be sent back 3 times.
The last couple times staff is not friendly and has attitude. Bread pudding should never be served without ice cream. Chocolate pie was no better than frozen. Service was slow. They were out of burgers.
Have eaten here a number of times, always good food. Was sat this time in tented addition area, did not care for this as much as main seating, realize main area is very small though.
Will be back again.
It was a super cute restaurant with fantastic food! Would 100% Recommend
Alex is a great waiter. Love the scallops, and the tomato pie, every time. Best atmosphere - cozy and unique.
Best Brunch in town! Outstanding!!!
Our most recent trip to Mozelle’s was in celebration of our 21st wedding anniversary, as Mozelle’s fits such a special occasion. We started by enjoying the Brussels sprouts salad. My wife enjoyed the fresh catch - sea bass - and I enjoyed my usual, the tomato pie (we shared... and I don’t “always” get the tomato pie...). We finished with some sort of decadent chocolate thingy, the name of which escapes me (it was awesome!). The meal was delicious and the service was great! I recommend Mozelle’s for any sort of date or small couples get together.
Brunch was excellent
Wife had tomatoe pie. She said it was just ok. I had the shrimp and grits. I love shrimp and grits, but these were just mediocre. Service was good and the bread pudding was good. Also had a ceasar salad. It was not a good ceasar.
I took a work colleague for her first visit to Mozelle's and she loved it as much as I always have. Great staff, incredible food.
Every bite was yummy!
We had Sunday Brunch. Everything was OK but not really special. I would not give it a negative rating but it was not memorable.
Great food, great atmosphere! Food is very fresh and authentic!
Food was delicious esp the spring rolls appetizer. Service was exceptional.
Service was fun and attentive...food was truly outstanding.
The food was good, but the service was incredible. Courtney might be the single best server of all time. I was enthralled by her selling the specials, I admired her graceful walk around he room, and she was so friendly I thought I was the only person in the world that mattered. Definitely ask for Courtney, who could not be more of a dream if she tried, which she doesn’t need to, but you know what I mean. Brunch was already my favorite meal of the week, but now it has become a transcendental experience. If I could give 6 stars for service, I’d give 7.
Great meal, great service, for a rare whole family get- together (6 people). Not a huge place, but we were comfortable. Try the tomato pie!
